Ok Listen, so I wanted to spend some mommy daughter time with my little baby and I decided to take her to The Habit. I've always been a huge fan. We order an Ice cream cone and a side order of the "Infamous" onion rings. I strongly believe the oil that was used to fry my onion rings was extremely over used. My onion rings smelled fishy-like, and spoiled. "Trying my best to describe it, THIS was NOT fresh oil. When it came to me, the rings were soggy. Smh we drove 20 minutes for this "Mommy-daughter date" Ice cream cone: Now the flavor & taste that we love was STILL there however whomever the older gentleman is at the front counter, kindly put him back in training. The cone was sloppy and running down his hands. Presentation alone turned me off. He looked dishevel. (Poor thing) Guys, I am strongly disappointed by the service and quality of food that we received at this location, I normally only attend the one on Lakewood or Cerritos for this EXACT reason. I would appreciate a refund and a courtesy meal. I will continue to support The Habit Grill, only at Cerritos & Lakewood. I started using the app to order my food since I only have a 30min Lunch Break I need to get my food and eat it fast. I love ordering from the app. It is super convenient and very easy. When I pick up my food it's always ready for me to pick up and go. I have tried almost everything from the menu and I just love all the food from The Habit. I've been here multiple times and each time i've left very happy. Food is always really good and well prepared but what i really appreciate is the customer service. I usually have my two year old with me and when the employees see my two year old getting a little impatient they always do something really sweet to help ease the situation which I really do appreciate. The cashier was very professional as well as just being a down-to-earth human speaking to us. We had accidentally ordered an extra burger and went back to hopefully have it taken off the bill but by the time we were done talking with the cashier the manager behind her had already taken it off and was getting the cash ready to hand it back to us. I ordered the steak sandwich with a couple colleagues from work. The meat quality was horrible. It felt as if I was chewing gum. I usually don't complain, but I was just disappointed.
