Came here on a Tuesday night around 7:30. It wasn't exceptionally busy (like Smoke & Fire next door) I was actually the only person in the restaurant. I ordered a tenderloin ciabatta and sweet potato fries and waited over 20mins with the pager in my hand. Not sure why the food takes so long here. Why give me a pager and never page me? The fries were soggy and undercooked and the tenderloin was chewy. Definitely not worth the wait. read more

There's a promotion going on for a free charburger with cheese if you sign up for their CharClub. Valid until 3.31.17 You can actually use it on anything on the menu and just pay the difference. Came here for lunch at this new location and it was pretty fast during lunch hours. The line moved fast and efficiently and staff was super friendly and nice. I've always liked their burgers and tri tip sandwich since my first time having it in Santa Barbara. I would rank their burgers above In n Out. This new location has ample seating inside and outside. Parking in a lot shared with Chipotle and Waba Grill. read more

The convenience of curbside pick up is a joke. I waited about 15 minutes after checking in and it could have been even more if I didn't call in. The parking lot was quite full and busy, but there's a reason why we put the car model and color. Of course the staff member went to try to give my food to the wrong car. My burger was salty and the sides were cold. I didn't get the ranch and ketchup I requested in the order. When I opened the salad it was the soggiest and most disgusting thing ever. I don't get how they would drown it in dressing when it has a slot for the dressing to go in. Isn't that something I should decide on how much dressing I want? Either way I prefer to drive further out then return to this location again. read more

The residents of Paramount should be happy that they are finally getting some top notch places to eat without having to go to the surrounding areas. The Habit is a perfect addition. Beats trying to find a parking space at the location by LGB. Clean inside and out. Excellent service. Shorter lines than the location by LGB. There is also seating inside and out but it is shared with Chipotle and WaBa Grill. Burgers are made fresh to order with chargrilled juiciness in every bite. It's not better than In-N-Out in terms of quality and prices but has more options and a more casual setting. Looking forward to The Habit succeeding in the City of Paramount. read more

Glad they opened The Habit closer to home. Hated going to the one by Long Beach Airport. Parking sucked there. There's so much more parking at this location. The Habit has become one of my favorite burger joints. Prices are reasonable, food is fresh and made to order, service is good, and the dining room is clean. I've been to this location twice now and they both have been great experiences. My food is freshly made and tastes great. I usually order 2 char burgers on wheat buns and a side salad. I like that I can choose different buns. I also like that I can get sides of ranch, thousand island, or honey mustard with no charge. The service at this location is awesome. Very nice and attentive! Overall, a good burger joint with plenty of options. There's no need to ever eat at McDonald's, Burger King, or those other low tier fast food places again when you have The Habit! read more

Nice looking place and clean since it just opened. I ordered a carted burger with cheese and fries. This was almost $8.00 the burger comes in only 1 temperature WELL DONE which always lead to dry burgers. Got it anyway since I was hungry. The burger was smaller than what I expected. I started to eat it and had a decent taste but the bun fell apart will I was eating it. The French fry's are frozen. I don't see the hype about this place. I would have rather it was In N Out instead better quality product and prices. I will not be back. read more

My 11 year old went in to get 2 ice cream cones and he paid with a $20, he came back to the car with $2.81. I went back and as soon as the cashier saw me she said "he gave me a $20, right?" So I'm gonna give her the benefit of the doubt! Make sure you double check your change!! She still gave me incorrect change!! My bad for not double checking, but I looked at the bottom of the receipt and saw $2.81 and thought that was the total, but that was what change from a $5 was (total was $2.19), she gave me $17.19, correct change should have been $17.81! read more

Here at the paramount Habit this morning I received two free burger tickets when trying to redeem them the manager asked me where did I get them from I informed her they were giving to me by a resident where at. The manager told myself and my wife I couldn't use them due to they didn't have a bar code and she would have to call corporate so took the gift card along with my information. We'll it's been a few days and I haven't received any response from the manager. I will no longer eat or support Habit anymore. read more

Husband pick up food Saturday night, we ordered the grilled chicken burger and a chicken Caesar salad. We split both the chicken burger and the salad. All night I was vomiting, and my husband woke up vomiting as well. We believe we might have gotten food poisoning. We have 2 kids and they didn't eat any of this food which made me think it was food poisoning. It's unfortunately because we really enjoyed going there. I saw in other reviews of people feeling sick after eating here as-well. So it's clearly something is going on and it must be fixed before more people continue getting sick. read more

Okay... okay. I know a great Yelper takes a pic before the first bite, but I was hangry and totally forgot about you. So ummmm yeah... there is a bite or two missing from the grilled chicken on sourdough with bacon and avocado pictured below. I promise you it was worth it! What I love about the habit is I can always expect consistency and their food never ceases to amaze me. Ordered the garlic portabella char burger and substituted American cheese instead of Swiss cheese. Couldn't decide between onion rings or green beans so decided to get half and half. But agreed to tell the cook , to make another order of them . After 9 minutes No one said anything to me , so the new perfectly cooked fries would have sat there if I didn't get up and locate them . Also the drink I originally ordered could not be found on the drink machine which I mixed a tea with a little soda . Nevertheless , the grill salmon was nicely prepared , but the skimpy portion of rice and the kale-slaw were not enough for two us. I was feeling like I could have ordered a second dinner , as was my friend, as we drove 35 minutes to meet there from different locations.
