But after paying, we noticed that the ranch container is smaller than usual, and also only filled up half way. I walked up to a girl with tattoos letting her know the fact that we just paid extra for smaller containers of ranches that are half-filled. On Friday 5/9/25 decided to pick up dinner at the Habit on Grand Ave. across from Mt Sac. Ordered an Ahi sandwich and a kids chicken bite meal, also ordered the tempura Avocado and a side Caesar salad. The staff was amazing and service was nice, too bad the food was not at all good. The Ahi was tasteless, the tempura avocado was so salty as to be inedible, the chicken bites were hard and mostly batter, I paid almost 30.00 dollars for terrible food. Oh yes the side salad, well I got the core of the lettuce and leftover pieces. Well that's one place I won't be going to again. What a disappointment. read more

Habit's food has always been pretty good in my opinion, despite the long wait. However today 4/19 at around 3PM I ordered on the mobile app to pick up. When I got there I was on the phone so I figured drive thru to pick up like McDonald's or Starbucks. I was greeted by a man that told me I cannot pickup a mobile order in the drive thru and told me I have to pick up inside. Kinda made a big deal about it and I told him there's a car behind me already and it would create more hassle. He then says "okay, I'll let it slide this one time" I'm sorry, is it that big of a deal? LOL THEN they told me boom sauce is an extra $0.55 because people took advantage of it and asked for multiple. Okay sure, but maybe offer 1 sauce for free and $0.55 for the second one or more? Had the BBQ bacon burger. It was just ok, too much "salad" at the bottom with mayo, lettuce, tomato. Too much veggies, more than meat. The mayo clashes with what little BBQ sauce they put on the top. This was my first ever time at the habit and I was recommended by my buddy because of a deal they were offering on their app. Their app was having complications and they told me it was due to the wifi. Upon getting wifi at the Starbucks nearby I realized that was not the issue. I went back in and asked to speak to a manager very respectfully and they told me that the deal was no longer ongoing. Which is not true. They did not offer me their "new deal" they spoke of, claiming that I had to make an account the day before. Again, a lie. Im not the type to make a stinker in a restaurant so I dropped it. I have no doubt the food is incredible, yet I was unable to even get my first taste. I did not feel owed anything more than what anybody else could simply have achieved if their app was working correctly. I'm not a big fan of the "customer is always right" but when someone is a new customer, is very respectful, and genuinely curious about how to achieve the simple coupon that drew me here, they were unable to provide me with any assistance. The chicken sandwich was good as far as fast food goes (better than Chik Fil A!) and it was good size. Hamburger and fries were ok. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers, fries. Onion rings, drinks and grill cheese sandwich. The burgers and fries were good. I liked they gave the jalapeños to go with your burger. At Walnut, the amount of chicken was v-e-r-y sparse and an insult when you consider the $10+ price tag. The cooking, wait staff, and manager were extremely talkative and so loud it was difficult to hear the conversation at my table. They were acting like school kids and didn't appear to be trained in taking orders and lacked professionalism. I was generally very disappointed, especially with the chicken portion, and will probably go a few miles out of my way to eat at the other two locations just to avoid the one in Walnut. read more

It was whatever, until I opened the burger and it looked gross, I go to different locations quite often and the burgers never look that way. So I instantly tried to call them to see if I can come back later today to replace it, you can't get through to them. It's a robot that doesn't help unless your calling to place an order. Tried to place a complaint online like it says, which seems unlikely that you'll even get a response, then to only realize, the girl didn't give me a receipt, I usually always ask for my receipt but today in particular I'm super busy so I didn't even think of it. Only to be out of my entire meal now, since I'm not eating the burger, don't have time to go back and if I go by later I don't even know if they'd help and believe me without a receipt. Coming to this location for the first time, right away I noticed it was very clean! When I walked in I received a hearty greeting from the cashier, Porter. He took my order expeditiously with a smile on his face. Kudos to this young man for providing great customer service.
