Lulu Box Sando (S/E/C) - 3 Sampler Boxes
    Jennifer J.

Had the Lulu's 3 sandwich sampler and was able to share it between my husband, son and I. For the price, it was good. It costs $44.99. The sandwich bread was of high quality and very thick. Toasted to perfection. Both the egg and steak sandos were delicious but the one sandwich that really surprised me was the chicken katsu! The sauce in the squeeze tube is really tasty! Herbaceous, slightly tangy and savory. Almost like Vietnamese nuoc cham (fish dipping sauce) but no fish sauce is involved at least not what I've noticed. I even asked one of the workers if there's a certain ingredient in the sauce, he obviously couldn't tell me but said it's their signature homemade sauce that's typically a Japanese bbq sauce. I'll respect that. Service was polite and attentive they even cleaned up our trays! Decor was sharp and modern. They even have bidets in their restrooms! The toilet was a bit low flow, though... had to wait and flush multiple times and I just went #1, ok?... A tiny little gripe- I wish they put a bit more filling in the chicken katsu sando, seemed a bit skimpy. Other than that, delicious food and great service.

Gyu plus has two locations and I went to this one as the chinatown location the day before was packed. Guy plus specializes in sandos and this location offers rice bowls. Inside it's very clean and service is friendly. All the dishes were served in to go containers whether you ate in or got to go. Overall, the sandos were just okay - nothing too special in my opinion. This location also had some items from their sister restaurant moignet which was nice.

This was an ultimate BUSSSS!!! The food here especially the Lulu Sando is a must if you have three people or just wanna have 9 sandwiches to yourself because you get to try three different Japan style sando's. Definitely fell in love with the food here and the service was great. The service was very positive and the staff was just very pleasant to talk to. I definitely will be thinking about this for a while when I head back to SoCal.

Went for a late dinner because was craving a steak rice veggie bowl. The interior is very cool and cozy, not a big place there are like 4 tables. There's plenty of parking out front. We wanted to try this spot because we saw their sandwiches online, but instead got rice bowls! A friend and I were both craving rice bowls for some reason we asian, so my friend got the pork belly rice bowl and I got the chef's rice bowl. My friend said her bowl was a bit on the spicy side though. She also got an iced tea with a cup of ice. Mine came out first and it was perfectly cooked had tender beef and vegetables. If this yummy beef is on the sandos, it has got to be really tasty. My red meat craving was satisfied, just wish there was more of it! I demolished that bowl anyway. No leftovers. Service was friendly, the girl at counter greeted us, took our orders, and the food was ready quickly. Service and food quality is great, even if it is a bit on the pricey end. We'll have to come back to try the sandwiches.

The gentleman working the counter on 03/26 was AMAZING. He was incredibly helpful and genuinely happy to be there, which made the whole experience even better. I loved how he took the time to show us the sandos and give recommendations on what to order. He even came by our table multiple times to check on us, asked how we liked the food, and if we wanted desserts. Such a sweet guy, he truly deserves a raise! The environment was super clean and we absolutely loved the mural. It added a really fun touch to the space. What we ordered: STEAK SANDO: $23.99 1/2 lb beef filet, onion jam, secret sauce, shokupan bread. - The bread was soft, pillowy, and perfect. The steak was thick, juicy, and full of flavor. I LOVE how the steak is cooked med-rare. The onion jam added a really nice sweetness that balanced everything out beautifully. EGG SANDO: $11.99 Diced jidori eggs, mayonnaise, secret sauce, shokupan bread. - Simple, but done perfectly. The eggs were cooked just right and paired so well with the soft, fluffy bread. TOGARASHI POTATO CHIPS: $5.99 - Super addicting and packed with flavor. We finished the entire box in one sitting! CHEF'S BOX: $25.99 Japanese wagyu and American beef filet, koshihikari white rice, shiitake mushroom, red onions, yakiniku and shiro miso sauce. - The cuts of wagyu and filet were thick and tender. The rice was seasoned perfectly, and the mushrooms and carrots added a nice freshness that balanced out the richness of the meat. Sparkling Yuzu & Yuzu Blackberry Tea: - Both drinks were super refreshing, and I loved that the yuzu blackberry tea is made locally here in Las Vegas. Highly recommend, if you love Japanese Sando! Great food and awesome services!

An amazing new adventure today at a Japanese sando shop, GYU Plus in Vegas. The concept is interesting and I've not seen this before. Your order Japanese bowls or 3 half sandwiches, no crust, perfectly toasted inner bread with pipettes of sauce to infused into the sando. The staff is enthusiastic about discussing the concept and helping you order. The restaurant is small but stuffed full of patrons, all smiling. We ordered the egg sandwich with diced jidori fluffy eggs, mayo, secret sauce and a crust- less white airy toast. They recommended the togarashi chips for additional flavor and the salt. It seems simple, was delicious and a welcomed surprise. The spicy chicken Katso sando with lightly dusted panko crust, spicy mayo cabbage, pickled carrots, tokatsu sauce on a fluffy white toasted bread. The spice was just right, crispy chicken and again, the pipette of sauce sealed the deal. While we were waiting in line, I asked a couple what did they order and he said don't order the trio of three half sandwiches (9 half sandwiches) as it was to much food. He insisted that I try a shrimp sando that they were not going to eat and it was equally delicious. A very kind jester and opportunity to try another sando combination. GYU Plus is an interesting twist on a simple but flavorful Japanese sandwich. Tasty, light and flavor packed made this a great choice for a quick lunch. The wait staff was lovely and extremely helpful. I did feel guilty eating a sandwich with no crust as that would never flown in our house as kids. Great job GYU Plus and we will definitely return.

Lulu box with steak, shrimp, and egg sandos

Really delicious. Me and my finance ordered the lulu box and substituted the chicken with the shrimp and we're not disappointed. We also got the togarashi chips which were bomb. Org. But they do have a bit of a kick so be warned. We love spice so it wasn't an issue for us. Great service, great food. Highly recommend.

This place is a hidden gem! We had a craving of something different when we were in Las Vegas and we found this place last minute. It did not disappoint! The please is fairly small with just one long community table and the kitchen is right infront of it so you can see how they work their magic. When we go back to LV we will definitely visit again!

GYU Plus seriously impressed me. If you're into Japanese-style sandos, this place is a must-try. I ordered the steak sando, spicy chicken katsu sando, egg salad sando, & the togarashi potato chips. My favorite was the steak sando! It was rich, tender, & perfectly cooked (medium rare). The secret sauce that came with it was a perfect complement & gave it such good flavor, along with the onion jam. The spicy chicken katsu sando had the perfect crunch with just the right amount of heat. The egg salad sando was simple but creamy & delicious! The only thing I'll pass on next time is the togarashi chips. Although the chips were a nice side to the sandos, it wasn't anything special. Everything tasted fresh & thoughtfully prepared, & the portions were super satisfying. I'll definitely be back!

This GYU+ is the 2nd location and just opened! We love the egg sandos here and you definitely get a good product for the money. We always enjoy the service and this new location is no different. Of course since this place is a new, it's fresh and clean inside. Can't wait for more of these locations!

Tried the "Lulu sando box" and overall it was decent. The food was fine and well-presented. It's solid if you're in the area and want a quick bite. The service was good and restaurant overall was very nice.

Thought the staff were really nice and friendly! The shrimp sando was delicious with lots of flavor. Server recommended we eat the egg salad first because it is a much simpler taste and he was right. If you get the egg salad eat it first, could have used some salt and pepper for me but I think the texture was great. A little too plain. But the shrimp was fantastic! Would order again.

First off, the nigiri deserves a shoutout--the fish-to-rice ratio was on point. Each piece had a generous cut of fresh fish without overwhelming the rice, which made every bite feel balanced and satisfying. You can tell they pay attention to the details. We also tried a few hot dishes, and they didn't disappoint. The karaage came out crispy on the outside and juicy inside, perfectly seasoned without being too heavy. The salmon steak was another standout--flavorful, tender, and cooked just right. Same goes for the beef short rib, which was rich, well-marinated, and fell apart with every bite. Service was just as solid as the food. Our server was attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing smoothly without hovering--always a plus. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the value. Their weekday lunch special (until 4pm) is a great deal for the quality you're getting, and if you're out late, the $19 late-night special after 10pm is hard to beat. Overall, Mr. Shota is a spot I'd definitely come back to--whether it's for a casual lunch, a solid dinner, or a late-night bite. Great food, great service, and even better pricing.

Service was friendly overall, and the staff was nice, but because it got busy the service also felt pretty slow. We were a group of three and didn't want to over order, so we were putting in smaller rounds of food at a time instead of loading the table all at once. The downside was that servers didn't come around often enough for us to really order as much as we normally would at AYCE sushi. As for the food... it was just okay. Nothing was terrible, but nothing really stood out either. The quality honestly didn't match the price point for me. At $34.95, I expect a little more, especially when there are other sushi spots charging around the same amount with noticeably fresher and better quality food. The rolls I ordered did come out fresh, so no complaints there, and the egg rolls were actually pretty good. I randomly ordered french fries for fun and they came out hot and fresh, which was nice, but they had almost no flavor.
