    Stuffed Grape Leaves
    Dalia D.

Great food. We were the only ones in. A nice lady took care of us. I recommend the stuffed grape leaves. They only give 3 I could eat about 15 of those in one sitting! The Kafta platter was amazing. The rice was sooooooo good. I could also eat that all by itself. When we were leaving it looks like the family stopped by, which was sweet

    Lamb Kabob Sandwich

I wanted stuffed grape leaves for lunch and found this place close by. I ended up having the stuffed grape leaves and a lamb kabob sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the meal came with dolmas as a side! The food was amazing. The grape leaves were nice and tender. The lamb was grilled to perfection and presented beautifully. It was the rice that stole my heart. It was as soft as a pillow! Not sticky with just enough chew to it so you knew you were eating rice. The service was on point as well.

Beef kebab platter, kofta kebab? So good!

5 stars for the food!! I couldn't get enough of the Baba Ganoush!! I would come back just for that alone! Really kind staff.

    Gyro

I hate that they changed owners. This sandwich is not the gyro that is shaved but rather frozen and placed on a grill to be heated. It has 0 flavor. I'm very disappointed. If I could give it no stars I would do just that. I don't recommend it at all.

I love finding little hole-in-the-wall restaurants and this is a good one! The inside decor is clean and well-kept. The menu is small, not overwhelming. We split the platter between 4 of us and we all loved it. The platter gives a nice variety of dishes to try. The platter comes with 3 appetizers, and we chose hummus, baba ganoush, and falafel. The falafel was some of the best I've ever had! Everything was deliciously seasoned and good. Service was a bit slow, but it appeared that there was only one person waiting tables that night, and he was very friendly. Definitely a great little find!

    Hummus

The food lacked flavors and I mean basic salt in every dish that was served. We had to add salt to everything. They served bottled water without informing us that they charge for it which we found at the time of payment when we saw a charge of $6.76 for 4 small Sams club brand water bottles. They also charged us 3.99% customer service fee for a party of 4. I have never seen any Mediterranean place which does that. The fries that came with the wraps tasted bitter as if the oil in which they were fried was not changed for weeks. I would not visit this place again.

I must say their hummus is really good. Food tastes fresh and made from scratch. It wasn't crowded for lunch time so I was surprised with slow service. Place is clean and nicely decorated.

I've been here twice and love their fattoush salad! I always add chicken shawarma for some extra protein. The lady who served me both times is so sweet and welcoming. I'll be back again.

The best Mediterranean food ever. We enjoyed every bite of it. Its a home made food and we ate it all. We were 5 people and ordered like 10 people and we loved everything...Super delicious...The best customer service ever. We felt at home...Try it and you are not going to regret it....

Great food! A little slow on the wait time for food but otherwise very good. Call your order ahead instead of waiting at the restaurant.

I really enjoyed the flavors and meat seasonings. This was my first time having Kibbeh and it was such a delicious starter it really set the tone for the meal. It's not exactly close to me, but the menu convinced us to give it a try. My husband went with the buffet and enjoyed the variety -- hummus, gyro, salad, and pita bread -- and felt the price was a great value for what was offered. I ordered the pastitsio. It wasn't quite the same as the versions I've had in Chicago, where I've enjoyed both homemade and restaurant-made versions. This one was still enjoyable, but not as flavorful as I remembered. The béchamel sauce was creamy, though I felt it needed a bit more seasoning, and the tomato sauce leaned a little too soupy for my taste. I took the moussaka to go. It had a very similar flavor profile to the pastitsio, but instead of pasta, it featured layers of eggplant and ground beef. It was comforting and hearty, though the flavors felt a bit repetitive between the two dishes. The cheese bread that came with both the pastitsio and moussaka was really good -- warm, soft, and a great pairing with the meal. Service was fantastic -- friendly and attentive -- and the space, while small, had a cozy, homey feel. Overall, I'm glad I finally got my pastitsio fix, and it was a pleasant experience.

Cody was our server and he was courteous and lively, and overall we really liked the cozy vibe inside. Plenty of space inside for large groups and can be intimate enough for date night too. We ordered the spicy calamari, a Caesar salad, and a pasta sampler to share. First, the complimentary garlic rolls came out, and they might have been my favorite part of the meal. Incredibly buttery, soft, and flavorful. The calamari had a nice batter and savoriness but my girlfriend noted that the green onion garnish tasted off and seem spoiled. We let Cody know and he hopefully relayed that to the chef to let them know. The Caesar salad was pretty typical but enjoyable nonetheless. We got the pasta sampler and the first thing I noticed was that the sauce tasted pretty one dimensional and a bit too sweet for my liking. I'm no Italian food expert but I found it to be at the same level as canned sauces. The cheese fillings and pasta themselves were pretty good and there no complaints there. The meatball also suffered from being a bit bland and had the same problem with the sauce. Maybe it was just an off day, and I do understand they are a family business. Hoping that if I try dining here again I'll have a much better experience than this one.

The fries tasted like they were cooked in peanut oil and they were specially seasoned. They were a bit on the salty side, but otherwise they were good. The combo cost around $10 plus some change. Seems a bit expensive for what I got since my drink was from a can. Service was good, they greeted me as soon as I walked up to the counter to take my order. The guy was quick, but friendly. I didn't have to wait too long for my food, which was good because I was hungry. As for ambiance, it's a small hole in the wall type of place. It was clean for the most part. I guess I didn't exactly expect fancy for a fast food style sandwich place that's attached to a 7-11, but I had hoped for more to my sandwich and better seating.
