We are a middle aged couple, and sometimes when we have the kids with us we review from that perspective as well. Ok where do I start? Everything was good!! I got the tom kah soup and it was very good. The summer rolls with peanut sauce also very good! The place inside is a little run down but it's a snow / ski town so I am sure they deal with a lot of melting snow on shoes when people come in. I felt like we walked in through someone's garage to get in lol. However, my Togo order was right, the food and prices were great, and they were open late (for Lincoln lol) 9pm. Just know if your passing through it's pitch dark by 5 pm in the winter.

I will start with all of the positives. The restaurant was relatively clean. It was empty. We went…read moreat 1pm on a Monday in a ski town so not an unlikely scenario. There were great meal options. We got pot stickers appetizer, pad zee ew, and the pineapple fried rice with chicken. It came out quickly. It was hot and delicious the only thing I would comment is that there was a significant amount of egg in pad zee ew. As far as the restaurant itself it was quaint but uncomfortably cold. The thermostat showed 61 degrees. You could feel it. Also, some attention could be used in the women's restroom where when I turned the faucet to turn on the water the entire structure came up off the floor.

Somebody then comes out and turns over the menu item like Vanna White! And the customers moan. That was fun to watch!!! We waited about 45 minutes but it was worth the wait! We ordered Beef Stew. Caesar salad Hand cut fries Cheddar Brocoli Soup. The Soup could use more Cheddar in it. We will Definitely be back again next time!

I had read reviews online and they were all great, and I have to say - they were spot on! The place was interesting - you walk in and you aren't sure you're in the right place lol. You first walk into a storage/garage area of sorts. But once you see the sign and make your way up the stairs you find the restaurant. This place was great for families. They have picnic tables and some are bigger than others - which was perfect since it allowed our group of 7 to fit comfortably at one table together. They had games you could use while you waited for your food. And lots of kid friendly food options. The food was very good as well. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the ramen and it was delicious. It may even be the best ramen I've ever had! If you are in the area and looking for a quick place to stop in and eat - I'd definitely recommend it!

Saturday night is date night for us. We live an hour from here and had eaten here a long time ago…read more As we live in a smaller town, most of our dinner dates are local places where we seldom even have to look at the menu to know what we want. Tonight, I was in the mood to try somewhere else and suggested we eat here. We are both so grateful we decided to drive to Lincoln. The drive across the Kancamagus makes it an enjoyable drive to get there and home.. Now onto dinner. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs, and even helped when we had questions, as they know their dishes well. My wife chose the Burrata Chicken dish , and was very happy with her choice. For me, I chose The Sweet Corn, Bacon Ravioli ..This meal was so flavorful and was beyond what I was expecting. As we took 1/2 our meals home and a load of their bread, this meal was one of the better meals we've had and yet, the price for this dinner was about the same as we'd spend most anywhere else.

The food is excellent - comfort food done right. A nice menu with great variety and a specials daily menu. Paired with excellent service, Common Man makes for a wonderful dining experience on all fronts. Looking forward to taking another trip there.

I like to try to support small businesses so I will say that the people in line seemed pretty intent on getting their coffee, but I was super bummed to not return back to our group with a (vegan) fruit pie. I Yelped this place (keep those reviews coming kids) and thought maybe I'd try to grab a savory chicken pot pie hand pie or something to tide me over. I didn't realize the pot pies were like dinner size lmao so I had to regroup. They had blueberry pie!! Now this is not remarkable in itself but all I wanted for my bday was to go to Acadia and have a lobster roll and blueberry pie on the big day and I had to change my plans for the SECOND year in a row. So in the words of Denzel I said to myself, "I'm leaving here with something." So I got a maple latte - lord. This is probably my fave coffee flavor - and a small blueberry pie for myself. There's a scene in the Colin Firth version of Pride and Prejudice where Mariah Lucas is panicking over how to pack her trunk based on what busybody Lady Catherine DeBerg advised her. Here comes Lizzy Bennett, "Mariah those are your trunks. You pack them the way you want." OK well Amanda G this is your pie and if you want to eat a pie for lunch in your car then you do it. And did. 20/10. Did do again. The next day. With an apple cinnamon muffin and a maple latte.
