Gyro Bowl with lamb, Greek salad, and grilled veggies. Loved the generous portion and olive oil.

Excellent lunch spot. Went with Gyro Bowl with lamb, Greek salad, and grilled veggies. Loved the generous portion on the gyro meat and high quality olive oil and ingredients. Will be coming back. It's super cool the owner takes your order, cooks the food, and serves it up. Impressive!

Gem of a restaurant in a strip mall off of Miramar. I can see why it's rated high by fellow Yelpers. My gyro was fantastic with the meat being the star. I could pass on the home cut fries...a bit over fried and over salted for my liking, but I could see how others might like it. Can't wait to try more dishes in the future.

Hands down the BEST Gyro I've had the pleasure of eating! The beef and lamb meat is tender, juicy, and flavorful with the perfect amount of crisp off the grill. The owner greets you with a genuine smile and make his food with love. I just wish there was a location near Huntington Beach!

Really enjoyed my gyro, along with fire feta. Can tell the people there care about the food and take care when preparing and serving it. They were ready to answer any questions and recommend sauces for the gyro. They seem to have recently raised their prices some. Parking is easy, there are plenty of spots.

Needed a quick meal and seeing all the people eating outside made me want to try. Ordered the chickrn gyro and added fries. It was stuffed to the brim! Chicken was so flavorful and the sauce was delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are 2 tables for outdoor seating but it looks like most of the patrons do carryout.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Go here if you're craving a gyro, this place hit the spot! The beef/lamb gyro is meaty here and instead of thin slices is cut into chunks and grilled so there is a bit of crisp on the edges. It's seasoned well and good size portion. The owner was nice and made my gyro pretty quick. Definitely better and more authentic than kabob shop, support local businesses.

The baked garbanzo side was nice

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The place has more of a quick lunch feel to it, but the prices are restaurant seating level.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Got the souvlaki with 2 sides with two chicken skewers - This is 22 bucks and with tax and tip this is almost sit down dinner price for the amount of food but in a lunch type quick eat setting with no proper restaurant seating. So i'm going to knock one star for that. This might be a personal taste/cuisine specific thing, but i like kababs to have more marinate/flavor - like middle eastern/Afghan/Pakistani/Indian ones usually do. The kebab was moist, had seasoning and had a good cook but i wouldn't like eating this kabab just by itself without a sauce or a dip. But I cant fault a cuisine for probably being authentic and not like other cuisines as per my taste. So wont knock a star for it. I will probably return to this place to give the other meats/dishes a try because it was more promising compared to other greek food ive eaten in San Diego. The grilled veggie sides were perfect and the baked garbanzo beans side was also delicious - dunked the kebab in the sauce to enjoy it more.

I was really excited to order from this restaurant that my friends and I visit frequently. It used to be a reliable place to get delicious Greek food at a very affordable price. Unfortunately I visited today and they've almost doubled the price of the food. Fortunately the food is still delicious but a salad with protein should not cost $41. What this means is that I will unlikely be coming back unless they revisit the recent price changes to their menu simply because it is an affordable place to eat anymore. I understand the rise of cost of goods and services lately but this seems like a very abrupt change in price that was not communicated we

    Hummus and Gyro Plate
    Kiana S.

I was feeling a little frisky and ordered the hummus and pita for an appetizer and the gyro plate with a side of rice and french fries for my main course. The hummus is a garlic hummus, I believe, either way-- they give a pretty good amount as well as pita bread and I've been eating at it for the last few days. It's so delicious! The serving size for the gyro plate could have fed me for 3 days and 3 nights. Just kidding, but it was a good amount for two large meals for myself. I don't normally like thick cut potatoes but they were generously seasoned! I was having a bad day, and came in relatively early (around 10am) but the man who served me was so kind and patient with me. I will definitely be coming back :-)

They tasted very freshly cooked just as they would as if I had cooked them myself at home. I was there about 1245 on a Monday and there were a few people there and they had some takeout orders so my order took about 10 minutes before I could walk out the door with it. They had a nice condiment bar where you could pick out some yogurt with dill sauce and then they're famous garlic yogurt sauce, as well as a jalapeño sauce And another spicy hot one that I would never try. When I got back to the jury room to eat my meal, I saw that there was a nice quantity of the fresh salad and the grilled vegetables but the meat was piled high! The chicken shawarma pizza stole the show out of the appetizers. It had so much flavor, and the cheese was amazing. That cheese stretched like it was in a commercial. I wish I had ordered two! For my entrées, I ordered the lamb and chicken kabobs with a side of fries. This plate was unbelievably tender. The center of the lamb was perfectly cooked with a beautiful pink center, and I love a hot pink center. Makes my mouth water. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the rice.
