We checked out this unique Japanese-Italian fusion restaurant located in Chinatown, and it did not disappoint! We started with the Bruschetta Nakamura, featuring six pieces topped with tuna and spicy cod roe, avocado and wasabi, and anchovy oil with mozzarella. A creative and delicious combination of flavors. For our entrées, I ordered the seabass, while the mister enjoyed the linguini in tomato cream sauce with scallops. Both dishes were excellent and beautifully prepared. To finish, we shared the panna cotta with sesame, which was the perfect ending to the meal. Every dish was flavorful and well-executed. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in town!

It's Italian. It's Japanese It's both! When these 2 cuisines combine, you get a warm gorgeous combination that's delicious to the palette. It's a small restaurant that seems to have been awhile. In a busy complex, it doesn't stand out but the food does. We arrived a bit early for our reservation and it was not a problem, we were quickly sat. we've never been here so took a bit to look thru the menu, specials of the day plus the list of their popular dishes. When we finally decided, each dish quickly came out and as I was facing the kitchen, you can see it's made to order. I can have the soft shell crab order a few more times. It was perfect, soft and the vinaigrette and kale salad were perfect compliments. The scallops uni cream pasta, perfection. I had some garlic bread left over and loved it with the sauce from this dish. Order a glass of Chianti, such a nice compliment to the meal. There was a main waiter and a support. Both were so attentive and made sure we enjoyed our meal without much wait. We were nicely greeted on the way in and also on the way out. Nice gesture and recognized by the chefs and staff

My boyfriend and I went here because he knows I love Japanese and Italian so this was honestly the perfect place. Everything we had was so good! The service here was also amazing! The inside was so homey and intimate I loved it, I will definitely give this place another go to try their other menu items

Food: I had a miso salad, three piece bruschetta. 1. Anchovy oil with fresh mozzarella, octopus, avocado with wasabi mayo and tuna and spicy cod roe. Main dish the shrimp scampi with mushroom cream sauce. I was looking for something light and delicious. I choose right ! So well done and I felt like every bite I was getting lighter and lighter? I could not stop. I usually get full easier now a days but not at this place ! Service: the gentlemen was enthusiastic and friendly. Made great eye contact. I came when it opened. No reservation needed on a Thursday. Ambiance: had the similar vibes like a classic Italian spot but with Japanese specials on the their white board. They do have a tv for sports. I see some awards and famous people they have served here. This place is very small. This place houses only 24 seats. Get those rezzos if you are coming later tonight ! Parking can get very very tricky here at night. There's a plaza across the street that you can get parking. A bit of a walk though. Recommendation: of course !

My husband made a reservation for dinner, party of three. Parking can be found at the parking lot. It was already a full house when we walked in. So be sure to make a reservation if you're coming. Our table ordered: Soft shell crabs Green mussel 3 ways escagot style Bruschetta Nakamura-ya style Risotto Uni with Uni Tomato Cream Sauce Kinoko Meat Cream, linguine Uni Tomato Cream, linguine, Add scallop Bread (comes with pasta orders) Alcohol I loved the Green mussel 3 ways escagot style, the one with orange sauce. It might be the sweet miso or spicy cod roe. Overall great service and good food. I'd recommend this restaurant for a date night and small groups. Not so much for a big party.

Cozy Japanese style Italian restaurant tucked away in Chinatown. We ordered the sushi platter, the wagyu beef & kohaku pork hamburg steak and the fettuccine with premium uni tomato cream sauce. Comforting meal and amazing service!

I saw this place on yelp and I'm always looking for a good mentaiko pasta. Foods tried: - Bruschetta Nakamura-ya (3pc) - Mille-Feuille Style Tonkatsu - Spaghetti Mentaiko Carbonara Honestly not the best place I've tried and the high prices and portions didn't help either. For the bruschetta, our favorite was the avocado with wasabi mayo. The tuna just tasted like canned tuna and the anchovy one had good flavor, but was super oily with the use of oil and cheese. The tonkatsu was a basic tonkatsu, nothing that special. I was looking forward to the pasta, however it didn't have much mentaiko flavor and the sauce was quite soupy so it didn't stick to the pasta. The server was kind and attentive during our dinner, but food-wise it wasn't the best choice.

Service was top notch, super attentive. They were super fast, accurate and friendly. Food was amazing, definitely hits the Japan craving and the Japanese quality. However unlike Japan, the pricing is quite steep. There was complimentary hot bread as well. We got the takoyaki, fettuccine squid ink with add on uni, fettuccine tomato uni cream with add on scallops. Takoyaki was crispy in the outside and soft and fluffy in the inside. Fettuccine squid ink with uni was very and savory. Nice basil kick, and I would highly recommend. However, be sure to check your smile. Your teeth will be black. All in all, I would definitely still order this again My absolute favorite was the tomato cream. The scallop was tender and tasty. The cream sauce had uni in it and it was amazing

Nice Japanese style restaurant with Al dente noodles, just like in Tokyo. We had: * beef carpaccio * Spaghetti Wafu Kurobuta Sausage & "Kinoko" Japanese mushrooms, white onion and seaweed, Japanese-style soy sauce * Linguine with Premium Uni in Tomato Cream sauce And then finished off with the Soy Milk Panna Cotta. All the food was great. Some plates were Pricy but surprisingly the spaghetti with sausage and mushroom was very reasonably priced, tasty, and filling. We will come back to try other parts of the menu for sure.

If you're feeling adventurous and want a great blend of Italian and Japanese food, this is the place to go! I made a reservation for two on a Sunday at 6:30pm on their website and I'm so glad I did! They are a small business with a cozy sit down interior so their tables get filled during the dinner rush. The service was great and I absolutely loved the feeling of this restaurant being a family business. The food was definitely unique with all of them being a pretty solid choice. We ordered the green mussel 3 ways and it was perfect for sharing between 2 people. We both got a 3 mussels each covered in decadent sauces and served with toast. The presentation was nice and honestly I wish they served it as a main dish because each new flavor was delicious. We shared the spaghetti wafu Manila clam and tarako and the spaghetti mentaiko carbonara. They were both a 7 or 8 out of 10 with the Manila clam being the most memorable. The spaghetti is much thinner than I expected but it worked well with the tarako because of its soupy base. It had a rich seafood broth that wasn't too heavy and really warms the soul. The mentaiko was creamy but I felt could have had a bit more sauce since it was a little difficult to thoroughly spread the mentaiko throughout the noodles. The yuzu sake was very refreshing and not too strong! We also got the yuzu beer. Great choice for a light ale. They even gave us bread with butter as an appetizer as well! For dinner, we ordered the black sesame blancmange. At first, I wasn't sure I like the strawberry and black sesame combination. But after the second bite, the black sesame paired with the sweet and tart strawberry really compliments the overall taste. It was almost like a panna cotta texture. Plenty of parking in the plaza, but there are also many other restaurants so it can get filled during meal times.

Came to Vegas on a visit and enjoyed a dinner here. I ordered the uni tomato cream pasta and the Italian spring roll and thought it was fantastic! The servers were very attentive and kind and we even overheard some regulars coming back in and the servers knew their order already. Thought it was all I had to know about how good the place was. Would say that the parking is a little tricky so would recommend coming a little early to make your reservation. Would be happy to be back next time I'm in town!

Inside is really cute. It's a small indoor seating really intimate. The waiter was so polite and friendly, he helped us by explaining what different ingredient were used and what they would taste like. I got the spaghetti wafu Manila clam and torako. The flavor was so light and creamy but not like heavy cream. More buttery. There was only like 6 pieces of clams (they were small) I wish there was more :( it came with a lot of noodles I couldn't finish so I took home. I think it was $20 or $21 something like that. It was a really nice place to have a different take on spaghetti.

I visited Hachi in Las Vegas with my family for my birthday celebration, and this dinner definitely…read moreturned into a night to remember. My family made a reservation because they wanted to celebrate my birthday, so I was really looking forward to it. When it is your birthday, even a small detail feels a little more important. You want the night to feel special, smooth, and happy from the beginning. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there seemed to be a small issue with the reservation, and the table we were given was much smaller than expected. Since we were there as a family for a birthday dinner, it felt uncomfortable at first. I have to be honest -- my mood was not great in the beginning. It was one of those moments where you think, "Oh no, is this how the night is going to start?" But then the food started coming out, and Hachi completely turned the night around. The first thing that changed my mood was the beer. The draft beer was served in an unbelievably icy-cold mug. It was not just cold -- it looked and felt like it had come straight out of a freezer. The foam was smooth, the beer was crisp, and the first sip was so refreshing that I almost forgot I had been upset a few minutes earlier. That beer alone deserves applause. Sometimes a perfect cold beer can fix a whole mood, and this one absolutely did. The biggest highlight of the night was the tuna toro. It was incredible. The texture was so soft and delicate that it almost felt like cotton candy melting in my mouth. Rich, buttery, fresh, and so smooth. It was the kind of bite that makes everyone at the table stop talking for a second. We loved it so much that we ordered it three times. Ordering the same dish three times says everything. It was not a maybe. It was not a "let's think about it." It was a clear yes every time. The skewers were also very good. The grilled meats had a nice smoky flavor, and they were seasoned well without being too salty. They paired perfectly with the icy beer. But the shrimp skewer was especially memorable. The shrimp had that perfect bouncy, juicy texture. It was grilled nicely, still tender, and full of natural sweetness. Some grilled shrimp can become dry or forgettable, but this one had personality. Small skewer, big impact. We also enjoyed several other izakaya-style dishes. The grilled shishito peppers with bonito flakes were simple but delicious, and they helped balance out the richer dishes. The grilled squid had a great smoky flavor and a chewy texture that went so well with beer. These are exactly the kinds of dishes that make izakaya dining so fun -- one bite, one sip, one more bite, and suddenly the table is full of happy people. The sashimi platter was fresh and beautifully served over ice. There was a nice variety, including tuna, salmon, white fish, scallop, and ikura. Everything looked clean and fresh, and the presentation made it feel even more enjoyable. But honestly, the toro was the star. I will probably remember that toro for a long time. My daughter ordered tonkatsu, and that was also a huge hit. Sometimes at restaurants like this, kids' dishes can feel like an afterthought, but this tonkatsu was really good. It was crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. Seeing my daughter enjoy her food made my birthday dinner even better. As a mom, when your child eats well and is happy, the whole meal suddenly feels more peaceful. That is just the truth. Overall, Hachi started with a little frustration because of the reservation issue and the small table, but the food and drinks completely saved the night. The icy-cold beer, the amazing tuna toro, the juicy shrimp skewer, and the tonkatsu were all memorable. The food was strong enough to make us forget the rough beginning, and by the end of the meal, we were all happy. Las Vegas has so many flashy restaurants, but Hachi has that casual, comfortable izakaya charm. It is the kind of place where you order many small dishes, share with the table, drink something cold, and let the night slowly become fun. I would definitely come back next time I am in Las Vegas. Next time, I already know what I am ordering first: an icy-cold beer and tuna toro. And honestly, I may order the toro twice from the beginning, because one order is definitely not enough.
