I've been to four different HC franchises. Although each is unique in its own idiosyncratic ways, none are as professional and friendly than the Woburn MA branch, under the helm of Ms. Nikki Bonin, whose infectious hearty laughter will make even Michelangelo's David smile! Nikki would talk to any customers and her staff members, listen and understand their concerns and resolve these quickly and satisfactorily. Under her wise and strong leadership, each staff member treats customers with utmost professionalism and courtesy. Did I mention that this is the first branch I've been to which is run entirely by a group of very intelligent, capable and hardworking women, and is a very well oiled machine? Nikki's laughter and friendliness found an equal match with my longtime stylist, Ms. Julie Stewart, a warm hearted, very smart, wonderful and lovely human being. To top it off, she's got that wicked sense of humour! Julie is a very experienced professional, with great knowledge of HC tools and technologies she can utilize. With customers' best interest in mind, she takes very good care of us by providing best services, making us more beautiful and natural - often in creative ways. She tries her best to make customers feel comfortable as if at home, especially with new customers who often feel awkward in their first visits; her professional knowledge, warm smile and friendly easy going manner melt away all their anxieties and awkwardness, like the bright spring sunshine on the last winter snow, like a hot knife on butter. I would recommend Julie to any one in any age group, in any day of the year, rain or shine. I wish every HC franchise has a Nikki and a Julie. It was several years ago that I looked in the mirror and noticed, yep, going bald. I mean real thinning hair. Several of my friends suggested "Why not give HCM a try?" MMMM, Nah, expensive, intrusive and a club?? Well, after a couple of months of combing strands and more comments I made the call. I met with Karen who explained it all. Cost, visits, contracts, etc. Was I ready to make the commitment? Yes, and I regret not doing it sooner. With the change of a full head of hair now I looked 10 years younger, felt great about my new appearance and smiled and said thanks to all the great comments from family, friends and associates at work. Kudos to Dee my current stylist, Mary Ellen my first stylist, Nikki the manager, Karen my counselor and the great staff at Hair Club in Woburn, MA. It is not a club, it is a family. A group that cares about you. Always there to help and answers questions. Let me give you an example, I was in Florida at my condo in Naples; and had a mishap, I called Nikki and explained what had happened. She told me what needed to be done and had set up my appointment for me at the closest HCM in Florida. My package was delivered overnight and the next day I went to my appointment and was looking great again. Kudos to the staff in Florida also for a great job. If you travel, there are Hair Clubs all over and I mean all over so you are never without assistance and as was in my case your club is there to help to make sure you always are looking your best. My suggestion is, don't wait do it. You owe it to yourself to do something good for you. As I said before, "I only regret not having done it sooner." I want to start by saying that all expectations were made clear to me before I started this treatment. I knew there was a chance I could only be holding the line on my hair recession, or best case I could see 30-50% new hair growth. I am now 6 months in and am happier than ever that I decided to try this. My hair is noticeably thicker / healthier, i no longer shed as much as I did, and I can genuinely say I feel more confident than I did before. My consultant Geno has been more of a friend than anything (he just gets it) . He is an absolute pleasure to work with and he takes actual interest in your life past why you're there and the money you're spending. Karen has been amazing to work with as well, and really makes me feel comfortable every time I step foot in the office. This treatment may not be for everybody, but if you can stick to your routine and make a point of it, I can speak from my experience and say you will see results. I'll be the first to admit I definitely had my reservations about this place, but it was actually an awesome experience. The staff was really friendly and helpful and addressed all of my concerns. I've been struggling with hair loss for a few years and am wary of any "solution" after being burned by so many of those mail order options, but these guys really are experts and helped me find a treatment that worked for my situation (after a fairly high tech analysis I might add). I've been a Hair Club member for about a year now and I kind of wish I had started the process sooner. I'd been dealing with hair loss for the better part of my 40s but was still reluctant to try Hair Club.
