I am so bummed to post a review like this for a place that I had liked for the 3 of us (husband, Daughter and me). My husband just went less than 1 hour ago to freshen up his hair cut. Comes back telling me to check the lower part of his neck, is burning he says. I find a blade cut that he was not aware of and was not told by the lady doing his hair. She dropped the blade while cutting his hair and talking to the other coworkers. I asked him to call and ask about sanitation control and he was told that the blades are changed for every customer. I HOPE SO! That proper thing to do was to let him know this had happened and an apology at least. She did not give him either one. I'm really concerned about cross contamination now! Fast forward to my last cut, a man cut my hair. He obviously was not straight (thats fine) but when he started stating homosexual comments at me and talking about sexual acts. Worst or 2nd worst haircut I've ever gotten. The wait was fairly quick, about 15 minutes if you went with first available but I did notice on the sign in that one barber in particular had 4-5 people waiting for them which could mean 2+ hours to get a favorite. The barber I got was a woman who spoke very broken English, I regularly had to repeat and clarify my request (a simple military high and tight - its not rocket science), and her responses were difficult at best to understand and make sense of. A guy who was set next to me was given a barber who apparently spoke no English whatsoever, and he had to literally translate every request via the other barbers shouting back and forth across the shop. As for the cut itself, she got the length correct and did a good skinjob on the sides, but ultimately left the lines uneven, but what I'm irate about is that she cut a part into my head that I did not ask for (remember I asked for a military high and tight, not some hipster fade and combover) and she didn't even manage to cut it straight! Near the back it looks like she missed and just cut a big patch out! My friend recently had life saving brain surgery, and the scars on his head look better than this part I have now! I got the cut because I was going out to dinner with friends and family, but as of now I'm just going to wear a cap to hide my shame. I'd rate it a 1/5 if you speak Spanish - that way you still get a bad haircut, but at least its what you asked for. 0/5 if you don't speak Spanish - because now you get a cut you didn't ask for and a bad one at that. read more

Been to this place four times. First time the guy hooked it up, second time the guy hooked it up, but it took an hour to cut and all I asked for was a taper! Third time the guy did a legit fade but I told him medium and he cuts a high and tight. Now the fourth time was the worst. This girl didn't fade it in properly AND she cut a little to much off the top, the worst part was I didnt even ask her to cut any off the top. I never not tipped a barber, but she was my first. We love this place, my hubby and boys get their haircut here. Ernie does my boys and husbands hair and there's not enough praise I could give this boy. He has the best customer service ever and does the most precise clean haircuts I've ever seen :) my kids love Ernie, he not only renders his services at an expert level but he adds that personal touch which to me means sooo much. He remembered my boys name after meeting them only once :) I feel very comfortable coming here knowing my kids will feel at ease w their favorite barber. Overall the place is nice for a barber shop. So I went in to get my son a haircut .. there were 2 stylist on the floor and a few in the back room taking lunch or something 1 stylist started cutting my sons hair I asked the manager if they do woman haircut she said yes I went outside to ask my Lil girl to see if she wanted to cut her hair she nodded yes and was extremely excited I than helped her get off and start walking with her walker(she's special needs and is non verbal and walks with a walker ) as I go in and ask if they can cut my lil girls hair (I asked in English ) the 2nd hairstylist who was available said "yo no kiero problemas , ke se lo corte otra ,yo no kiero problemas " (assuming I didn't speak Spanish) I than asked the manager why In the world would she say that and she gave me some bullshit story ( the stylist has stated that it was because I spoke English which was bullshit I look Mexican ass hell and speak fluent Spanish!!! I was so livid and felt like smacking the girl but kept my cool because of my kids!! How could someone that is suppose cut hair be so ignorant and discriminate against an innocent 9 year old girl with special needs !!
