I took my mom (99yo) here for a much needed haircut and style. Lee did a great job of fitting her in close to the Thanksgiving holiday and really did a wonderful job of wash, cut and style. It was transformative and now my mom is fully ready for the holidays. I also like the cleanliness of the shop as well, including the well kept and well appointed bathroom. Making an appointment was also very easy over the phone due to their clear communications and record keeping. The shop accepts cash and credit cards with no surcharge. The only thing to know about that is that AMEX is not accepted. So, all good! read more

Lee has cut and styled my hair for almost ten years. Her haircuts grow out beautifully, and I often request just a trim to keep it the same new length. When I'm ready to go short, ehe obliges with just what I had in mind. A couple of times I have brought in a picture of a style I like and she either duplicates it or explains why it wouldn't work with my hair type or length. I get my hair done by Lee - she is absolutely amazing and the sweetest kindest person ever! Lee makes my hair beautiful every time I go in for an appointment - when coloring my hair, it can get messy, but Lee does a great job of keeping the dye from getting on me, or on my skin (near my hairline) and rinses all the dye out effectively, as well as not having to deal with the toxic harsh smells of all the chemicals used with other types of dyes. I am so sorry but I don't know why this place has such high reviews. I don't want to insult the business or the owner, but I don't want anyone else to suffer the same experience that I had. It seems like this place hasn't been properly cleaned or organized in a little while. There is old, dry hair sticking to the outlets and corners of the wall. When my stylist was opening the cabinets to get hair products or hair styling tools, everything in the drawers looked disheveled and disorganized. A bunch of brushes and products were piled inside. In my opinion, a large part of a salon's appeal and business is which products they use in store. I didn't recognize any of the brands used. I got charged $140 for a haircut, wash + blowout, which is expensive compared to the quality. Even some of the highest ends salons I go to charge $100 at an absolute maximum. She spent barely an hour total on a haircut, wash, and blowdry, which seems off. The owner was very nice but I would not return here again. read more
