They didn't put the tile underneath the dishwasher and if you remove the kick plate you can clearly see they never even cleaned up underneath. Even though they had measurements of our over, there is an inch gap on one side between the countertop and the oven. Biggest issue is the countertops that we purchased through them. After 6 months, area around the kitchen sink area. We have been very careful about wiping down the area but yellowish water stains are definitely there.

I hired them to install a waterfall-style counter back in June 2021. Barely a year later, the waterfall cracked for no clear reason. They came out again in July 2022 to repair it, but the job was subpar. I noticed that between the waterfall backing and the side of the cabinet. It wasn't flush at all. Which I'm assuming that it allowed the water fall to slide inward more than 90 degrees, thus putting strain at the joint. But I am not a professional installer. It took them until August 22, 2022, to actually address this crack and I was assured the issue wouldn't happen again, however nothing was done to fill the gap with sub board to prevent inward movement of the granite. Unfortunately, it did again crack. A third crack appeared on April 22, 2023. I reached out multiple times via email and phone, only to be completely ignored. No callbacks, no emails, nothing from their receptionist or customer service team. Then, in May 2025 -- the worst-case scenario happened -- the waterfall slab literally fell off the counter. It nearly injured my child, grazing his arm as it collapsed. This wasn't just poor workmanship; it was dangerous. I've given them multiple chances over the years to make this right, but the lack of accountability and disregard for customer safety is unacceptable. I would never recommend this company to anyone if this is still their current practice and to avoid at all costs.

The job took a bit of time to complete because the installer only works half days, but I easily overlooked that because I cared more that the job was done right. After completion I realized the cabinet face frames were not covered in any laminate material. They were left bare leaving the wood exposed and prone to damage. When I finally got in contact with Lynn (first I messaged Tom and I believe Glen(?) with no response) she stated that face frames are considered a part of the interior cabinet which is not included in their refacing process and that the refacing only includes exterior surfaces. My question is, If this was not included in the process, then why remove the old face frame material, only to leave the wood bare. If refacing the frame was not included, then don't remove what is currently there, especially if the cabinets are being refaced the same color. Furthermore, the old face frames on those particular cabinets were still in good condition. This makes no sense to me and I simply cannot recommend this company with such lack of morality and care.

They are a nice family business, and they have seamless coordination between the designer, cabinet installer, and stone installer. You won't run into a situation where gaps are left between subcontractors. 2. There were no hidden fees or unreasonable change orders. The final price was exactly what was initially quoted. 3. We chose Dekton for the countertop, which is fabulous but also known to be harder to fabricate and install. Our countertop was so masterfully completed; the grain patterns all matched up and fit together perfectly. 4. Marlene, the cabinet designer, has vast knowledge of products on the market, which gives her the capability to create ideas for non-standard options. 5. Carlos and the cabinet installers, were so multi talented, they did custom carpentry work per customer's wish, and also electrical connections and drywall finish, all with good quality. 6. Celia, the schedule controller had clear communication for the timeline, no over promise, all realistic, no back and forth changes, which makes it easy for the customers to plan their schedule around the construction. When we started, we only knew what we didn't like about our current kitchen. Like any major…read moreproject, we started by reaching out to a couple of vendors to get quotes, that's where we met Alon, the project manager for Lumina Builders. What immediately stood out to us was that he had ideas and solutions to address our pain points and make enhancements, we wouldn't have ever considered, and didn't just wait for us to tell him how we wanted things. He created a vision for us in that first quote visit. The other contractor we spoke to didn't provide any ideas just asked us how we wanted it. It was a very easy decision to go with Alon and Lumina Builders. Our project was estimated to take 2-3 months and ultimately took two and a half months to complete. We designed a brand new kitchen, addressing all of our concerns and adding a few recommendations from Alon to streamline some areas. They ripped everything out aside from the flooring and walls. We got brand new custom cabinets, custom lighting, and new countertops. Our fridge was moved to a new, more accessible area. Our sink was shifted down to align with the stove for continuity sake (never realized how much I hated it being in a corner previously). We had a new little cabinet built in our little breakfast nook area and we had an appliance garage built to house everything that took up counter space. Everything is so much brighter and more open and, even though we know the demensions are roughly the same, it feels so much wider. We are ecstatic with how everything came out. Alon is a genius. He was responsive to us throughout the project, checking in weekly to see how things were going, giving us peace of mind throughout this process, as first time remodelers. We were indecisive about the primary cabinet color (I was very worried we'd be stuck with something we didn't really like) but he worked with the cabinet makes to give us several samples to choose from. I reached these people from an ad on Facebook (which should've been my first clue) and was…read moresurprised they were willing to set up an appointment same day. They took my information (just name/address /phone) and said they would be here at 6:30p. They then sent a video using my name, date, and time on a white board (to show it was real, I guess? That made me highly suspicious of deep fakes, tho) to confirm my appt and let me know some details before they showed up. One of the details was the price. The lowest price mentioned was $12,000. Not to remodel the entire bathroom, but ONLY to replace the tub/surround. Also, the material they use is BP-Cor2, a composite polymer that contains 85% ABS plastic and 15% Acrylic. Google says this is actually a pretty safe, non-toxic material (so that's good), but the adhesive fumes are another story and it takes 24-48 hours for all that to be done. That sounded exorbitant. They do offer a lifetime warranty, but I may be selling my place within the year, so that really wasn't a factor in my decision. So I called to cancel, was put on hold, then hung up on twice. Not sure what that was about, so I texted back to the number that sent me the link and said to cancel my appointment, then I texted stop to unsubscribe. Got a call back almost immediately after that from the guy I originally talked to, who tried to change my mind. I would say it was a medium sell - not hard, but definitely he tried a few tactics before giving up. When he finally realized I was not going to relent, he said he canceled everything, which was great. About a week or two later, I received a call from them trying to sell me their service again. I pointed out that I had unsubscribed from everything and was not going to follow through with the appointment. They called yet again another week later, trying to sell me the same crap. At this point, there is no way they could've convinced me to change my mind. I do not work with people who do not listen when you cancel something. Beware of giving them your information.

Terrible customer service and very bad communication from H Cabinet. The owner/managers have no respect to basic consumers' rights. There is no ground for exchange, refund or return as soon as you paid for the product in Full, even the box is just opened for checking. this young snobbish man kept lurking around us and started saying things to me like they don't do the estimate/design and they just want to sell the products, then I asked him what the estimators there are for and he said that he hired them just to sit around. I told him that I was trying to figure out how many granite slabs I would need before I do the purchase. He then got very unhappy and told me that he is not selling anything to me and asked me to leave. I told him that he is not the only supplier in town,he threatened to SHOOT me. I was beyond shock when I heard him threatening me like that (Does he think he is still living in China and so acting and behaving accordingly???). I was so upset by his rudeness that I challenged him to shoot me if he dares and he started dropping me "F" words. such poor attitude to damage their business's customer relation. I left there very upset by such disrespectful treatment & behavior and vowed to never go back there again. There are plenty of other wholesale suppliers in town that treat customers with respect and decency and still have the best deals (Rainbow stones, Picasso etc.). These imported cabinets and stones have high variance of qualify. What you get would have 50 - 50% chance from what you see from the showroom. We bought our cabinets and counter top stones from them for our rental properties remodeling and later on found panels broken, color faded, and few missing parts. We have to pay them again to replace those defect parts, even though it obviously is H Cabinet product quality problem. The estimators in H Cabinet don't understand English well, not to mention proper design and estimation of material usage. What ever you buy wrong from them, you probably will have to live with it unless you have huge amount of time to keep coming back and forth to their store and can stand nerve breaking arguments from the store owner/managers. Isn't that obvious something is wrong when the store owner/managers keep saying the F words in their mounth all the time? We are so frustrated by H Cabinet product and its nasty customer service, we decide never go back to H Cabinet any more. It is just not worthy to save those pennies with so much risk and headache. After all, the replacement cost and risk on shoddy products will make you lose both money and time. read more

Very bad quality, the cabinet start braking after two months from installation. We tried to save money but we end up paying more. We gave them the Measurement for the kitchen and when it's time for the installation the sink cabinets were wrong size. and because the boxes were open they didn't return it even though it was their mistake, and we had to buy a new one. Also the granite countertops they gave us two different models and of course they didn't return it and we had to buy more, so please stay a way from this place it's not worth the money. read more

Jun was the designer/salesperson that helped me at H cabinets and he was great! So helpful, knowledgeable and patient. He made sure everything worked together with the design and was thorough in checking the dimensions a few times. This is the second kitchen I've done with Jun and he is the best. The prices are incredible and they had all of my cabinets in stock they also have a great granite selection. Love this place! All I needed was the dimensions of my kitchen and where the hook ups were for my sink and stove. read more

I recently visited H Cabinet and was extremely disappointed with the customer service. When I asked for the price of a cabinet, the person at the front desk ignored me. Overall, this was a horrible shopping experience. I would not recommend H Cabinet to anyone. In fact, I would give it zero stars if I could. This is why she's the first person you see when you come into the showroom. Yan helped us navigate the different types of countertops and worked within our budget. We were new to working without a project manager and she helped us understand countertops and basic design. Installation went just ok. Juan was late all the time. However, he was very reasonable when we pointed out some changes that needed to be made. If anything needed to be fixed, he fixed it. We did not like that they cut on the site (our house) and dust blew everywhere. The installation took more days than what we were told. Honestly, I think they're slammed with installing 2 jobs a day. The major dings to this review are cutting quartz (silica) on site and working with Liz Flores while Yan was out of the office. That experience was horrible. If anything, that was our one regret. I would've pushed the job out until Yan returned to the office. The rolling eyes, the cold personality, the texting and passing the phone while the customer is talking to the salesperson, it was all rude and unprofessional. I would emphasize and double check that they fabricate and make the cuts at the shop. They didn't know what to say when I said that the crew cut the quartz on site. Lesson learned. Work with a PM.

First, I was recommended by the flooring contractor, who said they would get me the contractor price, which I was told when I purchased from Rayo. As it turns out, the "contractor price" was just their normal price, which I verified by calling and asking for the price. Secondly, they screwed up my underlayment order, giving me a lower-quality underlayment that I thankfully caught before the contractor installed it. This may have had the consequence of needing the flooring to be ripped out and underlayment replaced due to HOA rules of minimum sound abatement quality. And third, they couldn't find a flooring piece and told my contractor it was located at a different store, sending them from this location to Clairmont during rush hour. The piece was actually at this location, but they didn't even try looking for it. This delayed my project two days. Overall, they are untruthful and seem to be careless and unprofessional.

All businesses are customer service businesses. - The company received payment information -- collected with pen and paper in person -- and ran the payment card. No email confirmation, no call confirmation, no receipt of any sort. - The flooring we ordered was in stock for a week before we were notified that the flooring was in stock. - When we checked on whether our flooring was in stock, we were notified that it was and that it was waiting at their Kearny Mesa facility. - When our contractors arrived to pick up the flooring from Kearny Mesa, they were told that, no, the flooring was still at the Lakeside warehouse. This feels like information that anyone should have at their fingertips. - After picking up the flooring from the Lakeside warehouse -- now two weeks later and in a different location -- we were notified on the day of installation that the flooring NEEDS TO REST AND ACCLIMATE TO THE ROOM FOR 72 HOURS prior to installing. We are aware that, perhaps, our contractor should have known about the requirements of this brand and type of flooring. I'll allow this one point. Our project moved back a full week, and then moved back again, another full week. I understand: maybe it isn't that big of a deal to sell flooring. Maybe it isn't brain surgery. Well, I'm having surgery next week. And now our floors will be put in around those constraints. So maybe, just maybe, customer service -- even without a smile, even just doing the bare minimum of a job, like letting people know that the product they purchased is in stock and, I don't know, maybe the location of where that product could be picked up from -- is still very important. It might not be surgery to you, but it could be surgery for someone else. Would never recommend. Systems are in shambles. Operational disaster. Communication gap after communication gap after misinformation. Do something.

Unfortunately, things began to fall apart shortly before finalizing my cabinet order. My final renderings were never properly completed. One entire room was missing from the plans, and major updates that were requested - including switching from frameless to framed cabinets (which affects cabinet sizing) - were never reflected in the drawings. It became very difficult to get in touch with anyone to finalize the order or receive updated plans. Eventually I went into the store in person, where Liad offered to "fix and finalize" everything on the spot. He manually drew out the new layout and entered the order on his phone, assuring us he was taking care of everything. However, no formal layout, purchase order, item list, cabinet sizes, or updated renderings were ever provided. I was told we could rely on the existing renderings and that getting formal updates from the designers would take too long. After paying, we heard nothing until my contractor informed me that cabinet boxes were being delivered. The delivery arrived without any paperwork, purchase order, or layout for my contractor and cabinet installer to reference. Once installation began, we discovered multiple issues: missing items, incorrect cabinet sizes, missing panels, and accessories that were the wrong size. Trying to resolve these problems was extremely frustrating. It was again difficult to reach Liad until we went back into the store. He repeatedly asked us to provide a list of what needed to be fixed, but that was difficult because we were never given a purchase order or layout showing what was actually ordered. What stood out most was the change in demeanor. Conversations that were initially helpful became defensive and dismissive. At one point he even questioned whether our installers "knew what they were doing," and suggested modifying cabinets to make incorrectly sized accessories fit instead of addressing the ordering mistakes. At this point I have had to purchase replacement panels, shelves, and accessories out of pocket from another cabinet store just to keep the project moving. Both my contractor and cabinet installer -- as well as staff at the other cabinet supplier -- were shocked by the experience and confirmed that this is not how a cabinet ordering process should work. My advice if you choose to work with this company is to triple-check everything and get all documentation in writing before paying. Make sure you receive final drawings, a purchase order, item numbers, and cabinet dimensions. It's unfortunate to have such a stressful experience during what should be an exciting part of a home remodel. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business. There are many other cabinet suppliers that provide clearer communication and proper documentation.

When he removed my old cabinets we found a minor water leak. He was able to replace some rotted wood floorboards, and keep the job on target. He was also able to repair the plumbing issue. His knowledge, professionalism, and personal attention was a breath of fresh air. Even after, when one piece of hardware failed, he came right over and replaced it after 4 months. I waited some time to write my review to make sure the work held up to expectations, and they did. I would use him again.

I went through several bids and talked with several companies about this, and Cabinets and More got the bid because Harry, their project manager, demonstrated a genuine caring for the quality of the work done. He personally went to my home to check my measurements and scheduled a prompt install that worked around my countertop install. Juan, Ken, and Tian did a wonderful job on the install - everything was level, plumb, and sturdy, and everything fit perfectly despite the level of customization required. The cabinets are very good quality, made of solid wood and sturdy hardware. I would use Cabinets and More again in a heartbeat. Their personal customer service, careful installation, and quality product at a fair and reasonable price is something you can't find elsewhere.
