Absolutely great time! Food was excuizete and the service was impeccable. My wife and I stopped here on our way from San Antonio to Dayton and for a small town in the middle of nowhere it was wonderful. One of those hallmark type movie towns. Anyhow the food was cooked perfectly, prices were very reasonable, and the portions were good. 2 floors plus outdoor seating and plenty of staff to control the situation. Parking lot is abundant and even if it weren't plenty of street parking. Service was great, our server was friendly, and quick even with the 2 floor climb ‍. Overall great experience! 10/10

Cool little gastropub in downtown Greenfield. The menu states the food is locally sourced, which I love. We had the steak tips and citrus marinated chicken both were really good and had good flavor. Our server was very friendly and gave us the suggestions on our entree and her suggestion did not disappoint. We'll be back again soon.

This is a beautiful comfortable farm to table gastropub with a nice selection of local beer and cocktails. The meat is all sourced locally from Tyner Pond Farm. Get the burgers

While in Greenfield the other night, my husband and I decided to grab a bite to eat. This restaurant was right on the corner off of Main St. They had indoor and outdoor seating. We were seated almost immediately and chose the outdoor seating since it was a warm night. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. I ordered a Sun King Wee Mac to drink, fried pickles for an appetizer, and Patty Melt with fries. The food was hot, delicious, and presented well. They had a diverse full bar menu and lots of great pub food options. There is a lot of construction off of Main St. diverting a lot of highway traffic so it was pretty noisy with semis driving by, so indoor seating might be preferred on next visit.

It was a great atmosphere, but the food was just ok and the prices weren't great. Probably wouldn't go back again.

Decent menu, which has become much more uninspired bar fare, but which is still nicely made.

Good food, nice selection of drinks. It has nice ambience with brick walls. I don't like to have to go upstairs for seating.

I was disappointed…read morethat the online booking tool did not allow me to enter a special occasion so the restaurant had no idea it was our anniversary. There is apparently no difference in service. My hubs ordered a glass of merlot and I ordered their lemon/blueberry martini. The merlot was nice but the martini was out of this world. My new fave drink! We started with the asparagus dip and again, the best we'd ever tried. We ordered their smothered chicken and an off menu pasta with sausage. Both were incredible. I wanted to try their pasta so I ordered a side of fettuccine in herbed butter. It too was lovely. The venue is in the basement of a former Carnegie Library. It's a little dark and has a speakeasy feel. We turned the lamp on our table to a brighter setting to see a bit better. Our server was Chris. He is very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about the food, business and building. The GM, Jeremy, gave us a tour of the upstairs portion of the building where they hold specialty events. Overall, we loved all of our evening and were able to have this experience right at $100 for both of us. We'll be back!

This is one of those libraries, making it a special building. The new ownership has added a patio on the front. Nice umbrella tables and chairs and a pizza plaza in the back They bake wood fired pizza in the evening The menu is an all day menu. They have about 5 sandwiches and 1/2 order of pasta for lunch. Otherwise you can order anything off the menu. Their menu includes steaks, etc and is a little pricey . I had the breaded tenderloin. It was not your usual. It looked as though it had been breaded in some kind of cheese mixture. It was pan friend and the underside of my tenderloin looked like a carbon copy. It was burnt. I ate about1/4 of it. I did not care for the breading. My friends had the tenderloin and a French dip sandwich. She took the French dip home for her dog as it was too tough to eat. We had a great wait staff that checked on us and gave us time to catch up with each other Since this is an old library, there is no elevator. It is necessary to walk down 20ish steps to the main dining room. No matter what shape you are in, those steps are a hazard Would I go back again? Not for lunch, maybe dinner or pizza.

Before the plates even hit the…read moretables, that rich, unmistakable aroma filled the air, the kind of comforting smell that only comes from a true scratch kitchen where real chefs handle real ingredients with absolute respect. I watched as people took their first bites. Forkfuls paused mid-air, conversations instantly ground to a halt, and eyes widened across every table. Jake Burgess and the crew from the Burgess Restaurant Group weren't just catering an event; they were executing a masterclass in craft for a crowd without taking a single shortcut. "You have got to try this," someone blurted out to my left, leaning across the table before even finishing their bite. "I'm tellin' you, Jake and his team don't miss," another replied. "Between FoxGardin, The Den, Bonge's, Carnegie's... it doesn't matter which spot it is, they nail it every single time." Taking it all in, it hit me why they stand so far apart. In a world full of safe, forgettable catering, Jake and the Burgess Restaurant Group served up the kind of deep, craveable food that ruins standard dining for the rest of us. It's the kind of cooking that makes you immediately start planning your next trip to one of their spots before you've even finished the meal in front of you. A massive, heartfelt shoutout to Jake Burgess and the entire Burgess Restaurant Group: FoxGardin Kitchen & Ale, FoxGardin Family Kitchen, The Den, Smoky's Concession Stand, Bonge's Tavern, and Carnegie's. Thank you for keeping us exceptionally well-fed last night!

Was in the area and decided to grab lunch as we often do when in a different locale…read more Noticed FoxGardin had great reviews and was very close by. We weren't going to get an appetizer but the bone marrow fries looked so good in pictures that we had to try them. They did not disappoint. Very large serving and extremely flavorful. Easily an appetizer for 4 or more people (there was only 2 of us so we brought some home). My dining partner is not normally a fries person and she loved these. For entree, my dining partner had today's special which was a shredded chicken sandwich that had a jalapeño cheese sauce and the house chips. She said it was very good and again half the sandwich came home. I had their breaded tenderloin which was very good, with nice breading to meat ratio and was a bit larger than the bun. It came with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. It came ala carte with no sides. Service was excellent, exceptionally friendly and really took care of us. One of the best waiters I've come across. Inside is a bar/pub like feel. We opted to eat in the air condition enclosed "patio" type area which had a bit more light, but was also noisy today due to the tin lined walls/ceiling and another group that was quite loud. Made it a bit hard to converse. Normally don't think this would be an issue. While not tons of items on the menu, the selection was quite varied and you could really splurge on a filet or other such dish and really go all in for a more lavish dinner or have a burger or tenderloin, all at any time of day. Parking was right in front of the restaurant but could see it being a bit tight on a busy day.

Not very many people there at the time so it was quiet. Rolls came out first. They look "wilted". They were warm but kinda seemed old, hard/stale. Food came out fairly quick. Steak was very gristly. I feel like there was more gristle than meat. Salad was good. Only one tiny cherry tomato and one small slice of cucumber in the salad. Green beans were good and it was a pretty nice portion really. I don't know if they have a new meat supplier or what has happened but I get the steak salad every time because it's the perfect amount of food for me and I can get it without cheese and croutons. And I have no worries about my allergies. Plus it is normally yummy! And perfect. I have to remind them that I want the bacon though? One server said cheese was pre-mixed with the bacon and that's why they keep forgetting it? Anyway, the steak has been chewy to the point where I don't enjoy it. Gristly I actually sent the last one back. The one before that I just set half of the steak aside after I couldn't chew it. My husband thinks I need to ask for a different cut of steak because sirloin is notoriously inconsistent cuts of meat and I just need to pay an up charge for a filet or something. Anyway, I panicked about getting a bad steak salad again last week when I was there and I ordered a burger. Who can mess up a burger I thought, right? I forgot about the bun. I think they toasted it with butter so I took it off. I still got sick though. Blast it. Why can you tell a server you are Allergic to dairy and they don't understand that butter comes from a cow!!!! I'm telling you this is my girlfriend's favorite place to meet up for girl talk so go and enjoy yourself. The atmosphere is nice. Seats are comfortable and if you linger to visit the servers are wonderful to keep filling your drink glasses. But after three bad meals in a row and getting sick after eating that burger... I'm going to talk her into going elsewhere. At least when I'm her tagalong.
