I can not get over how nice everyone is here. This is the main thing that gets me coming back for more, is the incredible customer service! I always get my food fast and with friendly people to talk to. Everyone is very chill and it is wonderful coming in to pleasant people. The food is delicious, although, to compare its about 2/3rds the size of a chipotle burrito bowl. And about $5 more than what I would pay. So the price is what makes me not give them 5 stars. Their food is unique, fresh, and FLAVORFUL. Their salted caramel gelato is the most perfect combination of sweet, salty, and the slightest hint of smoky. Thanks to my girlfriend, who is a Yelp Elite, I was able to get the shrimp bowl 50% off. It was still $8, however. Unfortunately, she ended up with the shrimp, and I got the chicken which was free for her. The restaurant reminded me of Chipotle but with Plantains chips. Gf got a bowl with romaine lettuce that looked kind of old. She docked off a few points because of that. Mine, however, was ok. The parking spot was tight, and the area may be hard to find if you were to drive past the street without looking carefully at the intersection. There are no traffic lights, and you need to be careful when walking out since the entrance to the store is right next to a frequently driven on the road. You wish that other drivers slow down and stop for you, yet when you are in a car, you just wish to zoom pass them. Please have sympathy both as a pedestrian and as a driver behind the wheel, or something horrible definitely will happen with the narrowness of the road. read more

This is going to become one of our new "go-to" places for quick, affordable, healthy food. We got the jerk ginger pineapple bowl, the sweet soy sriracha bowl, and the ginger peanut lime bowl. All with chicken. They were VERY tasty. We really liked the sweet soy sriracha bowl with the grilled spicy chicken. Full of fresh veggies, especially if you do the 1/2 and 1/2 version. Gusto is a good lunch option when you want something quick and healthy. The only thing that I don't love is that you can't build your own bowl. They have six bowls that you can pick from and do a meat and either rice or lettuce. I've had the two different fairy free options and they've been good. Wow this place is such a good quick casual food stop - quick, unique, flavorful and healthy! The interior is industrial, with concrete floors, exposed beams, and very clean. You pick whether you want rice or salad (or like I do, half/half). Then choose your meat/veggie. I usually get chicken. Finally you choose your "style" which includes sauce and toppings that go with that sauce. My go-to is the tahini-cucumber-feta and it's delicious. Depending on which sauce/style you go with - it can completely change the flavor profile, keeping it fresh even though it's a simple concept. This is one of our favorite places to grab dinner if I'm picking something up on the way home, because it is really fast, healthy, and delicious! read more

I initially had my doubts about this restaurant when I first heard about it. In my mind, it made no sense to me how a place with such limited options can open up right down the street from a Chipotle. Oh, how wrong I was.... The fact that they have their menu as they do ensures that the service is extremely quick. I had my food and was out the door within 5 minutes of walking in! Nate, Chef Shawn, and the rest of the team have done it again with the Ponce location of Gusto. This concept deserves every bit of praise they rack up and simultaneously earn the right to grow their business by producing an incredible level of consistency -- both in product and service. The new digs are just as clean, filled with happy staff, great flavors from the same lineup of gustos (sauces/flavors), and a cozy interior. The one thing that sets this location apart is the widely open interior and patio. Plus, being it's own location and not sharing space with another business, or collection of businesses, it makes parking a breeze. I'll always be a fan of these guys and will hopefully make a habit of visiting this location on the regular. Congrats, Gusto! So glad to see your flavorful empire growing more and more. I loved this place! Super easy ordering in which you can mix and match their different options. The best part is that everything is healthy, with them only really having a brown rice option and salad and falafel. The chicken was really good too. I got laughed at by two employees for asking them to correct an order... I got home after picking up an online order to find a bowl missing all toppings, it was just rice/chicken/greens. I returned to the store to get this order corrected. When I described the issue with the order, the employees behind the counter asked if I wanted a new bowl or just the toppings added to the original bowl. I said whatever is the standard process for the store to correct an incorrect order. She then pressed me to make the decision. I said I'm uncomfortable returning orders & I just want them to give me the correct order. They chose to add toppings & have me the bowl back. I said thank you & started to leave, but then I heard two employees laughing in my direction & looking at me. I stopped, and made eye contact - they stopped laughing at that point. But it was too late for them to save face, I've never been more disrespected at a restaurant. read more

I really love this concept and I am glad they are closer to me. I always wanted to eat at the Buckhead location more, but it was in Buckhead which I avoid at all costs. Now that they've moved closer, I would like them to be even closer to me, like somewhere on Memorial close to the Blvd intersection, and I would absolutely love the fictitious location to have a drive through. I had never been to the Buckhead gusto!, but I knew this was coming in - they sure wouldn't let you forget with that map pinpoint on Ponce ;) I received a buy one get one coupon in the mail for their opening and treated my friend to lunch after she took me to a couple stores, and I was hoooooked. I love this concept so much. Think a bit like Chipotle, but with less decisions to make. I feel like it's still infinitely customizable because say you're like me and dislike cilantro, you can still keep that off and from their sheet it looks like you can sub something else in. In fact, if you hate having to make choices like I do, this place makes it pretty easy. Also it was the perfect place to bring a gluten free vegetarian friend visiting me. Though I think only two of the options were GF, that's better than any other option I could think of (which was nothing). Both times I've been so far, I've gotten the half salad, half rice bowl. I think it's perfect for what goes on top compared to one or the other. I always get chicken, even though avocado is tempting as hell, that chicken is so good. So far I've had the buffalo buttermilk blue and the chipotle mango avocado gustos, and both are really good. I don't even like blue cheese that much but I really enjoyed those toppings, they make their own buffalo sauce and it was really good. The chipotle mango one was less spicy, and the salad that went on top (corn, mango, avocado) was so awesome, I could have eaten that by itself. The flavors of everything are just so good, and everything just melds together perfectly. I'm going to keep exploring the menu as much as I don't want to because those two are so good. I also love that they give you a small bag of sweet potato chips. They are easily the best chips ever. My absolutely favorite thing though is the service here. Everyone is so nice! I've never had to throw my own stuff away because someone comes by for it fairly quickly. They also have a loyalty program linked in with your phone number, which I shouldn't have ignored the first time I went but I'm sure I'll make up for it. Nothing tasted very fresh, the chicken was chewy, and the avocado was brown and had a weird consistency. There was plenty of parking for the restaurant , which is always a plus in Atlanta. The inside had hip and modern decor and it was pretty easy to figure out where to order and pick up our food. My friend and I both ordered the chipotle mango avocado with brown rice and chicken. It was pretty delicious and was a large amount of food. Neither my friend nor I were able to finish it completely. Solid alternative to Chipotle, Fresh to Order etc. They do a unique twist on rice bowls and have many different delish flavors...One of my favorite things about Gusto is no matter which location you go to, they are courteous, quick and the food is quality. If you are looking for a quick lunch or dinner that is semi-healthy I would definitely recommend giving GUSTO a try. I hear they also do some great catering deals as well. This place rocks. Came in here once on a whim last week as I like to give places in the neighborhood a fair chance. Gusto did not disappoint! Location, parking and decor of the restaurant is great. The staff is ridiculously top notch...made me realize how basic and sad most of the service in Atlanta is. Most restaurants in the area just have that hipster staff vibe with a couldn't care less attitude but the people here are genuinely nice and seem to enjoy working here. Food was fresh, simple and yummy! I see the reviews of a few people wishing it cost less but to be fair it is a large and filling portion. On top of that you get some delicious sweet potato chips with each meal. Win-win for me. Definitely will be back and have already recommended this place to a few friends. Always a go to for me when in Decatur. Freshest ingredients. Whether you are going light w the salad base or all carbs with the rice base, it's always delicious. I like the feta and garbanzos with the spicy chicken. Keeps your meal fairly low calorie and still has an awesome flavor. The spicy chicken is also so flavorful not so spicy that you can't eat eat but just enough to make your mouth tingle. Their homemade sweet potato chips are always fresh and crispy. read more
