Trattoria is located inside a casino and despite it being a weeknight where the restaurant the service was extremely slow. When we walked up there was a trio in front of us who said they had been waiting for over 10 minutes and hadn't seen a host/hostess yet even though the restaurant was almost completely empty. In our 5+ minutes standing with them we saw plenty of servers walk by and ignore the fact there was a line of people, but did not attempt to interact with us in any way. Once we were finally seated our server was pretty prompt and took our drink order. The drinks took quite a while to come out and appeared about the same time as our food, which actually came out pretty quickly. With a restaurant boasting the name of Guy Fieri (the mayor of flavor town) I had expectations that the food would really punch me in the taste buds unfortunately I found the Cajun pasta to be bland and pretty tasteless. The garlic bread with donkey sauce, however, was pretty good. Because the restaurant sits within a casino and has a celebrity name attached to it the prices as you might expect are higher than normal and unfortunately, the expectation did not live up to the price. I wanted to visit one of Guy Fieri's restaurants and was a bit reluctant to go to a casino based location, but was pleasantly surprised. My daughter and I came in on a Thursday night for dinner. Was promptly seated and served by the kind Mahdi. He had a very good understanding of the menu and was very polite. Service took a bit longer than I would have expected based on the sparse crowd, but I was in no hurry so no harm, no foul. Started out with a blood orange margarita and smoked old fashioned. Both were very good. For an appetizer we ordered the cheesy garlic bread that was served with a hot marinara. It was delicious! Daughter had the spicy penne with chicken. It was in a vodka sauce that was to die for. I had the chicken parm with spaghetti (first time I've seen pasta offered as an ADD with chicken parm) in a spicy arrabbiata sauce. My biggest complaint with pasta and/or chicken parm is not enough red sauce. That was not an issue here, and it was perfectly seasoned with plenty of it. Decided to check out Guy Fieris Trattoria while at the casino. The place is pretty cute, definitely better than I was expecting for a casino, you can forget that you're in a casino while you're there. Service was okay, not bad, not super memorable. I was glad that there was gluten free pasta, but the menu doesn't really help to figure out the best options. I got the pasta with vodka sauce and it was pretty good, but not special. My friend got the lasagna with the million layers, but was disappointed because there wasn't much sauce, and some of the noodle layers were so hard they were inedible, probably because the lack of sauce. Also disappointing to not get bread or anything, it's definitely a bit pricey and didn't feel quite worth it. So it wasn't bad, but not worth driving all the way back to have it again. read more

Kevin was a patient waiter with the six of us. Three of us hadn't been at the restaurant before and he walked us through everything and guided us from appetizers, the main course, and dessert. We never had to ask for ONE single thing the entire evening. The Ryder Garlic bread was a delicious starter and I went with the April Pork chop special. It was delicious. I had a bite of the Chicken Marsala and will try that next time. I ended with the Cannolis for dessert and that was fantastic too. Tonight we decided to eat at Trattoria's. My wife is Italian and very particular when it comes to Italian food. Needless to say she loves this place! We started with a Pappy's flight. We both enjoyed bourbon but neither one of us have ever tried any of those selections from the Weller Distillery. This evening was made extra special by Robert who made the entire event an experience instead of just a dinner. He and Kirk worked concert to ensure that all of our dining needs were met quickly and efficiently. Our food was phenomenal! The Long Shots definitely have a spicy kick to them. My lobster ravioli was great. You could taste the pieces of lobster in it. Just the right amount of Alfredo sauce. Mindy's Cajun chicken pasta was very flavorful. They were a little light on the sauce but Robert remedied it very quickly with some additional sauce from the kitchen. In addition to the flight, Mindy tried the Italian Old Fashioned which is "dangerous"!! It had tiramisu flavored cherries in it and went down very nicely. Kyle was our server and he did a great job. He checked on us frequently and made sure we had everything we needed. It was our 52 year wedding anniversary and I don't know how he knew it . We started with the meatballs as our appetizer and they were very good. Then we got the wedding soup . It was OK , not the best wedding soup I have had. There were no little meatballs just big meatballs cut in half. My main course was the lobster ravioli. It was very good the sauce was rich. My husband got the pork chops , he liked them . He said they were done and had a good grilled taste and were moist. We requested a booth so we could sit in the same side. We decided to splurge on what we thought would be a really good dinner. We ordered chicken parm and a tomahawk steak. The chicken parm was the worse I have ever had. The chicken was cut so thin you had to look for it in the spaghetti coating was bland. The tomato/speghetti sauce was heart burn in a plate very acidic with some spicy hot seasoning . Hard to detect any cheese on it as well had better chicken parm at a dinner for a third of the cost. The tomahawk was okay a little small for $98 with no sides. Upon arrival we requested a seat where we could be alone. We were seated in the back of the restaurant in a single long ROW of about 8 to 10 tables that were small enough for only couples. All tables were filled with patrons except two tables at the end of this long row. We were seated at the end table in this row with one empty table next to us. That was acceptable to us since we had a little empty space. All of the tables in this row were about 12 inches apart. Within 5 minutes, the woman that seated us seated a couple at the table right next to us which was the only table left in this row. I turned around and looked at the seating in the restaurant to see why she seated them right next to us. There was NO ONE else in the restaurant except the approximately 20 people crammed into this SINGLE ROW of tables. A little uncomfortable seating especially since we requested being alone. We ordered the 68 LAYER lasagna with garlic bread. The garlic bread was just bread with melted cheese for $12....geez!! When the lasagna arrived I cut into the middle of it to check the 68 LAYERS. The 68 LAYERS consisted of a layer of noodle with a couple SMALL pieces of meat under the noodle. I cut a couple inches further from this sample and saw the same thing...a layer of noodle and a couple of SMALL pieces of meat. I took a bite. I don't know how its possible to make DRY lasagna but this restaurant did it. The only sauce was a thin line of marinara sauce that they poured around the edge of the meal. This was a 2 LAYER lasagna at best and DRY. I'm going to rank this as the most disappointing restaurant meal I've ever eaten and I've eaten at hundreds of restaurants across the USA. Although the BUFFET that originally was in this location was mediocre, it was better than this $44 dollar meal. What a disappointment!! read more

We ate here on Jan 24, 2026. This is by far the worst meal I have had in years! I ordered the eggplant parmesan. You could not taste the eggplant at all because the breading was so thick it was falling off the eggplant not to mention that it was overcooked. I also ordered a side of pasta with alfredo sauce. The sauce tasted like a cheddar cheese blend. My husband ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese. He said the sauce tasted like tomato soup made with milk. The wedding soup was far from authentic. It was mostly broth. The traditional little meatballs were replaced with quartered larger meatballs. My carbonara was gummy and not pleasant to eat. If i had paid for the meal, it would have been sent back. My friend's chicken parm was a large portion, but again, just ok. There are so many better Italian restaurants in town. Way over priced for the quality of food. You pay fine dining prices for less than average dinners. Nothing comes with the meal, you pay separate for the salad and bread. The garlic bread is about the only thing they have going for them. The Cesar salad was borderline inedible. It lacked any flavor in the dressing and the croutons were flavorless and rubbery. The Cajun pasta was mediocre at best. It had soo much oil floating on the dish when it arrived. Service was absolutely excellent by Robert which is why this review is 3 stars and not 2. I have been there at Least Once a month everytime I visit food is very slow. Whoever the Chef is does not know how to cook Steaks to order. Sat at the table for a few minutes, finally had a server stop by and ask if she could get us water. She was very friendly. We ordered apps (the famous bread). It came out and was soggy!! There was no kick to the bread and it had way too much parm cheese on it. We ordered pasta for dinner, because you know, it is a pasta restaurant. One would think that in a restaurant that serves Pasta they would know how to cook it. My pasta was hard, dry, cold. My husbands pasta was too undercooked. I would have sent it back, but our server was no where to been seen. She didn't even bring our food out to us. Someone else did. We were never asked about desserts,, just finally saw our server after an hour of sitting and pushing the undercooked pasta around our plates. We paid and left. What is really sad is the fact that it was not busy. We have eaten at this restaurant before and the service and food was spot on! I am hesitant to go back now. We had a meal here on 7/19 and were taken care of by the lovely Emma! We got the garlic bread, both had the SPICY RIGATONI ALLA VODKA pasta (one with shrimp and one with chicken) and a bottle of red wine. The pasta was pretty good and a nice departure from the other food at the racino. Emma was an amazing server, I cannot give her enough props. We ate late due to how slammed they were (we didn't have a reservation which I highly recommend on busier nights when there's live music and races). Emma didn't rush us at all, was VERY attentive and helpful with any questions. She just genuinely had a good attitude which you don't always get, especially after how crazy busy they were! read more

Party of 4 on a Thursday, 6:15 PM. Less than 20 diners in the restaurant at that time. Hostess sat us at a booth with bare tabletop instead of table with white tablecloths. Water glasses were up side down with rims touching the table top. Tell me how that table top was cleaned. Hostess returns 3 minutes later to fill water glasses from a carafe of water. She grabs my glass with all five of her fingers around the rim of the glass. She fill the glass and again with all five of her fingers on the rim returns the glass to me. I told her that is not the proper way to handle the glass. She was surprised I would mention that and did not apologize or offer to get another glass. Ten minutes later the server finally appeared. Two people in the group ordered a glass of soda and a glass of wine. We also placed our dinner orders. No app or salad, just entrees. Ten minutes later the soda arrives. She tells the person that ordered the wine that that variety is only available by purchasing a bottle. That was way too much time to return and inform us about the wine. In fact, she should have known that. Everything on the menu is ala carte. Bread, apps, salads, entrees, sides, dessert: all separate. The meal could come to $100 per person, not including drinks. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. It was good, a little spicy but not overpowering. Another person had the chicken piccata. It was good, but just two pieces of meat. Nothing else on the plate. Anything else is extra. Service was very slow. It was two hours in total time there. Like I mentioned, not many others in the place. It was a very thin plank of egg plant extremely breaded,more breading than egg plant.It was over fried,dry and the edges were hard.It had little to no sauce.I asked for extra sauce.It wasn't good because the garlic in it was bitter from being scorched.I told the waiter my concerns and had only eaten about 20% of the meal.He did not offer to get the manager. Good morning, Fellow Yelpers! Yesterday, 09/08/24, we had the pleasure of dining at Guy Fieri's Trattoria located at Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs Casino. The restaurant opened for service at 4 pm, and we arrived at 3:45 pm. After taking a quick lap around the casino to admire the flashing lights of the slot machines, we returned to find a line had formed in the 15 minutes we were gone. A host appeared and asked if anyone in the line had reservations. It turned out that about 80% of the line had reservations. When we finally reached the front, the hostess asked if we had a reservation, and I replied that we did not. She informed us that the soonest available table was at 4:45 pm. I asked if we could sit at the bar, and with a laugh, she welcomed us right in. We found two seats at the bar, where the bartender did his best to keep up with the influx of guests. We tipped him well for his efforts. However, the general manager seemed more disengaged, only paying attention to a couple directly in his line of sight. Despite the operational hiccups, I was generally pleased with the experience. We ordered the Assassin Spaghetti, garlic cheese breadsticks, Cajun Chicken Alfredo, and a bottle of Cecchi Toscana Sangiovese from Tuscany. We had been wanting to try your restaurant and finally got "2 free appetizers" so we decided to try it. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. First we received our entrees long before our appetizers. The food was cold. The bread was not even toasted on the "grilled cheese parm" and the chicken was so bad we fed it to our dog and he didn't eat it. I ordered a Caesar Salad which came out with no dressing. We had to argue with the manager and server that there is literally no dressing on it and they wanted to charge us for the dressing. The meatballs were cold. The water on the table was warm and when we ran out of it, we never received any more. The meal was $66.00 and we work hard for our money so to see that much wasted and we were still hungry is such a disappointment. The part that I found most disappointing was the chicken marsala which was very good HOWEVER... with a $30+ price tag my expectation is that a pasta of some sort would be included. It was not! Had an early dinner tonite with a party of 7. We were seated promptly. We started with an order of garlic bread with cheese and 2 sauces which was really good. Several had a salad which was great and good-sized. For entrees, several had the spaghetti and meatballs, several had lasagna, one had the spicy rigatini a la vodka. and I had chicken marsala and a side of garlic mashed potatoes.. All were generously sized and terrific. My wife had peach ginger sangria which she really liked. We were all so full that no one had room for dessert. Service by Alivia was friendly and attentive. It was a birthday celebration and wife loves Italian. The food was too spicy. We asked for bread when the pasta came and were advised that there was a 6 dollar charge?? Then, when the bill came the waiter advised oh, it's your birthday I can give you a slice of cake. We refused the cake. We were so excited to try this restaurant because we have been at other guy Fieri restaurants in Vegas and Cherokee, nc, which we would recommend but this restaurant we would not recommend because of service and spicy and we avoided the dishes that were marked spicy. read more

Less than 24 hours before our reservation time, an email was sent to us stating we had to agree to spend a minimum of $450 collectively and pay a 20% tip which we have no issue with the tip amount. If you were disappointed with this place it's because you have never eaten anything other than McDonald's. Most nice eating establishments do not offer sides for free. Everything is ala carte. The lasagna is the winner here and it is enough for two people to eat. The salads are great. We sat at the bar and it was a busy Saturday night but we still had great service. You wouldn't know you were inside a casino when you are in to dine. Feels authentic casual Italian. My husband and I tried out this restaurant last week on a Friday. We had reservations for 4:15. Front end hostess staff seemed a bit disorganized and not overly welcoming. We were seated at a VERY SMALL table near the front of the restaurant. We ordered the tomahawk steak for two and each got a side. The food was good, but it didn't all fit very comfortably on our tiny table. Since we were seated near the front of the restaurant, the noise level from the casino prohibited us having much conversation since we could barely hear each other from across the table. Waitress was good. Although the food was good, we probably won't be back anytime soon simply because of the poor experience we had with the atmosphere (noise and tiny table). read more
