Amazing food. Never disappointed Great service always helpful Clean environment well recommended First timers will love it

    Breakfast taco. Missing the meat.

I don't eat here unless I'm desperately hungry in the morning. The tacos are just okay to me. The last 2 times I've tried the breakfast tacos, I say to myself... wow I could make this myself then pay $4.50 for one breakfast taco. Today i ordered 4 tocino (bacon) and 2 weenie breakfast tacos. I don't know why it took forever to make. Can't be hard to just make bacon and heat up some hot dogs right? I open up 2 of them and they don't have any meat in them. The other ones just have literally one slice of bacon and 4 hot dogs. Jeez the disappointment. It was just a big slab of egg with some potatoes and cheese. I'll never come back for the breakfast again.

No gatekeeping here - let's TACO bout this hidden gem taco spot! @guisados is a family-owned taqueria and local Los Angeles favorite, serving up LA's first and BEST tacos de guisados crafted from their handmade tortillas and homestyle braises made fresh daily. The workers were so kind, friendly and helpful, and you can definitely tell their care for their business through their lovingly prepared food! What I tried: Taco Sampler: 6 of the cutest mini tacos with some of their most popular flavors - perfect if you're indecisive like me. Their tortillas were so soft and flavorful, and definitely among some of the best that I've had! Tamale: tasted so authentic and fresh! It had a good amount of filling and tasted like it was homemade. Would definitely order again! Ceviche: features a generous serving of fresh raw fish and a fried tortilla, which you can break off and eat like a chip. I personally thought it was a bit on the acidic side, and would definitely skip/add less tapatio and lime Also highly recommend the melon agua Fresca, which tastes like actual cantaloupe! This covered outdoor patio is located in a paid parking lot, but there's plenty of street parking and a public parking garage with first two hours free nearby!

This is the second time I have come. The first time I came, I ordered the sampler which was ok. This time around I ordered the full size tacos and they were much better. Ordered the chorizo (had a small hint of spice), steak picado, and bistec en salsa roja (my favorite of the 3.) Service window is quick, with plenty of outdoor seating, and convenient parking $3 - $6 depending on how long you are there. Hidden space in Beverly Hills, but overall a good stop if you are in the area and wanting tacos.

Absolutely loved this place! It's cute, casual, and the food is fantastic. It's tucked behind the pharmacy, right by the parking lot. My husband and I stopped by for lunch on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too busy. The service was quick, and our food came out fast. We ordered the taco sampler, which included small versions of several kinds: chicken, bistec, steak picado, tinga de pollo, chicharrón, and cochinita pibil. We also got full-sized orders of the steak tacos and the chicken mole poblano tacos -- both were excellent! I especially recommend the mole poblano and steak tacos. My husband really enjoyed the cochinita pibil, though it does have a bit of a kick. The handmade, freshly pressed tortillas were a highlight -- they really took the tacos to the next level. Their sweet corn tamale is my favorite, also very good! 10/10 would recommend! Authentic Mexican tacos with a unique touch -- totally worth it and definitely a must-try.

It was my first time here, so I ordered the sampler. Everything was really good and PACKED with flavor. The sampler has 6 mini tacos that are about 2-3 bites and a good way to try a bunch of different flavors. I wanted to try the quesadilla in the sampler, and that's the only one that was a pass for me. It was basically a piece of non-melted cheese on a tortilla lol.

    Schelly Y.

I wish more places did taco samplers like Guisados does! The 6 mini taco sampler was a great way to try a variety of their tacos and they were all so good. The quesadillas were a bit different than what I've had at other restaurants as it was more like a taco with two big hunks of melty cheese.

    What a great drink idea!

Came in for a quick bite to eat before a show down the street at the Troubadour. Everything was great. Staff was friendly and helpful, the food was made promptly and brought out to us. It was towards the end of our meal that things got interesting as I had asked for hot sauce for my taco sampler The server mentioned some super spicy taco they had. Now I can handle extreme heat (I could do Hot Ones no problem) and more often than not I'm let down by what most places consider spicy. Not this time however I knew it was gonna be good when the staff from the kitchen started to check me out after it was ordered. They were being sly but by the end of the taco I feel as if I had earned their respect, I'd give it a 7 on my heat scale - it was hot and also delicious. A great experience all around - thank you Guisados

No. What Guisados does exceptionally well is satisfy late-night taco cravings, especially after a night out of cocktails and shots. Nestled right between the bars, it's the perfect stumbling distance when the night is winding down and hunger starts making decisions for you. The tacos are flavorful, the stewed meats hit the spot, and somehow everything tastes even better when you're debating whether to go home or order one more drink. My biggest advice: get there before last call. Otherwise, expect a long line. So, is Guisados the greatest taco place on earth? Probably not. Is it exactly what I want when I'm hungry, exhausted, and looking for salvation wrapped in a tortilla? Absolutely.

Went for Happy Hour on Taco Tuesday and they had plenty of options for food, which I love. Drink specials include $8 margaritas, spicy or regular and $1 more with mazcal. For food: I got the toasta and it was presented beautiful, but the taste was a bit bland. The taco trio was $7 & looked filling for the amount of food you got. 3 small street taco sized but a lot of filling. The $10 Happy Madre Meal included a beer or a fresca and I'm glad I got the fresca. It was delicious. The meal also came with 1 bbq jackfruit slider and Chipotle garlic fries which was a decent size. The service was great and the QR code made it easy to split payment and pay without flagging the server down. The patio filled up quickly, so I suggest you go early to grab a seat and street metered parking. Overall it was a great experience.

My friend and I were a bit boozed out from the night before, so we stuck with a handful of sharable platters including California rolls and ceviche, all tasted amazing. Nothing was too heavy and the portions were all manageable, not too small or too large.
