However, the most recent time, a few days after I got my car washed, I noticed that my sunglasses and a few other items were missing from my car. Considering that the car wash had been the only spot that I was not the only person inside my vehicle, and I never take my sunglasses out of my car, it seems reasonable that they had been stolen. Best deal in town! They're quick, affordable, and they do a pretty dang thorough job. I take my fill sized truck in, and for $24 they run it through a full wash and wax, towel dry by hand, wipe down and vacuum the interior, and even hit the tires with some shine. You can't touch that price/value anywhere else. Yes you might occasionally get a guy who does a less than thorough job with the detailing. But that's where you let the tip do the talking. Yesterday was an absolute nightmare, thanks to HWB Car Wash's complete and total incompetence. I dropped off my truck to be detailed. Simple, right? Except now I'm out $5,000 in golf clubs--including a priceless putter--because their staff couldn't be bothered to close or secure my tailgate properly after unlocking it. Let's be crystal clear: if my tailgate had been unlocked before arriving, my gear would've fallen out on the way there--not on my way home. But no--someone on their team hit the unlock, didn't close it, and just sent me on my way. I drove off, and moments later a stranger flagged me down to tell me my bag had flown out into the street. Turns out someone even scooped it up and tossed it into their truck--gone. When I returned to report this, the employee on-site tried to pass the blame and basically shrugged it off like it was my fault. That's insane. You touch someone's vehicle, you're responsible for it. Period. This wasn't a scratch or a missed spot--this was a total loss of valuable property because they couldn't do the bare minimum: close a truck bed properly. Take your business literally anywhere else unless you want to risk losing your valuables because of carelessness. I trusted them with my truck. Now I'm out thousands and getting nothing but excuses. I had such a great experience here! Christian dried and polished my car, and I can't thank him enough. He took his time, was incredibly thorough, and did an impeccable job. For only $32.99, it looks as though I had my car professionally detailed. This place deserves more stars--they truly do an amazing job and take their time, unlike the Magnolia Car Wash. The only suggestion I have is for each employee to set up a Zelle or Venmo account, in case customers don't carry cash for tips. Just left the place and while it's still fresh in mind let me tell you what happened: I get there around 8:30am, I had a coupon I got in the mail that had a discounted price on the custom car wash, I walk up to the guy and ask "what's better, the custom or the morning special?" He says go for the custom which is $3 more then the morning special, before I hand him my keys I say, "please focus on the inside, like really give it a good cleaning INSIDE, there's nothing in the car right now, so I'd appreciate if you gave the inside a good cleaning." He says, "Okay, okay, yeah! Got it!" I pay, I walk across to the 7/11, grab a coffee. See my car off to the side getting wiped down and I get settled to sit there for like at least an hour while they clean. Nope, after 20 mins, at 8:50, cars done! I'm shocked, I'm impressed that they gave my car a good cleaning in just 20 mins, they must've had several guys workin on it to get it done so fast. I tip the guy a few bucks cause I THINK he did a good job, and I drive off... I'm driving and I notice... my console hasn't been wiped down, my windows are still dusty on the inside, AND I can see streak lines and some grime from my wipers on the outside. I sit there in total disbelief I paid these guys $30 to literally throw water on my car, do a light vacuuming and wipe it down. I got jipped! I've been coming to this car wash for over a decade because they've always done such a good job. I drive a half hour out of my way to come to them! I brought my car in for a detail and was told 2 hours. I saw it still sitting there when I left but didn't think anything of it until I called and they said it would be ANOTHER two hours. When I picked it up they had missed several areas on the interior, there was still dirt in the carpet, and in several spots on the car they didn't finish taking the wax off, especially edges. I had to come to this one because it was the closest to my job but what a joke this place is; how do you charge $24.99 for a "full service" wash yet charge another $9.99 to clean the inside? The owner is basically the equivalent of a slum lord. I had my truck detailed and during that they soaked my amplifier under my seat; damaged it. The stereo shop said the damage was done and I bought a new one. HWB wanted to see the amplifier (like they're stereo experts) and said it was damaged before I came in. I took the amp and the receipt which the stereo company had written their findings and said HWB could call him to confirm. The HWB managers are worthless because they can't do anything without the owners approval and then try to spout his nonsense response back at me, basically calling me a liar. They wet basically blowing me off. I'll have to take this to small claims court and waste my time, but I'll be wasting his as well. I've been going here for over a decade, hell, I'm the Yelp Duke of HWB; My last 2 trips into HWB I spent $200 alone, the amp was $250, so what they'll lose in my business each year makes this foolish business decision, but again; he's a slum lord. read more

If I could give zero stars, that's what I would give. My car was cleaned very well and the gentleman who did so did a great job. Unfortunately, we paid the tip on our credit card and we wanted to believe that the tip would be given to the folks who actually wash our cars. I found out that they don't actually receive that money and you need to ensure that cash makes it into their hands. I had to go inside and request cash so that I could personally give it to the gentleman who washed my car. I also found out that this is happening all the time. One of the best places in the area to get your car cleaned/detailed! Hardworking staff with a well-streamlined process. DAVID did a terrific job! When I dropped off my car I casually mentioned I was looking for a simple exterior + interior wash, and briefly mentioned vacuuming the floors and cleaning out the cup holders. When my car was ready David waved me over and had me inspect the cup holders specifically to make sure it was to my liking before I drove off. He was so sweet and thoughtful. In regard to price, it was definitely much more affordable than most places I have gone to. They have different packages that you can customize based on your preferences. The car was mediocre, there was streak marks on the windshield that made it hard to see once it got dark, and honestly I wasn't going to say anything but I keep quarters in my center console for meters, and they stole anywhere between $5-$10 of my quarters.
