Spicy lemon wings 3/5-these were good, but a bit salty for my taste! Philly cheesesteak 5/5 - portion is huge and it's very good food, love the bread they use for the sandwich. Crazy wife fries 5/5 - ok if you get any sandwich or burger they come with fries, and ask for the crazy wife fries, soo good! Prices 5/5 - They are very reasonable! All that food was under $35. Halal Wings Plus is a nice spot to get affordable and tasty wings! They use grass-fed chicken, not pumped with chemicals, so the wings are smaller than those larger chains. Regardless of the size, you are still left very full after your meal. I ordered the lemon pepper wings and they were ready in 20 minutes. I wish they gave more ranch per wing ratio because the containers are small and they are kinda skimpy on the ranch.. which by the way I have never understood why restaurants were skimpy about the ranch they give out, but I digress! Hands down the best wings and burgers I have ever had!!! You can taste that they use 100% halal meat. I was a bit skeptical so I messaged to ask them first. The manager replied within minutes. I feel that says they value their customers and mean business. The sliders melted in my mouth completely. Fresh veggies inside. Crazy fries are literally crazy. Service is pretty good! I wanna start with this coz usually Desi places don't really have good service.. they take customers for granted but this one was different. So we got their chicken shawarma, philly cheese stake, garlic fries and the 6 piece wings with mango habanero. Loved the shawarma juicy and tender meat with great seasoning. I got their house sauce, white sauce and chilli sauce on the side which made the meal even better. Garlic fries were excellent. Philly cheese steak good too my husband says. My boyfriend and I came to order a bunch of wings, we got different flavors and I honestly forgot which flavors we got but they were all yummy! But the star of the show for me was the burger!!! The burger is so BOMB! The beef patty was juicy and tender and cooked to perfection! The flavor of the avocado and the veggies and the meat was amazinggggg. Food here is fairly good. Burgers were very nice and a fair price I would say. I cant say the wings are a friendly price but I am unsure how much it cost to source halal wings. Normal wings are significantly cheaper than this. I believe I bought wings from the halal meat store and they should be significantly cheaper than this I would avoid the wings pricing. Short Story: A great place for wings in central Fremont! Long Story: I've been here several times over the past year. It's been a good to great experience each time. I've gotten several different flavors of their wings including habanero, lemon pepper, and original. The habanero are my type of spicy. Any higher and it's unbearable! The fries are nice too. It's crunchy and not too oily. It's a small restaurant and there is not that much seating. It's good to find a halal place that's good and affordable. Parking is a bit limited. But the lot is adjacent to a larger one. The one issue I find with their wings is that it will stick to the wax paper if you wait too long. When you get it to go they put wax paper on the bottom. However due to the heat it bonds to the wings and then you can't separate them anymore. I wish they used better paper. Verdict: I'll come back! read more

I drove from Stockton with a couple friends and I was thoroughly happy with my experience. Halal wings isn't common so we made the drive for me who eats halal. Even for them who aren't Muslim and have had wings from all over, this was one of the best wings they've ever had. The wings were very flavorful and crispy yet so juicy. The spicy lemon pepper and the garlic parmesan were our personal favorites. On top of it all, when I told the lady at the front that we came from Stockton, she offered us soda and even gave us some extra food to make sure we're returning customers. She was extremely friendly and polite and hooked it up for us. The eating area was also very nice and gave off a cozy kind of vibe which was very nice to see. A while ago heard about this restaurant but in SF. Didn't get a chance to go ,but heard about how they have a location in Fremont. There was ample parking and luckily we went during an off time so we found seating inside. The service was friendly and food came out pretty quick. There's a pretty good Muslim presence in this area, so suffice to say Halal Wings did their homework and is a welcoming site for this locale. Their other location is in the middle of the Tenderloin in SF, holla! All meats are halal and they offer wings, much like Wing Stop. Also offer burgers and chicken sandwiches. Fast Food Set-up as this used to be a KFC for yeaaaarrrrssss. They did a decent job at giving it a more modern look. Tried a couple of flavors on the wings. They have different sizes, starts at 12 pieces for about $9. You can add another sauce for every 12 wings. Wings come with ranch. Though it states you order wings by the number, it is more likely you are getting it rather by weight. Instead of getting 12 wings, we all got much more, like closer to 20. Now they were smaller than what we get else where. But it did get them nice and crisp without drying out the interior. But they were like 2-3 bite wings. This is a key point here, as some may not mind it, but some may have fits and think they're getting cheated. I was totally fine with it, even though I joked once saying "these are some damn good hummingbird wings huh?!" Original Spicy (4*) These are your basic Buffalo style. Not as vinegar-y as some get, which is a plus. Spice, totally not hot, even though it says it is second from their spiciest level, which is the Mango Habanero. It does have a good red chile flavor, but it is also pretty salty, which is more normal than not. I could of eaten the full amount but the salt was just getting to me about 1/2 way through. I muscled 3/4 of it. If I would of been watching a game and drinking beer, I would of finished it, in the course of an hour though. Spicy Lemon Pepper (4*) They have a regular lemon pepper as well. This seemed like normal lemon pepper, but with a dusting of red pepper in the mix, probably cayenne is my bet. It does offer a zing, but again, is NOT spicy. It seems to have more of a "buttery" coating than say Wing Stop. It does make it tasty, but it also makes it a tad more "greasy". Jones St. Burger ($10/2*) I had to get this because I think I've been offered illegal goods on Jones St. SF, which is where they're first location is at. The name got me. This is their 'cheese burger'. Nice looking burger. Thick and compact. Nice bun, nice well browned thick halal burger patty. But the patty was far from a normal burger. It tasted like an Afghani Chapli Kabob, which is a seasoned ground beef kabob. The meat tasted of garlic, red pepper and salt. It was crazy tasty, but unfortunately it was also cooked pretty dry. The bun looked great also, definitely a good notch above your standard fast food bun. It almost looked wheat-like in color. But it too was dry, not sure it was from the toast, or just a staler piece of bread. After 1/2 of the sandwich, I just removed the top bun and ate it open face style. For the price, it also comes with fries. They are the thin, frozen type. Not my fave, but mandatory to eat a few, whilst munching on a burger. Probably wouldn't come back for a sandwich, but I would definitely come back and get some wings for take-out. Most probably for a game to watch with the buds. Football season, come on down! And we will definitely have beer no matter whose house were at, which they don't have here. read more

I appreciated the fact that it was slightly smaller than the patty so I didn't end up with excess bread. I ordered "The Zesty Chicken" sandwich, it was SUPER flavorful! The chicken was chopped into bite sized pieces flavored with a of mixture of spices: cumin, garlic,onion and more.
