These guys are fabulous. I had an outside plumbing leak near a hose bib on a Friday morning. Although Guaranteed Plumbing was fully booked they were able in a short amount of time to find someone to stop by between jobs to at least stop the leak until more time was available on Monday. Derek came and was surprisingly able to completely fix the problem quickly, although he ended having to do it "live" leaving him with soaking wet trousers. Also very reasonably priced. We used Guaranteed Plumbing to service/repair our HTP water heater. Their first time out was spent troubleshooting the issue. The tech was friendly and followed Covid protocol. He listened to our issues and we told him what we had already tried on our own and history with HTP as well. During the first visit he spent almost the full time on the phone with HTP. At the end of the two hours he gave us a website and said we could order parts (he gave us part numbers and did explain going thru this website would be cost effective so we appreciated that). Once the parts arrived we were to call back for install of parts. He also said our gas line was undersized and so we called PG&E that day to come out. First appointment was $430 dollars (for troubleshooting) and our system was still not working. We had PG&E out the same day because they don't mess around when it comes to gas line issues. Interestingly PG&E said unfortunately undersized gas lines are blamed often. PG&E tested lines and pressure against recommended pressure output on the system and gave the all clear. Parts arrived and we called to schedule 2nd appointment. The same tech came out for round 2. He installed the new parts and initially the unit fired up but then glitched again. He was on the phone with HTP again (who frankly wasn't much help) and again there was mention that it still wasn't working due to the gas line. Since he was suggesting the gas line be replaced we asked for a quote for the gas line and also asked for a quote for a new system (if needed). He wrote all of this on our receipt and said we would get us an email with those quotes but that never happened. At the end of the 2nd appointment he seemed flustered and quite frankly we were too. After another $430 charge we still don't have our water heater up and running not to mention the cost of the parts we had to order. My husband called the owner and left a voicemail and no return call. After the no quote, no return phone call we decided at that point we would not have them return. By this point we have spent over $1,000 for the two appointments, and parts, and the system still isn't working. We contacted another company who came out at NO CHARGE. They did say we needed a different part all together and they explained they will charge once we get the part, they Install, and fix the issue. This new company also confirmed the gas line is NOT undersized for the unit and pressure is fine. While Guaranteed Plumbing tried (and did Install two new parts on the 2nd visit) we don't have confidence he knew exactly what he was doing with this particular system. Disappointed that in all we were charged $860.00 by Guaranteed with no fix, and no follow up. read more

They gave me an accurate quote over the phone after sending pics of the hot water heater. As a General Contractor, I have a HUGE responsibility to my clients in terms of the performance of my subcontractors, and not ONCE has Marcus and his team come up short. We've done around 50 residential and commercial projects, both large and tiny, and his team gives the same attention to detail to both. Proposals are concise, and clearly outline deliverables. If you are looking for the cheapest plumber around, these probably aren't your guys and gals. But if you want an existing problem solved, or a new construction project completed quickly and cleanly without issue, failed inspections, attitude or excuses, sign them up. We had worked with Guaranteed Plumbing several times and had good experiences, yet our most recent experience was so unbelievable unprofessional that I'm driven to write a review. We had two people from Guaranteed Plumbing come out to give us quotes on several different plumbing projects around our home. After we discussed the projects I sent measurements and pictures of the and never heard back, no response, no follow-up, no quote. I called about a week later to follow-up and left a message with Ryan about the details of my project and how I was still waiting to hear. He assured me he'd call me back, but he did not. No word. We have used Guaranteed Plumbing 3 times now. The first 2 times were great experiences. The work was completed in a timely manner and we were very happy with them. That is why we didn't hesitate to contact them a third time, I wish we hadn't. That time we dealt with Chris and we were very disappointed. The faucet that was installed was loose within one month of installation, it was a good quality Moen. At the time we were told by Chris that they are difficult to install. He tried to charge us $650 for the installation when we were quoted $300 initially. He said it is because it was a 2 man job??? When we complained, they did go back to charging what we were originally quoted, but I was left feeling like they were just trying to make extra money. Additionally, when Chris quoted us for a sewer lateral replacement the quote was $9000 more than the closest competitor (a local reputable firm). So almost double the going rate. Unfortunately we will not be back. This was all a year ago and we have found other, more reasonably priced plumbing services. read more

ABSOLUTELY the BEST of the BEST!!! My clients needed a seismic shutoff value installed on their gas meter and I just happened to be driving right behind a Guaranteed Plumbing truck .. So, I had Siri dial their number I spoke to Paul who knew exactly what I needed .. Paul got us on the calendar right away and scheduled Jon for the job .. I didn't know what size the gas meter was but Jon was so prepared that he had all the sizes in his truck including the right one!!! Jon was so professional and extremely knowledgable!!! He clearly explained what he was going to do and how long it was going to take .. After Jon was done with the install, he explained how the red bulb works and how to reset it after a big earthquake .. Nathan with Guaranteed Plumbing helped us with a really difficult situation. We had five defective pipes in the attic that was too small to fit a person. He opened holes up in our ceiling to find the problems, crawled through tiny places and just went so above and beyond. I tried to support a local business but trust me -stay clear of this place. The workers are incompetent. They overcharge you for parts. Not responsive when they try to fix something -they break it just to make money off of you. They came out to fix a minor thing and I ended up with a broken system for over a month! Complaints fall on deaf ears. There are other reputable companies around Danville that may appreciate your dollar better. Check BBB complaints also against this company. Awful service.
