The sticker found inside the wrap

This was our first time going here, we decided to order a Gyro Wrap for takeout. At first the taste and presentation was decent, but halfway through the first half we found a lemon sticker inside our wrap... not sure how that even got in there because our wrap didn't include lemon. Possibly poor cleaning station or cross contamination... either way, ruined our dinner.

This place is a great solid greek food spot! Small but cute and food packed with immense flavors. we got two salads: the Greek Salad and Arugula Salad. The first thing i will say is i was disappointed to have gotten the chicken with my order as literally 5 bites of chicken as you can see in the pictures, were $6!!! i felt like i was biting pieces of an olympic medalist chicken. The pita was very very tasty with the hummus dip being extremely creamy. the salad came with a side of dressing, but for my people who like their salad extra saucy, you may have to ask for a second sauce as I did because it was dry before it. The salads were packed with flavor and a joy to eat as a meal overall!

    Nice smooth lamb platter. Flavorful.

Picture has pita station which is the place I was trying to order from but ended up going this place. The fries are soggy and bland. The pork gyros are really tough to chew. Nothing like the Pita Station in Manhasset.

I'll preface by saying I really wanted Pita Station to succeed. God knows glen head needs some more variety in the culinary department. Ordered from here five times, and five times my order was wrong. I know, I know... "Fool me once", but the owner reached out to me through yelp several times to excuse them and keep trying and despite him coming off rather smug, keep trying I did. Every single time, my order is wrong. There is simply NO way that this is only happening to me, I mean, even a broken watch is right twice a day!! I would like to say the food is good, and several menu items are, but overall I'd say mediocre would be a better assessment. Certainly not good enough to forgive the repeated incompetence. Sadly, I'm going back to ordering from Roslyn, very done with pita station. Update in response to owners comments (1/27/15)- your complete lack of understanding of my complaints equates perfectly to the consistent missing/incorrect orders- it's quite clear you just don't get it. Never once did I complain about the temperature of the food(must be confusing me with another unsatisfied customer) . Missing feta cheese on salads and them coming consistently without dressing... You betcha! How does one eat a Greek salad without either of those items? Never once did you offer to send a new salad, or replace the items, You constantly sent messages through here to me and I took the time to respond each and every time. You kept telling me to "try again" and you'd "improve". You haven't.

fallafel with hummus. I ate 2 out of the 5 fallafel so far lol.

Easily the best gyro I've ever had. Very unique for something that tastes the same everywhere else. Nice little place with quick service.

My wife had been to Gallagher's Pub in Sea Cliff the previous night with her girlfriends and thought they had great food. We walked in to a quaint Irish pub and were greeted by Marcus. He smiled and remembered my wife from the night before. We sat down and viewed the menu. Nice selection of food and drinks. We ordered some drinks. My wife had a soda and I had Smithwick beer. A good Irish ale. We decided on the French onion soup. It was served hot and was delicious! We ate and talked and some of our friends came in and visited with them. Good times. My wife was full after the soup , so she ordered some French fries. I ordered a buffalo chicken burger with onion rings. I thought I try something different the chicken burger was great and the onion rings were perfect. We enjoy our meal and visiting with our friends. Marcus gave us a tray for our leftover with a note on the cover. See the photos. It seems Marcus adds a special note to his customers. This was a nice and unexpected surprise. We enjoyed our time at Gallagher's. The wait service was excellent, the food was great and the atmosphere was friendly. I strongly recommend Gallagher's Pub. If you're in Sea Cliff on the north shore of Long Island stop by Gallagher's for a drink and some great food. Travel safe and keep healthy. All the best to you all.

The compote was excellent I didn't need the syrup but it was a nice to have just in case. The service was also great! We had a trainee and she was very nice and helpful (even if she was new). I believe management also came around to check on everything but with nothing to complain about it was a quick chat. We were able to sit outside to enjoy the weather which is a nice bonus. The inside is a bit dark in ambiance but it does have a wonderful mood setting for a dinner or an event. Speaking of events, we had a wedding dinner here earlier this month and everything was beyond perfect from the staff, drinks, and food. Everyone had a wonderful time and I couldn't thank them enough! This will definitely become a go to spot.

Our group of 7 had reservations for 7:00pm a couple of Fridays ago. When we arrived, we pulled up…read moreto the valet, handed him our keys, and walked in right on time. We were seated immediately in the room toward the back left corner where we were the only table occupying the space. In fact, as the evening progressed, no other diners/groups were seated back there, which was nice. We observed that although it was a Friday evening at prime dinner hour, the restaurant never got too full nor was the bar area buzzing. Again, it was nice that it wasn't so hectic in there, but we noted that as curious for a spot like this, on a Friday evening, and when the weather was pleasant. Starting with a high point: our server was really good. He was a very nice young man who let us know at the end of our meal that it was actually his first day on the job. While we could tell he didn't know everything about the menu - which is totally understandable given him being a new hire - he was kind, personable, and went above and beyond to provide excellent and timely service. As for the venue, it was nice although not upscale and that was just our speed for this evening. We loved having the room to sit comfortably at a setup that could comfortably seat 8. As for the food, it was decent although I wouldn't call anything I tasted fantastic. For apps, we shared 2 orders apiece of calamari, crab cakes, and lamb chops (6 apps total) with the chops being my favorite out of those. The calamari were small and didn't pack a lot of flavor but they were fried well. The marinara sauce that came with it was also fine but not remarkable. The crab cakes were a little mushy for our liking. For my entrée, I ordered the Lobster Rigatoni. There was plenty of lobster on top, the portion was more than solid, and it came out at the right temperature but the flavor again failed to really impress and was somewhere between "fine" to "good". For dessert, I ordered the chocolate lava cake, and I was truly disappointed by that. For starters, there was no gooey "lava" as the name implied, and the edges were dry and seemed overcooked. The flavor again fell a little flat and I didn't bother to finish it even though I am usually a huge fan of chocolate desserts. All in all, we had an enjoyable evening as a crew, but the food could be elevated a bit from a flavor standpoint. I would give the food a little better than a "3" but I think they have enough going for them that amping up the flavors could do wonders for their desirability and drawing more diners.
