Not your greatest H&M location if you're a guy seeking to get your fashion fix. You have your casual wear, day wear, night wear, and business attire pieces you can find here but the selection isn't the best. The store isn't as clean as it could be either. There is a lot of clothes thrown about or on the floor, especially in the fitting room. No one there taking your clothes and organizing. The day I came there were probably two people on register, or in the men's store period. I will say that the service was ok. Nothing special. A while back, I came and there was a girl who had really high energy and made my whole shopping experience memorable, even when I came back for a return. I wonder if she's still there? Guys, I suggest a different H&M location like Santa Monica or Beverly Center if you're looking for a better selection. read more

I didn't buy anything but it doesn't mean I don't appreciate it. First of all, they have a dedicate men's section so men avoid the embarrassing "lost in the women's undergarment section look while looking for the men's section" situation. H&M is to me the best compromise of price, current trends, style, execution, and variety for the masses. For example, you can get a tshirt for $13 that, although has a subjective style, infuses textures like pivots or thicker ink prints completely uncommon at that price point. My fingers love running through texture like carpets or car dashboards so these elements stand out to me. This location has a pretty good selection. I usually find better selections (and more chaos) at the H&M in Citadel. read more

Everyone at h and m are so friendly and definitely makes the customer experience a good one. Everything in the store is very neat and easily accessible, not too crowded, just perfect. I loooove the H&M brand. When it came to the US, I was thrilled b/c I'd already been familiar since my fam' lives in Sweden, & they had closets fulla' H&M. Problem *here* is: H&M is relying upon local entities to staff its stores, so *locals* get hired. Ummm, we're talking about the SoBay here, & the upwardly mobile locals don't have much use for mall gigs, so... It's as if they had a job fair in the CPT & Carson. Somehow, that becomes Torrance's problem. If the CA Dept of Motor Vehicles needs a more streamlined trained-to-hire program, it should take a look at these employees. There's no doubt that there was a substantial amount of buzz in the South Bay over the recent opening of this H&M location. H&M devotees no longer have to make the trek to either Third Street, South Coast Plaza, or LA proper. The Women's store is all that you'd expect from your usual H&M. On the other hand, the Men's store was quite disappointing -- it was about the size of a Macy's handicapped dressing room. Well, maybe not, but it sure felt like it! If you had a toddler, there's no question you could lose them at the Women's store and even have time to panic. If you let the same little booger loose in the Men's store, chances are you could spot him in under seven seconds. That's not good enough! I want to be able to go to big enough Men's H&M that would allow me to find a lost child in no less than 30 seconds. read more

When this store opened I was really excited. Before then my friend and I would make a trek to Pasadena or the Beverly Center every now and again to stop and shop. So a close one sounded great. Unfortunately I don't like this store at all. I hate the lay out. I can never find anything. It also seems like their prices are rising. I saw a pair of boots I liked from afar. They were over $65 and really, really poor quality. The material was really cheap looking. When I looked at the price tag I literally laughed and tossed them to the side on my way out the door. H&M has some really good stuff and if you have the patience to sort through this mess you can find some decent stuff every now and again. read more

Located near the Promenade. The store is split in two - one across from another. One side is women clothing, the other side is men's, children, and maternity. Somewhat annoying if there was any deal and you wanted to purchase women and men's clothes in one transaction. Otherwise good since it lessens traffic. Store is somewhat cramped in certain areas. Sizes aren't always organized from lowest to highest. The staff members also aren't the friendliest. Usually the fitting room representative helps you count if you have a lot of clothes that you want to try on. Instead this girl asked me to count myself when I was having difficulty holding them yet alone counting them. Otherwise, good store to get professional clothes or more classy casual clothes. The prices are also decent. H&M is always on my list of places to shop. read more

I was stoked when this clothing store opened up near where I lived. However people that lived in the area started mis matching the clothes and In a sense made me feel less hip when I wore my outfits with h and m parts. I don't feel the selection here is as good as the other h and m stores i've been to. The prices are also higher then the other stores I've been to. Even higher end then south coast plaza. There are white labels with the new prices over the basic tags that adorn the basic h&m wear. The employees here appear to try very hard to get the job, but not know anything about fashion, the latest trends, or even how to be a good sales person. I was looking at a few three quarters coats and upon trying each one, had a different employee make a discouraging comment. For one, I was told it was better to be for a Halloween costme. Two, southern California never gets cold enough to wear. And three, I'd like it only for ten minutes after I buy it. Luckily, I didn't take it to heart and bought the one that was "going to be in style for ten minutes.". It has serves me well on cold mornings when I sat outside with a cup of coffee and at parties, not getting mixed up as another's black coat. read more

I'm actually a pretty regular H&M customer. This particular store (at least the Men's side) has felt a little understaffed since the Del Amo renovations have been underway. Still, they keep it clean, have a real good selection, and great prices. H&M is kind of like disposable clothing, the quality is not something you'll be able to rely on for too long, but it works for the price. I buy all my work shirts here. Just bought a new one tonight. They have all the basics and they don't really set you back much; I'll be back again soon. read more

H&M is by far one of my favorite stores but this one i would rate mediocre....not bad but not all that great. They have the store separated by Men, Womens, and kids Departments so I guess this makes for an easier shopping experience. For the most part, when you enter a store like H&M you expect it to be neat and presentable which is not always the case. Sometimes clothing and jewelry can be found on tables where they shouldn't be and jewelry on the racks with the garments. On top of all this, when you actually need help its almost like none on the associates are available because its packed most of the time. However, you do find most of them very helpful if its a good day (weekday where its not so busy). All in all I can complain too much... Its a hight traffic mall and they do what they can to help you....If they can find the time. read more

I went to the men's H&M Great selection of clothes, and the prices are even better. I went there on a Saturday, about a hour before closing. I'm assuming the store had been very busy during a Saturday, because the clothes was not very organized or folded. No on was tending to the dressing room. Which is not a big deal to me. The staff was non existent. Except for the employe at register. The cashier was polite with a basic greeting but that is it. There wasn't any eye contact, or small talk(which is ok with me) and no farewell or thank you. That is why I'm assuming that it was a very busy Saturday. I purchased a pair of sweat pants. Great color, quality and price. I would visit them again. Their price and clothes selection more thank makes up for any lack of customer service. Despite the fact that this H&M is only one level (compared to the Santa Monica and West Los Angeles locations), I still have a much easier time finding clothes that I like compared to their other locations. It's a pretty good store. Their sales people are kind of jumpy though. I asked one lady to please help me find an article of clothing in my size and she jumped about a foot in the air. read more

Brandi is worthless as a manager and does not belong in any type of customer service. She wasted my time and the time of the sweet girl at your call center by directing me to call them over a $10 return that she could have taken care of for me if she wanted to but instead she must have wanted to be rude and unhelpful. I stopped by a different location and the cashier was able to process my return seamlessly and she wasn't even a manager, oh and she smiled. The staff here is really rude and unhelpful. First, they had a shirt on display that I really wanted and asked an associate if she could point me towards the location of the top. She looked and said there were no other ones left, so I asked if I could take the one on display since it was in my size. She said no because they cannot undress the mannequin and change it, but that I could come back in 2 weeks when they change it. Um first of all, why would you leave a top on display for TWO WEEKS when there are NONE left. Second of all, she said "that sucks for you" when I said I really wanted it. Whatever, I ignored her and went to the register to purchase some jewelry. The line was extremely long and had only ONE cashier. There were 4-5 associates standing around talking &gossiping and when I tried going to one of them to open up another register, they said none of them could ring, in the rudest way. I will NEVER shop at H&M again. I tried to return a pair of unworn jeans with the tags attached and a receipt on a Saturday. They were busy and said to come back during the week. I came back the next Monday and was told i could not get my money back, i paid cash. I could get a gift card for half of the original price paid. Rude staff and the manager was even worse. I loveeee H&M. It's a good store for basics and professional type clothing. They are ALWAYS running sales and have extra discounts off their clothing. I've picked up jeans (which are actually pretty decent, the black jeans do not fade) for $10, a blazer to wear during interviews for $15, and a pair of shoes for $7. Whaaaat, so cheap. The quality is pretty good too. Plus, if you use the mobile app, Wrapp, you can get another $6-12 off your purchase. Wrapp is always adding H&M coupons and I use them every time I go in. Oh, just a fyi, H&M has moved from it's old location in the mall. The Men's side is by the escalator across from F21 on the bottom floor, while the Women's/Children's side is underneath Old Navy. read more

The 2 stars are only because I LOVE their kids clothing line for my daughter. Their customer service however, gets 0 stars. First of all, no one ever asked me if I needed any help for the whole 45 min. that I was in there. Then, when I politely asked one of the girls if she can bring a shirt down from the top rack (she was already on the ladder stocking anyway), she acted as if I was bothering her. My friends and I RAVE about H&M jeans. Yes, some are $39.99 and $19.99, but I'm hooked on the $9.99 ones. They fit really well and come in three washes--dark, medium, light. They're definitely worth the $10 (of course the quality isn't TOP NOTCH or anything, but good for a budget). I do have to say one thing though. Sizes don't seem to be consistent? So you're going to have to try on multiple sizes of each wash to see. read more

I went on a shopping spree with my bf here a few weeks ago. There was an awesome sale going on... so many $10 men's shirts!!! I helped him pick out about 7 stylish shirts. SUCCESS! We tried looking in other stores at the mall, but H&M far outshone them in style-factor and in price. And then we get home and find out that the guy at the register had failed to take off one of the "pins" on one of the shirts. You know, the plastic thing that makes the sensors at the door beep. So we go back today to tell them to take the damn thing off. No receipt? Well duh, we bought the shirts like 3 weeks ago. The guy disappears for a long ass time, I assume he is talking to the manager. They tell us that a bank statement with the purchase on it will work just fine, so we drive all the way back home to print out the statement. When we go back the second time, they say that they still can't take care of it for us because they need the credit card number of the card we had purchased the shirt with. They swear up and down that it's the last and final thing they need from us in order to take the pin out of the shirt. So my boyfriend goes back and gets the damn card. The guy takes the credit card number down and disappears again. Finally he returns, makes sure the pin is out of the shirt, and sends us on our merry way. I asked for some kind of compensation, considering we had wasted a large chunk of our day over something that was not even our fault. No compensation. Argh. The end. read more

But despite the fact that this place is so messy and the employees swear that they're at the top of the world (much like those employees at Urban Outfitters), I tend to keep coming here just because it's a closer drive to here than to Santa Monica where it's the complete opposite. If I can just avoid the employees while I'm shopping, that can make my experience here a little better, but at checkout they just ring you up and give you your bag. They don't even make eye contact, ask if you've found everything okay, or acknowledge you as a loyal customer, or say bye. Ridiculous. read more

Love the prices and style of this chain. This particular store can be hit or miss, it is small but if you come at the right time they seem to have a good selection, on busy weekends they are picked over, and they DO NOT have enough dressing rooms (minus a star) I have been in a long line that wraps around the lingerie section before, because of it. I like it simply because its the closest one to me. Can't wait for the bigger one in the dreaded galleria to open....maybe I'd actually start shopping there more, if its any good. read more
