5 Piece Tim was very delicious...little sweet and spicy.

We're so excited to share our first experience at this restaurant! We drove 1/2 hours to get there, and it was definitely worth it. My mom went with the sashimi combo lunch, and wow, they packed a ton for just $18. The chirashi plate was another steal--it came with uni, which was a delightful surprise at $28. I absolutely loved my Crazy Salmon (seared salmon). The Yellowtail Lover was okay, though. What really made our lunch special was the chef's generous "Tim" (no rice roll) that we got for free. It was absolutely delicious. Right now, it's tough to find a sushi spot that offers both amazing portions and fantastic service. We're definitely planning to return!

This place is going to have a weird rating. I'm rating it a 5 as a late night local sushi option. The service was friendly and endearing. The food was solid if not spectacular. The hours of operation are what gives it the high rating. After 10om, there is nothing open around here. If I ate here before 10, it would be a 3.5. I will be back for a late night snack. Great people working there regardless of the time.

Came on a Saturday off lunch hours around 2pm. Seated right away. Service was very good since there was only one other table. Owners were super nice and gave us several complimentary items because we ordered a lot of food. Everything was really good and sushi was very fresh. I especially enjoyed the seared escolar and seared salmon and thick cut yellowtail sashimi. The Korean tofu soup and boiled pork (bossam) were average. I would stick their sushi items.

This restaurant is awesome! Our waitress Sarah was soo kind. She gaves us complementary miso soup. The food was awesome and it's literally just basic sushi. They outdid themselves. It's a nice, casual restaurant and pretty clean. The bathrooms are also clean considering the location it's in. Overall awesome restaurant.

I came back again!! I love Ha Sushi and like always, they were so good!!!! I brought my family this time and they loved it! We had spicy edamame and it was very good it was a sweet and spicy kind of flavor and the portion was perfect for all 5 of us. I got my favorite roll, the Hawaiian Roll and it never disappoints me! My fiance got her favorite salmon sashimi and it was so good and buttery. Every roll we got was perfect and I was really happy with the Baked Salmon roll. The vibe was very relaxing too. Overall our service was amazing and our server Madeline (i think madeline i only got the name from the receipt) was very nice and very patient with us too!! Will be coming back soon :)

The waitress was very welcoming and immediately seated our party of 9. We ordered quite a few dishes to share. The vegetable tempura was crispy and hot. Delicious. I was looking forward to the Yellowtail lovers roll. At first I was a bit wary of the onion, but it added to the overall flavor and worked well to balance the yellowtail without overpowering it. The Tteokboki was good and helped to switch out the flavors between the sushi rolls. I would also recommend the sashimi set. The presentation was very visually pleasing and the slices were nice and thick! We ordered the salmon collar and it was devoured by the time it made it to my side of the table, and wasn't able to snap a picture. Overall, great food and service. I would recommend this place for your family to have enjoyable evening!

I ordered: Chirashi Bowl - $20 Salmon belly, yellowtail, tuna, black snapper, albacore, squid, ikura salmon roe, masago, shrimp, egg, imitation crab, and cucumber. There was a nice variety of toppings, and I thought the portion was pretty good for $20. Spicy Salmon Roll - $12 (today's special) Salmon, cucumber, green onion, and pickled jalapeño. I liked the little kick from the jalapeño--it was a nice touch. The sushi isn't the highest grade I've had, but everything tasted fresh enough and, for the price, I think it's a good value. I wouldn't come here expecting premium omakase-quality fish, but for an affordable sushi meal or takeout, it works well. I also noticed quite a few people picking up their nigiri platters. They looked popular, and I'm interested in trying one for my next party! Restaurant inside is also like a mini Japanese market, with Japanese seasonings, snacks, and other grocery items. Service was excellent! The server was super nice and friendly, which definitely made the experience even better. Overall, a simple and affordable takeout sushi spot in Upland. I'll probably be back to try the nigiri platter next time!

We ordered the galbi, pork cutlets, and bibimbap and enjoyed all 3. Their fish cake and purple rice were my favorite sides. The pork cutlet was my favorite dish. The sauce gave me a "Ratatouille moment." I couldn't quite put my finger on what the tast reminded me of. I will definitely come back to this dish again and again. I'd also like to try one of their tofu soups next time. I didn't like BCD tofu house when I tried it years ago so I didn't want to risk another bad experience but they didn't miss with any of their dishes or sides so I trust them here. The turnaround for tables is fast, all things considered. You can tell it's popular and the staff hustle to make sure tables are cleared and cleaned up in a timely manner. I also like their metal bowls. They kept food, the rice in particular, warm for a long time. The one negative I have is that there's low reception in the parking lot if you have Verizon.

A Hidden Gem for Korean Tofu Lovers!…read more We have been searching for a new tofu restaurant to try and came across Tofu Chon in Ontario after seeing its excellent Yelp reviews and ratings. Needless to say, we were excited to check it out, and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking, which is always a plus. The dining room is relatively small, with seating for about 40 guests, but we arrived at the perfect time and were seated right away with no wait. By the time we left, the place was getting busy, especially after 7 PM, and we noticed a steady stream of pickup orders. The service was fantastic. Our server was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. She brought out an assortment of banchan, including kimchi and pickled cucumbers, and they were all delicious. The banchan alone set a great tone for the meal. We ordered two combo dishes: * Galbi + Soon Tofu Combo (Beef) * Bibimbap + Soon Tofu Combo (Oyster) The oyster soon tofu was the standout for me. It was packed with flavor, had just the right amount of spice, and struck a perfect balance without being overpowering. Absolutely comforting and satisfying. The bibimbap was good and served with purple rice, but it wasn't my favorite style since it was served at room temperature. Personally, I prefer the crispy rice and sizzling experience of a Dolsot (stone pot) bibimbap. That said, the meat was well-seasoned and tasty. The galbi was excellent. It was tender, flavorful, and marinated beautifully. Every bite was packed with that sweet and savory Korean BBQ goodness. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience and are already planning to return to try more items on the menu. If you're a fan of Korean cuisine, especially soon tofu, this place is definitely worth a visit. Tip: Arrive before 7 PM if you want to avoid the rush! Highly recommended for fellow foodies looking for authentic, comforting Korean food in the Ontario area.

It does get pretty busy, we were a group of 7 so we waited about 25 minutes, but it was worth it. They do take reservations but not sameday. Our server Andrew was awesome -- really friendly and on top of everything. We stuck with the basic Menu A at $29.99 per person and it was plenty good for the price. You can bump it up to Menu B for $38.99 if you want more stuff. We went through so many rounds of meat, especially the Premium brisket, Premium Beef Belly, and that spicy marinated maewoon bulgogi. The banchan was really good too, especially the kimchi, steamed egg, and kimchi soup. Place is clean inside and it's in a strip mall with a bunch of other spots. Parking can be kinda far during busy weekends so just a heads up. Overall solid experience, I'd go back for sure especially for the price, value and especially service. The hostess spoke so quietly that we couldn't hear her so we greeted her politely and said hi. Instead of welcoming us, she gave us an unfriendly look and asked, "how many?" We said two and she told us to wait. We stood at the entrance for about 15-20 minutes waiting to be seated. During that time the hostess remained at the front stand with another employee. They repeatedly stared at us, smiled, giggled to each other, and rolled their eyes while we were still waiting. It made us feel very uncomfortable. We came in expecting friendly service, especially since the restaurant wasn't busy but the experience was unprofessional and unwelcoming. We hope management addresses customer service so future guests are treated with more respect. We ended up leaving without eating because after waiting 15-20 minutes at the entrance and feeling unwelcome, we didn't feel comfortable staying. It was disappointing because the restaurant wasn't busy, and we were hoping for a good experience.
