Oh the most amazingly fresh and briny Gulf oysters. Had them raw and also enjoyed the sampler which included 4 types of baked: Charbroiled, Bienville, Rockefeller, and Orleans. Fried green tomatoes and crab cakes were excellent. Of the entrees, seafood au gratin snapper was the highlight. Herb encrusted Mahi was a tad dry but still good. Both fried shrimp and fried oysters were cooked to perfection. The greens were to die for and the crawfish crab and corn bisque was outstanding. Service was excellent and cocktails were well made. Atmosphere very upscale but comfortable. Limited downstairs seating. We went two days in a row both times mid to late afternoon and were seated promptly. If I lived in Biloxi, I would eat here at least once a week. read more

This is my second time coming here and both times have been just as delicious. The service is always wonderful and never a huge wait. I can't say anything bad about anything I have had here. Will continue to keep coming. Just make sure you don't leave without have their fried green tomatoes and crab cakes or their sweet potato brulee. Too good to not try. read more

Great seafood menus and very fresh. It is a Nee Orleans menu! The atmosphere makes you feel you are in the French Quarter and the key ingredients with creole/Cajun cooking are the sauces. This restaurant is spot on! Highly recommend and we will be back the next time we visit Biloxi. read more

This was my second time visiting here and it was just as good as the first. We were here on business. Friends had drinks and they were impressed. We had the crab cakes and fried green tomatoes for appetizers, the best!! I had the ribeye and potatoes. The steak was cooked perfect and it was the tenderest steak I've eaten. I also had the cheesecake for dessert, it was amazing! The service was top notch, our waiter was attentive and took care of us all night. He even took pictures for us! Was looking for a local business for oysters and we found one that was great. Service was friendly and not rushed. Oysters are sucked upon demand and had the sampler of 4 different kinds was fun to try. Ordered the two house soups and both were a hit. The worst food experience ever. When I placed the order for pickup since I was going to walk there from Beau Rivage, not drive, they told me to come inside to the bar to pick up my food in 10 minutes. But the hostess outside didn't let me go inside. She said that they will bring my food out. I was waiting for 40 minutes outside the door and when they brought my food and I took it to our hotel room everything was cold. The food tastes absolutely horrible. Oyster sampler had grainy texture, I tasted sand in my mouth. The seafood gumbo had overcooked shrimp in it that almost tasted like potatos. *sigh* Walking in, I loved the decor. It's like being in a house out of Gone With The Wind. We came for the oysters and were so disappointed! The oysters were delicious but GRITTY. I mean ever single one. We had the sampler and even the oysters Rockefeller were gritty. Charred oysters? Grit. Ok so we ordered shrimp trio and boiled shrimp. The trio was really good. I could have eaten a dozen of the fried shrimp alone! So the boiled shrimp were supposed to be boiled in a cajun broth, not. They tasted like they had sat in hot water all day. One was just mush! Yuck. Tasteless. We would have let our server (Linda) know but she was a drop and go gal. I would have liked some explanation of the different dishes but as I said, she dropped food off and left. I did notice that none of the servers seemed all that keen on working there. It didn't give off a happy vibe. One server had a pretty red mask unfortunately it was hanging from her ear instead of on her face! Linda had hers on all the time. The tables weren't cleaned well and the bus person even left a dirty knapkin under a table. Bad news these days. The saving grace of this meal was the bananas foster cheesecake. The warm rum sauce was awesome. I had two bloody Mary's that were really good, too. I was really disappointed with the gritty oysters, stale bread, and mushy shrimp. Our bill, with tip, was $150.00. That's a lot for a lot of grit. Will we return? Unfortunately, no. We may try the one at the Hard Rock but I'm leary. I'd like to know what others think. Best seafood restaurant in Mississippi? I doubt it... Yuck! I had a hard time choosing from this location and the Hard Rock location. I wonder why both locations are so close together? So hubby and I started with the chicken appetizer. It was sweet with a little spice. It was delicious. Everything else we ordered was gross.
