All in all we enjoyed it. It's a bit pricey for what it is. The place is also super packed so it's kind of hard to navigate. The ambiance is cute. I like the outfits the waitstaff wears as well. The parking is easy and there is a pretty large lot. The booths are spacious and the quality is good. The only things I didn't like really were number one you have to pay at the beginning which I find to be kind of weird and uninviting, but I guess it prevents theft. I absolutely love Hacienda Buffet! I'm not really into other buffets, but I need to hit up this place at least a couple times a month. The food is fantastic and it reminds me of my grandma and grandpa's cooking. I love the Pork and Chile Verde, rice, beans and Sopa de Fideo. These are my favorites that I get every time I visit. I've tried a few other dishes such as Pork and Chile Rojo and Hamburger and Chile and they're all fantastic and delicious! I like flour tortillas and they're made to order, fresh and hot. The Caldo de Res is also delicious too. The buffet is kept very clean and anything spilled is wiped up promptly. The atmosphere is very nice with high ceilings and nice decor. They even have a guy playing the guitar and singing Mexican music table-side on the weekends. He'll ask before he starts playing, but if he sings for you, make sure to tip! The wait staff is very nice and be sure to tip them, as well! A manager even came by our table one night and suggested Mexican coffee as an after dinner drink. My roommate and I aren't coffee drinkers, but she tried it and was pleasantly surprised! She said it was absolutely delicious. Anyways, this isn't your typical buffet. Went to the Addison location recently. The hostess was kind of rude. We stood there for a few minutes waiting to be seated before she acknowledged us and told us we had to pay first. The server we had was nice soI left him a decent tip. The food was terrible. Everything was dry and probably had been sitting there for hours. The empanadas, sopes, etc were more flour than filling and drenched in cooking oil. I didn't even touch the guisados. The pan dulce they offered was terrible and dried out.
