I was on my way home from an appointment and I was craving some food from the Habit. I got there about 2:50 on 7/14/2026, The first person I noticed was a gal with the best smile greeting me. She was such a ray of sunshine for this Habit. My family and I keep getting food from this location. However, we always agree that the service from the people at this location is horrible. Pre-ordered my lunch at 12:30 for 130 wasn't ready by 150 so I had to cancel and get my money back. I was on a lunch break. I don't understand why mobile orders aren't prioritized in a timely manner. I get a busy store but not having a mobile order ready that were pre-ordered an hour before is on the managers for not training properly. Wow, I will NEVER go in this Habit again. And we love the Habit! Jessica the new manager, told us after we stood there for 3-4 mins, she would be with us in a few minutes or we could use the kiosk. Exactly what 2 stars states: "Could've been better." I've ordered on the app in advance and I have also gone through the drive thru to order and multiple times the food takes FOREVER. Usually online ordering and drive thru ordering means it's gonna be fast, which unusually this time it was. Today, I went to pick up an app order and I did arrive earlier than expected (which is fine I know I am early and I can wait). The cashier let me know it was still in progress so I took a seat nearby the counter. I was greeted by 2 different employees, which was nice. I don't know what it is about this Habit. I'm not sure if it's all Habits now but there are a few things that I need to complain about. First is the Price. Wow!!!! $17 for a combo. The burger is soggy and small, Fries are always cold! always! The wait time is way to long and they charge extra for sauces. i'm so over this place. Got 2 combos today for $35. What a waste of money I swear just go to in n out down the road. Habit really you guys are over charging for some basic food. read more

I had a really great time yesterday at this habit location! The assistant manager yesterday was making an online order customer meal right because there had been some sort of error. The manager and customer figured out it was an error on the people ordering, but the assistant manager was able to help them walk away with the correct order and walk away feeling satisfied. When it was my turn to order, I was met with kindness and an apology about the wait. I ordered the $10 meal because I felt like it gave me the most value. This location is unfortunately very forgetful and messes up orders a lot and seems to be frustrated when asked to correct or provide missing items. Most common is missing items in the order or making the orders wrong. With the amount of staff working there shouldn't be this many mistakes across a number of visits and it shouldn't take as long as it does to get food. Bro..... I was the only one in the drive through an ordered one kids burger and I sat at the window for a solid 15 minutes in order for them to make it. You can see the indoor counter from the drive-through and nobody was there. I'm not sure what they're doing in there, but that was insane. read more

Marisol the rudest customer service representative I've seen in a long time. She handed me my drink and as I was putting it in my cup holder she yelled at me to grab my straw. I knew she had it, but she had also handed my back my change at the same time and I didn't have an extra hand. It confused me and a gave her a confused look and she barked at me to grab the straw. When I asked for ranch to go with my nuggets and fries she charged me for one, though I told her the website says it comes with it. She told me to take a picture of her name tag if I have a problem and can call the company. I told her that wasn't necessary, but after all the negativity and confrontation from her I decided to leave this review and warn the rest of you. I just moved to the area and was excited to live nearby, but after this interaction I will never come to this location again. I don't know what the problem is with this relatively new location, but the service has been consistently poor from the start, they often don't get the orders right, and then the food is not up to the par of other locations. We walked in the restaurant, only ones in the store. Ordered. A few minutes later, a large baseball team comes in. The baseball team gets their order first. We complained, they had no explanation or apology, and our order comes out a few minutes later. But two of the orders are wrong (a double is supposed to mean two patties, people. First they say that the two patties are stuck together (nope), then they say there's a patty on each half. Nice try.) The other burger had onions instead of pickles. My husband and I have eaten here a few times since it opened. I love the fried green beans. And I usually get the Santa Barbara Salad. My husband opts for the chicken sandwich or a cheeseburger. They are always done just as ordered. But, ironically, it's not the food I want to focus on. It's the service. Every time we have visited, everyone has been exceptionally kind and helpful. This was my first time eating at the Habit in moorpark, the place was empty. We thought the service would be great and fast with no one there. As soon as we walked in the worker Marisol, she was very rude and not friendly. She made my mom feel stupid for asking for chicken on a salad. Then she repeated the order and mumbled the whole time. It sounded right and we confirmed, mind you we all heard my mom ask for vinaigrette. It took almost 15 minutes to get a meal with no one there! It was us and two other people max. When we got the salad the salad had ranch, and I went over to say hey we asked for vinaigrette and she said it was our fault and tried to charge me for ranch. NOTE: My mom hates ranch, so I know for a fact she would never ask for it. Then to add to the embarrassment, she started to also blame my mom like it was her fault! Thats so unreal. I never been so disrespected. I even purchased two additional ranches right before that. This is my first review in a long time, I had to reactivate my account just to write this. I will not be going back nor any of my friends or family. I'll make sure to let them know not to visit this location. I came here with my family and we had a terrible experience. We have been a fan of the Habit chain for over 10 years and by far this was our worst experience yet. We have been to this location 4 times and every time it keeps getting worse. Today ALL of my family's food came out completely cold. Our burgers, sandwiches, onion rings, green beans and fries were completely cold. Our tempura green beans were very salty. The service in the restaurant was slow for us today and there wasn't that many people inside. I think the drive thru gets more priority than the restaurant itself. I hope that my review can bring awareness to this establishment as we would love to see it thrive. But we just can't continue to support this location anymore. It was nice to have one of our favorite fast food places near where we live but I think we will need to get our Habit fix elsewhere. read more
