This restaurant is what's wrong with America. Uninspired food, with unmotivated apathetic workers. Our server ignored us while we spoke to her. We had to ask to give our order. No one ever returned to check on us. It's THE only restaurant in the Burbank airport so you have few choices. We ordered the chicken tenders because we had two babies with us and thought it would be easy to get together small pieces of chicken and fries. The fries were so over salted we couldn't even eat them. The chicken had pieces of fried breading hanging from them without any chicken in them. The mac and cheese tasted like noodles covered in mayo. I can't believe the namesake of this place is a food anything. Its a legit dive but food is amazing and they Guy Tai was very strong they don't skimp. I had the brisket tacos which were awesome and the only complaint is they were stuffed with so much brisket you have to unhinge your jaw to eat them. I wanted a trip to Flavortown; instead, I was transported to another generic burger chain with Fieri's name used as a marketing prop. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. The service was fast. There is no beer list for some reason, and the server seemed annoyed when I asked her what beers they served and proceeded to name off all the beers as if she was in a race against time. Overall impression of this place is what is to be expected from airport food, but this place is really not the time or money. Service is a hit or miss. No servers came to me when I sat down and decided not to wait so I went up to the counter to order. The menu is quite expansive and could be cut down in order to improve on food quality. I ordered the 18 hour brisket. It came with Texas toast and a side macaroni and cheese and a side of coleslaw. As the name implies, you would expect the brisket to fall apart as you shovel into your gullet. My experience was far removed from that. The cut of meat was US Choice quality of meat and left me chewing continuously. The flavor had no smoky flavors or even hint that it was prepared on a fire. Pretty sure they popped that sucker in the microwave and nuked it till a local power plant requested it to be turned off. The sides of mac'n'cheese and coleslaw sang the same tune of despair. I could make better mac'n'cheese out of a box and a microwave. The cost of the meal was $23.75 which included a bottle of water. I will not be coming back to this establishment and should save your time and money. read more

Considering this is the only restaurant in the airport, there's not much to compare it to. That being said, the service was WONDERFUL, and the veggie burger was much better than I was anticipating (I felt like the $12 price point made sense for the location.) The atmosphere doesn't feel super welcoming- all of the plates and cups are plastic and the bright fluorescent lights make the restaurant feel similar to a cafeteria. I got the nachos without brisket cause I'm vegetarian. They weren't bad. Not the best I've ever had but inoffensive and even unique since there's barbecue sauce distributed evenly among them. Really, Denny's quality would have been fine. (Been to a Denny's recently? Not bad.) This little joint in the Burbank airport is on par with a hospital cafeteria. You can stomach it. But you won't be thrilled with it, and you'll be disgusted when you get the bill. I've been going through this airport fairly frequently. Had the brisket tacos,(brisket tasted like it's a week old and dry.) had the Chicken burrito at the waitress' recommendation... and hospital quality, or maybe mall food court, at high airport prices. Horrible Service. This place is in an airport with a captive audience. Generally airport restaurants have timely service as people are usually eating before flying. I was seated right away but my waitress completely ignored me. Other servers noticed that I was there and even brought me a water and told me she would be right with me... no such luck. two additional people were seated, sat in her station and waited on and she never even swung by to say she would be right with me.
