The best moving experience ever! For the past 10 years I have moved at least 7 times and every time I use a different moving company. Nevertheless, past 2 years I have used H2H Movers and my experience is amazing every single time! To start off, I contacted H2H Movers since I had a last minute change of heart about the place I live it and needed movers for the next day. Sadly to say, I did not call H2H right the way since another undisclosed moving company has always come first on the list of searches. When I called them to make a reservation, they did assure me that they have availability for tomorrow and would not be a problem to fit me into their schedule. What happened the next day however, is a nightmare I don't wish anyone to incur. I received a call 1 hour before the elevator time starts that the movers cannot show up due to some problem they incurred on their first job! No replacement was available, nothing they could have done for me besides just cancel the reservation! (believe me they are getting a very nice review!) So back to my experience with H2H Movers. Right after the cancellation I contacted H2H and they told me that they have the availability and even thought it is a last minute move, they will be able to provide me with a crew within the next hour. I thought to my self, I cannot be that excited because when it is too good to be true, it could be too good to be true! Having said that, it was more than true! Thee professional movers showed up not an hour time since I called but 45min! Right as the elevator time started and they other mover left the building from the move earlier, talking about luck right! Within minutes they brought their blankets, dollies, tools, supplies, etc and they were starting to prepare everything to be loaded in the truck. By the time I sealed the last box and made sure everything is clean in the place, movers had already covered all the furniture with blankets and have loaded almost all small items into their truck. I did not even have to tell them a single word about what needed to be done, as if they already knew like mind readers. I don't want to sound as if I am praising them too much but I could not be happier with their work at my old apartment. Once I checked everything twice, I found few other items that I have forgotten and I had the foreman waiting for me to give them the green light to leave for the drop off. I handed him the last couple and so long old apartment, off we go! Even though, they had a truck and could not drive on Lake Shore Drive, they were able to arrive at the new apartment before me. I did not understand how that happened but again, this is H2H Movers and anything is possible. So now here comes the fun part, 3rd floor walk up ladies and gentlemen, I am sure you know how that feels and what attitude most movers would give you seen those flights of stairs.... NOPE, smiles on their faces the whole time! Not those sarcastic ones, these guys actually did not mind the stairs at all. They liked what time do and had no problem doing it. My next thought is, here we are within the second hour of work, my quote was for 3 hours total, I am sure they will exceed the time but I will deal with the extra hour, it is not a problem. Wrong again, they were able to finish unloading so fast that they end up doing it before the 3 hour mark! WOW! All my furniture was placed in each individual room as I have instructed them. They carefully unwrapped everything and threw away all the trash. Pain free, stress free, fast, efficient, you name it they've got it! I paid for the move with a huge smile on my face and went about my day as if no move has happened. I would recommend H2H Movers to any person shopping for a moving company. This is the review you should be reading since my experience is no only based on the fact that I have used them twice but I have used other moving companies for the past few years, some of which have more reviews than H2H! I also want to point out that their site is better than any other's but this is besides the point of my experience I think. I took a gamble and hit the jackpot! On September 9, 2022, my wife and I needed to move a few large pieces of furniture from my sister-in-law's place to our home. The items were big enough where I did not want to move them myself, nor did I want to put any of our friends through the ordeal. I contacted Angi (formally Angies List), put in our information, and started to receive calls. The first call I received was from H2H Movers. I was very comfortable with the person who was answering my questions. I received a couple of call from other companies as well, but did not feel the "connection" I did with H2H Movers. I have moved out of state and back a couple of times so I have experience with moving companies. I took a gamble and went with my gut and hired H2H Movers. I could not have been more pleased. They began by calling me to confirm the moving date and informed me of what I should expect and what they expected of me. They were always so friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any question I may have. They informed me they would contact me a week before the move and two days before the move--just in case things changed or if I had any last minute questions. Two things matter the most to us when dealing with companies: customer service and doing what they say they are going to do. They were FANTASTIC. They gave us a window as to when the movers would arrive starting at 1pm. Dleksandr and Nurbek were our movers and they arrived precisely at 1pm. My brother-in-law informed them were they had to go to move the items and what they had to do because it was a condo and they had their rules and regulations. They followed all the instruction to the letter. They grabbed the items, loaded them on their truck with the utmost of professionalism and brought them to our home. Dleksandr and Nurbek were kind, courteous, and professional--they were great at their job. When they arrived at our house they brought in the items, but had a problem with the leather sofa as it was quite large. They tried through the front door and after a few attempts they decided to go through the back door. After a few attempts, THEY GOT THE SOFA IN THE HOUSE!! They did not quit, complain, or give excuses. H2H Movers contacted us at the beginning of the move and after the move to ask how everything went. All I can say, if you are going to move--whether a few items a few miles away or your home across the country, PLEASE CALL H2H MOVERS! You will hit the jackpot like we did. Thank you H2H Movers! It's been 2 months since my move and I've just finished unpacking and I can actually say EVERYTHING arrived undamaged. I hesitated to leave a review until I'd had a chance to go through everything, and didn't realize how lazy I'd be about it. Quote process was simple and straight forward. I underestimated what I would need however, if you're doing a Chicago to Chicago move its billed by the hour so it is what it is and all moving companies are going to be the same. The rate I was quoted was in line with several other quotes I received. I ultimately decided to use H2H because of other reviewers and the fact that it is a female-owned business. For the packing portion, they charge a per box fee. I think it probably came out to be more expensive for this service then some of the other moving services that charge by the hour because the guys were so fast. However, I can't say for certain because I'm not sure if anyone else could have been as fast, good, and careful as Dimitri and crew. A few days before the move I was contacted to confirm arrival time, COVID procedures, and general details on how the move would go and then again I was given a heads up about an hour before the movers arrived. On the day of the move, the movers arrived about 45 minutes early, and my building is a complete PITA when it comes to moving elevator time slots, but we were able to find a parking spot and they got started with a partial packing. By the time they finished, the elevator was ready for my use and they had broken down the furniture and everything out of a 1-bedroom apartment in just a little over an hour. At the drop off location, they were just as speedy and had everything moved in and furniture reassembled in about 90 minutes. During the move, someone from the company reached out to me to ensure that everything was going smoothly which was a nice touch. The only complaint I have is the payment method. The first 500 dollars they required in Cash and the rest I could pay with Venmo/Zelle or they would accept a credit card with a small fee. In 2021, who does business with Cash anymore? I'd prefer to just be able to Venmo the entire payment and be done with it. That being said, I would highly recommend using H2H, will continue to recommend them to my friends, and should I need moving services in the future will come to them first. read more

Recently we moved from Chicago to Atlanta...I was getting very high price estimates from most of the moving companies which were not fitting in our budget so I was really tensed then I got to know about H2h movers from my friend's colleague..she said h2h gave them good estimates and she was moving with them so I sent them inventory list on mail to h2h and price estimate received from them was well in our budget, I was so happy..plus their google and yelp reviews were good so we decided to go ahead with them...Ivan was the one with whom I was interacting most of the times on e-mails and 1-2 times on phone, he was so patient, always answered all my queries very well..he was very helpful...I also spoke with Valerie on phone 2 times she was also good and answered my queries...and last but not the least "Lyuda" who is business owner of H2h she is a sweetheart...she helped us very much throughout the moving I was connected with her on e-mails she sent us delivery dates for our shipment also she sent receipt as soon as moving done...I asked her to add tips which we gave to movers as my husband's company wanted it mentioned on the receipts for reimbursement she did all the help... both the times movers at chicago and atlanta were great..they were super friendly and fast and efficient in their work..as this was my first interstate moving, I had called 2 of my friends in chicago if I need any help but movers were so good that we all three were just standing all the time and movers did everything..they were great..atlanta movers were good as well ..super efficient..and one of them had stayed in India for sometime, so he was so much interested in Indian culture, cuisine etc..I am Indian, so it was so good talking to him about that..he said he loves tea, so I made tea for them, and he was so happy and asked me recipe for it as well :) overall it was just amazing experience with H2h..my shipment reached in 10 business days without any damage.. I have already recommended them to all my friends...If In case I need movers in future, I am definitely going to contact H2h only as they are THE BEST !! They are great! I previously gave them a 1 star because the first moving crew that came was just that bad. But their owner Simon called, he was very courteous and professional. Asked to have them move for me to make up for the mistake by the first crew. So I agreed and they sent a whole new crew with Dimitry Didar, and Eugene, who did an amazing job. The second crew was very polite, very organized, and super efficient. They came, moved all the boxes, then moved all the furnitures, any little request I end up asking were fulfilled. My move was done within the time frame. Not only did they not break anything, they also helped me fixed a table that were missing screws from my last move with--In and Out Moving (which is a terrible company, broke half of my stuff and just ran)--this second H2H crew managed to repair it which was well beyond my expectations lol I was totally ready to part with that table this morning. They saved my table in distress lol they didn't whine about every little thing like the first crew. Really did more than I could asked for. I could give them 6 stars if Yelp allowed. Tho a suggestion I could give would be better communication between the receptionist and the movers. There are 3 receptionists from the brief period I worked with them. They agreed to everything I asked but ended up rescheduling me 3 times the first round and giving me a crew that came and left. If they had communicated better it probably would not have happened. Tho I'm very happy with the move, I'd say they did a even better job than New City Moving whom I had pretty high praises on. I would recommend the crew I mentioned. They get right down to business and finish everything with time to help on other stuff like fixing my table lol I'm just super happy with my table fixed. Such a handy crew! Gearing up for a local move, we called a bunch of moving companies and ultimately settled on H2H Movers, Inc. Primary reasons for considering them were other good reviews, transparent and up-front information regarding pricing, policies, and procedures. Their online system made it easy to update our quote to include items we forgot to mention during the original pricing. Their team followed up several time to make sure all the information was properly conveyed and our questions answered. Just like with everything else, planning pays off. Movers showed up on time, and took us off guard how quickly they started to take stuff out of the apartment! They were SO fast, courteous, and just simply handled everything. There were a few items we had forgot to tape and they just took care of it. We had a few heavy, bulky and fragile items and they properly wrapped and secured all the items and moved them without any issues. Before long, they had the truck properly packed and everything strapped and secured. Expert Tetris players! They requested us to do a double check for any other items we may have missed and got going to the house. They showed up, asked for a quick tour of the rooms and naming conventions for them and just like it had begun, the house quickly filled up with all of our belongings. They double checked and pointed out any problems with locations (one of our dressers we wanted in a closet and pointed out the doors may not close). They also were eager to help move or relocate any items we needed. Best of all, they beat the estimate they had initially informed us about. Tip, well earned. It was like working with a well-oiled machine. Very professional, and very efficient. I can't imagine moving again without using this team. I got much more than I expected. That's nothing against the company, it's just uncommon that a group of people shows up for a job and proceeds to work really hard at it. I never see people work so hard. And what's more, from the get-go I became convinced these were super humans. I don't do well with moves. The process makes me melt. I hate it. I think it for sure cannot be done. So to be in this panic meltdown state, and be confronted by these guys..honestly, seeing how they are, how they're built, shows me how much more humans are physically capable of. I'm being sincere, they proved to be a testament of human potential. They work past the point I imagine I'd die, and this was their second move that day. None of my stuff broke. That put me super at ease the whole time, and took great care the whole time. I wasn't even fully prepared, nor was my tv in a box or anything. These guys really were professionals. They used tape and to wrap things in ways I would never have thought of. The job I literally thought was going to be impossible, they got done ahead of schedule, less than two hours getting out of the first place. They're already performing at a level that at my current physique, is impossible to me. Not only that, but three guys showed up and worked seriously, genuinely hard. I have no complaints. I'm grateful. I also made it hard for the back office, I had to cancel and rebook two separate times, meaning I scheduled three meetings with them, canceling them one by one and hoping to god they could help me the following day. Ya, it wasn't cool at all, but they were super cool and continued being kind and working with me. Finally, when I did move, it was Friday evening. They worked from 5 pm to 9 pm, on a Friday. We moved from Chicago to northern New Jersey. This is our third long-distance interstate move, our first with H2H, and by far the best. We selected the option for H2H to pack our things as well, and we opted for the expedited delivery which means our household goods would arrive much quicker and would arrive on the same truck on which items were loaded in Chicago - no commingling with other households and no transfer of our belongings to and from other moving vans. This added quite a bit to the cost but at the end of the day it was worth every penny. Four man crew arrived promptly at 8 am; they were out and on the road to NJ by around 12:30 pm the same day, including a snack break (hint: treat your moving team well with water, snacks and meals to save time) - we had Dunkin' Donuts and Jersey Mike's subs and plenty of bottled water and gatorade. There's no way we could have ever packed our things so fast and with same quality and care. We met two of the four movers in NJ for unloading, delivery and set-up. They arrived at 9 am two days later - that was our biggest challenge because we had to get to NJ as well after spending some time after the packers left to clean our unit, turn in keys and close out our affairs in Chicago. Timing was tight but we made it to NJ via Amtrak Wednesday evening with just enough time to pick up our new keys. Delivery with even just the two guys was efficient and well coordinated. Nothing was broken or missing. One item had a small chip in it - a sharpie fixed it - and that was it. Of the three long distance moves, this was the easiest, smoothest and most hassle-free. No headaches, no heartaches. I would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend H2H. read more

I used H2H Movers for local move on 8/29/20. Originally, I booked them for Sunday the 23rd, a few days after the closing date for my new place. When there was some issue in the process; however, the closing date got pushed back by a week and I needed to reschedule the move. Since the first time I contacted them in the early August, I was aware that they were fully booked on the last weekend of August (29 & 30). Even so, because those dates were the only option for me left before having have to vacate my apartment, H2H Movers gracefully squeezed me in their busy schedule. On the day of moving, the main crew member called me when they were leaving the office as well as let me know when they were about 5 min. away. I appreciate these small things that removes any guess-work during already stressed period of time. Once they arrived, OMG they aren't kidding on the website that these movers work EXTREMELY FAST and EFFICIENTLY. It seemed like every crew (I had a 4 member-unit) knew exactly what they were expected to do prior to coming into my place. They continuously moved in precision, which reminded me of working in the line at the fine dining. Previously I used professional movers several times for the long-distance relocation, but they are by-far the best movers I have ever encountered. Even the 4th floor walk-up didn't see to slow them down a bit. My new neighbor later mentioned they didn't even notice that I moved in because the movers were in-and-out so fast they didn't recognize us being there! All the move was complete within 2 hours and there was no damage what's-so-ever. Needless to say, I have nothing but great experience with H2H movers. Keeping my previous review here, but wanted to share that H2H really went above and beyond to make things right here. They called me personally to accommodate and issued a refund even a year later for the trouble! I really appreciate that level of service. Keeping the review 4-stars just because I wish the move hadn't been canceled day of to begin with, but really commend their efforts to have happy customers. Thanks H2H! -- This was the worst moving experience ever. It happened a year ago and I just realized I didn't review, and since good reviews were a big part of why I chose H2H I feel I have to share. I scheduled my move to start at 5pm a few weeks prior to my moving day. THE AFTERNOON OF THE MOVE, after everything had been confirmed weeks before and I'd made a deposit no problem, I received a phone call that H2H was running behind schedule and would not be able to complete my move (!!!) so they arranged for a different company to do the move. The company they hired was AWFUL. They did not have pads for any of the furniture and scratched and broke many of my pieces. Then one of the movers texted the number I listed as a contact to ask me out on a date after. Completely unprofessional and a violation of my privacy. I got a discount on the move because of the damage, but it wasn't worth the horror and inconvenience caused by this third-party company that was forced on me without even being able to vet or research them. H2H's service was completely unacceptable, bottom line. No customer should ever be told a few hours before their move that the moving company they took the time to carefully select "can't make it." Great experience with H2H for the second time! They did an excellent job through the entire process, from the initial communication for a price quote until the truck was empty. When you submit your moving information online, the site is very easy to use. They were very prompt to follow up and ask outstanding questions, provide an estimate and help you find availability on your day and time. I had a great experience with the movers Yuriy, Paul and Misha. They showed up right on time and were ready to go. Yuriy was the foreman and shared a reminder of what my initial quote was. He took inventory of my items and suggested what I should think about protecting with padding. He lets you know extra costs for this as well. I'd suggest being very organized with your items, especially if you have roommates. It's just more efficient for everyone. Moving out of your residence will naturally take a bit longer because they will wrap and pretty your valuable items like couches, etc. to be safe. Once everything is all loaded up, they are extremely efficient. I was moving just a mile away, but it was during a Cubs game and Lollapalooza weekend, so lots of traffic. But they got to my new residence quickly, looked around for the best entrance to move-in and then started unloading. They politely ask you where furniture should go and they set it down nice and easy exactly where you want it. In the snap of a fingers, they were done. My initial estimate was for three hours. They were done in just two! Overall, we could not be happier with the crew today and highly recommend to anyone looking to move. I'll definitely be calling on them again next time around. read more
