Riptide does it right, with mild flavors that accompany the seafood, rather than try to be the source of the flavor. The stuffing was a wonderful combination with the mild Flounder and the cheese sauce a marvelous pairing with the delicate Scallops, Shrimp, and Crab in my meal. Nicely prepared and presented. I'd give our meal 5 stars, but the $35 and $36 price tags detracted from what otherwise would have been an incredible evening meal. We will definitely come again.

We visit Beaver Bar multiple times during the larger motorcycle events like Bike Week and…read moreBiketoberfest annually. The establishment is open all year round; however, it's most 'happening' during those two events. It's a great spot to take a break and kick back in one of their chairs on the lawn in front of the building to enjoy an adult beverage, smoke a cigar or something more potent, and watch all the motorcycles go by. Traffic slows down here so you have an opportunity to see all the unique and custom bikes and people wearing all their wild biker garb. There are also hundreds of people walking back and forth between Iron Horse Saloon and Broken Spoke to see the big bands at each location, so you have an opportunity to see and meet a lot of cool and unique people if you're chilling here. During the larger motorcycle events motorcycle parking (in the general area) is typically $5 but you can find free spots if you know where to look. Parking for cars is usually around $20 but you can find $10 spots. Pricing fluctuates depending on how high capacity will be that evening; essentially, if Hair Ball is playing it's $20 for a car unless you arrive earlier in the day. The bar can get packed inside; they have some tables for dining-in but they are limited. There is also a nice patio in the back with more tables for dining. There is a stage for bands and there are usually bands playing all day during the big bike events. I don't think I've seen a 'bad band' here yet. I haven't eaten dinner here but we have tried their Sunday breakfast bar in the past. The buffet is $7 and it starts at 8:00am. A group of us like to go up in the morning to see the happenings here and before heading over to Broken Spoke, Iron Horse, or Teddy Morse's Harley to catch whatever early morning activities are going on. Staff is friendly, but it can be difficult getting a drink at times during peak hours. They don't have any beer stations around where you can just grab a beer and go like at main street, most people are passing through from Iron Horse to Broken Spoke and vice-versa, so they are more likely to order drinks at those two locations. There are some that might hang here for a while but they are usually waiting for an event to start somewhere else and just want to relax somewhere different for a while. It's not the cleanest place around and the bathrooms can get trashed here during large events. Honestly your best option for a restroom is the Porto potties at the Broken Spoke because they hire staff to maintain them during the events. You will find that the Porto Potties at Broken Spoke are much cleaner than the ones at Iron Horse. All-in-all, Beaver Bar is a great place to visit during the larger motorcycle events and if you're looking for a great spot to get away from the larger crowds, shop for a while, get a quick bite to eat, and relax for a few, than Beaver Bar is the place.

We've tried just about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. Our waitress was friend and attentive; making sure we were never lacking in napkins or drinks. The atmosphere was, as always, family friendly with lots of families surrounding us, and everyone seemingly having a good time. So happy to have this restaurant as our go to whenever we're hungry or just want to hang out somewhere familiar and close to home.

My wife, an interior design fan, loved the decor, but not sure how it ties to the name of the restaurant nor the names of the menu items. That aside, we went there for a family birthday and had some friends recommend it so we were really looking forward to a nice meal but sadly were severely disappointed. Please note that at before dessert was ordered the waitress did ask what we thought and this is what i told her... Service: was good early on but then weak. Bottles and glasses were not removed when new ones were served. The wrong appetizer came out. One dish had the wrong side dish. The waitress reaction to all of saying it was very cold was "really?" Sorry that should have been "ok I will see what I can do." Also note when asked what was really good she said "everything except the crab cakes." The Food: my son loved the lobster mac and cheese and it was tasty. my kokomo sliders were the saltiest thing i have ever eaten. I couldnt finish.: My daughter's jalapeno/queso burger somehow came out sweet instead of spicy. my wife's portobello burger was bland. and our wonton appetizer had no flavor at all. The brownie sundae dessert was enjoyed and the waitress reaction was "yeah we got one right." Love this place! great food and amazing atmosphere! The outside is a tiki bar set up which is wonderful in nice weather and the inside is a really cool mix between industrial construction and art displays. If you're just looking for great food, this is definitely the place, my personal suggestion would be the coconut shrimp (They're amazing!!) If you're looking for a really fun time, this is also totally the place! But I would suggest Thursday-Sunday if you're looking to meet people. It can get a little busy once it gets a little later. The other awesome thing is that even once they stop serving their full menu (Around 11) they still serve these amazing pizzas (My favorite is the white pizza) And finally, SUNDAYSS!! they have an amazing brunch buffet on Sundays, I mean seriously incredible. The Grind Gastropub is a great spot for a fun night out with friends or family. The Bison Burger and that spicy BBQ sauce is hands down one of the best I've had, and my wife loved the Fish Tacos. We were able to catch the 49ers game while we were there, and the atmosphere was great for it. Special shoutout to Brie, the bartender/waitress, who made our experience even better with her great service. The Margaritas and beer selection were also on point. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend this spot any day of the week, and twice on Sunday. read more

Our "lunch bunch" had a FANTASTIC time here. It was a bitterly cold day, but we were greeted warmly by Kevin and Riane. The "fireplace" on the screen made us feel warm and cozy. Riane served our group of 17 extremely efficiently. The service was very attentive without being intrusive. Our group chose many different items on the whimsical menu. NOT DOG FRIENDLY EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE AN OUTSIDE EATING AREA!!!!! Food is good but to be an outdoor establishment I was very disappointed when turned away with my very friendly, very well mannered dog that is always given more attention than me who pays the bill because she is so well behaved!!! The other places in Daytona said they would rather have my dog than most people's bad kids!!! Atmosphere, food and customer service are excellent. The outdoor seating at the Tiki bar is fantastic. The faux torches, pirate-caribbean look, big screen TV's, live music and heat lamps make for a fun atmosphere. The fish taco's and fries were the bomb and our waitress, Veronica, was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Would like to see a slightly bigger portion for fish tacos but taste was spot on. I have only been there for the Sunday brunch but it was excellent both times. The bottomless mimosa's with food purchase were good and the build your own screwdriver bar looked delicious. We ordered the stacks, one steak (amazing) and one salmon (equally amazing) The stacks are big enough to share although my husband managed to finish his. The bar was under construction during the time of our visit, but still had a great limited menu. I went with the Calypso Cooler, a pineapple/orange refreshing drink! They have a lot of different options for lunch, but I was feeling shrimp, and felt like I made the right choice. It was super crispy, and the fries were seasoned so well! We loved this joint! We'll definitely come back during another beach visit.

All eggs and omelettes cooked fresh to order (understandable slight wait), along with a buffet selection of bacon, sausage, french toast, biscuits, sausage gravy, a toaster with a selection of breads/muffins, jams and fresh fruit of the day. Great value for $15! Coffee is included with optional brunch drink specials from the full bar. Food items on the buffet were overall tasty, and it was well attended, clean and kept coming out fresh. Beautiful dining room and bar with opened garage doors and a few outside tables. Service was spectacular and above and beyond considering the crowd. Definitely recommend and will keep coming back as one of my new Sunday options!

I loved that you can sit in the patio overlooking the pool and the ocean when the weather allows for it. I took advantage of this a couple of times. I ate here at least once a day. All the dishes were generous in size, tasty and very well put together. Very well done Western Skillet Classic Cheeseburger Monterey Chicken Ham and Cheese Omelette Shout out to Milly and Kimberly who took care of me during my visits. They kept my drinks fresh (Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic) during my meals and checked on me frequently. If you're in the area and are looking for a solid American restaurant off the beaten bath, give Seaside Bistro and Bar a try and be pleasantly surprised like myself. Cheers!

So glad Billy's is back!!…read more This Ormond Beach staple recently reopened and we we enjoyed it so much, we dined there twice in one week. Each time I enjoyed the grouper blackened with lemon butter sauce. Amazing. My family also enjoyed the chowder, beet salad, scallop pot pie, lobster roll, and crab cake. Our servers were very attentive and helpful especially since we had a baby with us. Also the inside remodel suits the time period and is very welcoming. We're already planning to return next summer!
