World Famous Onion Rings - Half Order
    Elaina M.

Nice little spot in town. The inside has three separate rooms for dining. We ate in the bar area. The bartender was our waitress and she was very helpful and friendly. We ordered Kentucky Hot Browns because we've never had one (we're from NC) and having nothing to compare it to, they were good. I would recommend.

We came here because I heard great things about the fried chicken which did not disappoint at all. The pimento cheese was good and I liked the onion rings with the pimento cheese on it. The potatoes and gravy was Devine. The peach sangria was so yummy. Our waitress was so great! Love this building and all the history behind the house.

Wait time: no wait with reservations on Christmas Eve Atmosphere: cute, little classy but relaxed place. Service: over abundance of workers. Several servers standing in corner talking, lots of hostesses standing at the stand, lots of others standing around the buffet chatting. Not sure if this is why it took our server a while to come over to us and get our drinks Food: We had the buffet, standard breakfast items, bacon was a little smoky, goetta was very good and wasn't as hard and crunchy as it has been in the last. Fried chicken is the best in the area. Ham and the sauce they had for it was a Christmas-y delight. Price: $$$ Cleanliness: 8/10

Sunday brunch Buffet with a group of friends. Breakfast food. Lunch food. Salads. Desserts. Nice clean restaurant. Great service. I thought the food was good. Not great . Eggs a little over cooked. Roast beef dry. The green beans had a sweet taste. Fried Chicken, very good.

This has been a favorite in my family for years! I went for the first time a few weeks ago with my parents and my brother. We split a ton of appetizers and had drinks before our meal. I loved the Goetta Egg Rolls. It's a cool take on a local staple. Everyone was happy with their meal. We each got something different and enjoyed stealing forkfuls of food off each other's plate. Our server was very helpful when we needed to choose between dishes when ordering. For dessert, we got the Peanut Butter Pie and it was amazing! I'm still dreaming about it. The decor is very beautiful. The interior was so lovely. I hope to return with my family soon! We left full and happy!

Our Y group took advantage of the Greyhound Tavern Sunday Brunch. 10 AM to 2 PM. All you can eat for $25. Thank you Sheila Gilman for the suggestion. The fried chicken is juicy and flavorful. Several breakfast and lunch items available. Our server took care of all of my needs, and the best part, as always, was the fine company.

They had parking, and although they were full on reservations, 2 spots at the bar opened up and we grabbed them happily! First, the food was FANTASTIC! I had the Willy Burger and my husband had the fried bologna sandwich and we both loved what we ordered and vice versa. The sauce on the burger was phenomenal! The drink menu was extensive and looked so good but we were in a bit of a hurry and I'm 6 months pregnant so we settled for waters. Second, the service was excellent. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The ambience was great, I loved the big open garage door and patio seating they offered. The decor was so cute! We are bummed that brunch reservations for tomorrow are full, but we will absolutely be back!

They have a nice outdoor area, which we avoided due to the current heatwave. We ordered two apps - FRIED GREEN TOMATOES - Topped with Libby's pimento cheese, pork belly lardons, bourbon onion jam, and herb oil and FRIED CHICKEN SKINS - Hand breaded and served with hot honey dipping sauce. The fried green tomatoes were nicely plated, though the pork belly lardons and bourbon onion jam did not have the most pleasant color. They were good, but not as great as the description. Fried chicken skin is the thing! I first had it when we lived in California. An Asian market served them up thinly breaded and fried perfectly crispy. I just about jumped out of my skin when I saw it on the menu at Libby's. The breading at Libby's is thick. It's tasty for sure, but it's quite thick. A quick glance at the chicken skins and it looks like full-on chicken. Anyway, they were very good and I would definitely order them again. I had a taste of the hot honey dipping sauce because it spilled. It was good, but for me it detracted from the flavor I'm looking for. I had to have the FRIED BOLOGNA BLT - House smoked bologna, pimento cheese, fried egg, house made BBQ sauce, spring mix lettuce, & sliced green tomato on grilled 16 Bricks sourdough. First, it was huge! I could only eat half. It was very good. All the different flavors mixed together well. It was messy!! It was so obviously messy the server brought over extra napkins without us having to ask! Top Notch! Oh, the mac and cheese side was just okay. I barely touched it. The second half of the sandwich was delicious cold. It was also not messy at all. The leftover mac and cheese had turned inedible in the fridge. I did not mind throwing it out. My friend had the CLASSIC TURKEY CLUB. It was also huge and she only ate half. The fries were crispy and delicious. Mark had THE DOC HOLLADAY. He said it was okay. He also only ate half. I think he enjoyed the cold leftover more. I like the menu; lots of options. The place is cute. The staff is great. We'd definitely come back.

I ordered the fish and chips (still coming off of Lent...habit, I guess). I was pleasantly surprised. I expected frozen and flashed fried pieces. What I was served were three delicately beer battered sustainably farmed swai... good sized and delicious! The accompanying fries were fantastic as well. My only suggestion if you get bothered by loud noise while dining is to be seated away from the tvs. Bathrooms are clean and walkways are not greasy sticky. I'll be back to try other items on there extensive menu!

Normally, I find hotel food is just okay and nothing special, but Coppin's was a pleasant surprise. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess, and our equally pleasant server quickly brought menus and asked what we would like to drink. When it was my turn, I happily ordered Coppin's Old Fashioned. I was the odd man out because everyone else ordered the Spring Manhattan. Judging by how quickly everyone's drinks disappeared, I'd say they were all very tasty. I was a little unsure about mine at first, so to make sure the quality and taste were consistent, I ordered a second, and it definitely was not a mistake. I ordered the B+G biscuits (which are made by hand according to server in the hotel) and gravy with an extra egg. Others at the table chose a variety of dishes, including the CVG, Cobb Salad, Bagel and Lox, and several other selections. Based on the clean plates all around the table, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. My wife ordered a sample of banana bread, and I was fortunate enough to snag a small bite, it was excellent. After we had all finished, everyone agreed that my niece had made an excellent choice for her graduation celebration brunch. As my wife and I made our way back to Louisville, we both commented that we would definitely return the next time we were in Covington.

You could get an omelet or waffles or scrambled eggs in a serving pan. Bread pudding not what they called it (French toast casserole) was OK. They had simple salads in small bowls, small plain bagel with salmon and cream cheese that was set-up on the bar. Restaurant was half full at 1PM. Would never go back to this restaurant for any meal. Customers were taken advantage of. I felt totally ripped off paying over $300 for this (including drinks).

The wood-fired crust comes out blistered and charred just enough to whisper, "I went to Italy for a semester and didn't come back with a man bun." It's crispy outside, chewy inside ... the kind of texture that makes you forget every sad, floppy chain pizza you've ever eaten in a strip mall next to a vape store. The toppings? Legit. We're talking San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, hot honey, and fancy meats that sound like they have their own passport. And here's the real shocker: It's not pretentious. Nobody lectures you about "mouthfeel." Nobody asks if you want your pizza "deconstructed." Nobody serves it on a wooden plank shaped like Vermont. It's just seriously good pizza ... the kind that makes you say, "Wow, maybe civilization isn't collapsing after all." And the wood-fired flavor?
