They are not transparent and DO NOT care about their customers. Please be very careful about purchasing a used vehicle from them. I recently purchased a 2023 Rogue from Grossman Nissan, it was an awesome experience! When I first looked at the car, I thought it was brand new, I was surprised it was almost 2 years old, it was so clean, and still had that new car smell! I had the pleasure of working with a young salesman named Sterling Andre, he was very patient with me, and extremely non pushy salesman like. I highly recommend whether you are looking for a Nissan or Chevy ( Grossman owns both, and they are right across the street from each other ) you ask to deal with Sterling, you wont be disappointed. Sarah Kelly the sales manager was also very easy to work with, and was flexible on pricing for me, she got me to a price I was happy with. The last person I dealt with was Aaron Morello the Finance Director, he was also very pleasant, and went over options on extended warranties without being pushy, he also talked be through all the finance details, and had patience for all my questions. Lastly I also received a nice follow up email from Linda Grossman, the owner, just checking in to see if I was happy with my purchase, and if not, to reach out to her if i had any issues, sorry Linda, you will not be getting a call. Anne, Sarah and JJ were excellent. They were very accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process. They went out of their way to make sure we had all our questions answered, issues resolved and to make sure we were happy. The only reason why this is a 4 star rating as opposed to a 5 star is because the final buying process took almost 5 hours. The paperwork and information needed was not prepped in advance (as I felt it should have been). To be fair though, part of that time was me taking the vehicle for a final test drive and giving it a once over. I bought a used Nissan Rogue in July from Grossman. A couple weeks later, the hood flew open while I was driving down a hill, leaving the hood, fenders and roof very damaged. After taking it to a service center (not at Grossman), we found out that the hood latch DID NOT WORK and did not hold the hood in place, meaning nothing was preventing the hood from flying open at any time. (While we were at this service center we also found out that the windshield and rear view mirror were not the original that came with the car, and that the previous owner had to replace them for some reason. There were also a few dents in the roof when I bought the car. This made us believe that this issue with the hood happened to the previous owner as well. Grossman also told us the car had no previous accidents or damages which we now knew was a lie.) After doing some research we found that there is a recall on Nissan Altima hood latches for this exact reason. Since I had just bought the car and it was still under warranty AND there was an open recall AND we had reason to believe this issue happened on this exact car prior to me purchasing it, we brought the car to the Grossman service center thinking they would repair the damages and replace the latch. Everyone at the service center refused to help at all and said that they were not required to do anything since the warranty only covered drive train and the open recall was only for Altimas and not Rogues. It was nearly impossible to even get one of the service managers to look at the car to show them the malfunctioning latch, and when we did he admitted that the latch did not work but still said he wouldn't do anything to help. He went as far as to say that we should not even bother contacting Nissan Corporate because they won't do anything to help either. I left several messages for Linda Grossman and she did not answer a single one and refused to speak with us when we came in person to the dealership. After all of this I went to Girard Nissan in Groton and explained the issue and they were able to resolve it immediately! They contacted Nissan Corporate for us and repaired my car within a week and gave me a rental while I waited, all expenses covered by Corporate. I didn't have to do a single thing except drop it off. If you are looking to purchase a Nissan, you are SO MUCH BETTER OFF working with Girard instead. read more

While buying the vehicle went nicely after 80 miles of owning the vehicle the check engine light came on with codes PO420 and PO430 which are emissions codes for catalytic converter. Went to the dealership they scanned the vehicle and cleared the codes. Then the next 100 miles check engine light again for PO430 bring it back to the dealership and they explained that due to the age of the vehicle the estimated $1200 in parts to fix the issue on my 2 week old $14,000 purchase is not their issue. Which in my opinion is just horrible customer service and removes all my trust I dealing with Grossman as a whole. read more

This dealership is the WORST. We purchased a vehicle from them in May 2015 and were promised a replacement window visor at the time of purchase. Told for MONTHS that it was on order and that we'd be reimbursed for our inconvenience with gas cards and oil changes. Finally spoke with someone about 3 weeks ago and were then told the part was NEVER ordered but they'd place the order now and to expect a call back. No phone call, still no free oil changes or gas cards. I've left voicemails/spoken with various contacts 1-2 dozen times with no resolution and continuous lies that our concerns will be addressed. On my last attempt to resolve this told the Business Manager (via voicemail) they had 2 days to find ANY solution or I'd contact the Better Business Bureau. This was about 2 weeks ago and I'm contacting the BBB today. Wouldn't recommend Grossman Nissan to my worst enemy. read more

I can't say enough great things about this dealership. I leased my Rogue through them (with Cody, who was great!). And today, I had a tire emergency and luckily run flat tires. I called in a panic at 8am not knowing if I'd have to fix or replace the tire. Steve was so calm and explained how they patch the tire and told me to come in right away. I'm currently leasing a vehicle through here and have had awesome help from the sales people. However I purchased the oil change package with my lease and the mechanic scratched my hood when they changed the oil. I pointed it out to the manager who tried to convince me it was a rock chip. There are a few but they look nothing like it and are no where near the same size. This scratch is brand new, scratched all the way down to the metal. I'm super disappointed with the service center. Wish I didn't purchase the oil change package. Make sure to check your car before and after getting it serviced here. read more
