    Granby roll and chicken&broccoli

Always delicious. Had a rainbow roll, spring roll, and lo mein. Always quick service when we come here and always delicious- overall recommend

Came here years ago and remember it being good, however the yellow curry and tuna rolls were pretty average. Little to no flavor. I asked for the tuna nigiri, but I don't think the waitress understood what I was asking about. I figured it was too complicated to send back. I had great company I was having dinner with, though!

Arriving on a Saturday night, there is plenty of parking at Han Asian Cuisine. Located in a strip mall, shopping area of Granby just off of Route 10, easy to reach from most points. A friend and I went there this Saturday night, the place was busy. Looking around, a lot of the dining area walls need repair. Kind of concerning. My friend, ordered a Pear, Saketini, and I had tthe Key West Martini, both were delicious at $11.00 a pop. We put in the order for the $50 sushi and sashimi boat, which included a Dragon Roll, and a spicy tuna roll. We also ordered a Philadelphia roll, as that is my friends favorite. Included with this order were two side salads. The side salads consisted of iceberg lettuce, one cherry, tomato, and one slice of cucumber, all drenched in some type of ginger dressing. Fair at best. Next arriving was the Philadelphia roll, which was good. Tasted just like a roll it any other place. Finally this $50 sushi and sashimi boat for two arrived. Again, this was good not great. Average just like any other sushi place. Service was a little on the slow side, as the place was starting to get busy. Waters were not being refilled at our table. The total bill came to $85, and I left a $17 tip. Total for two with a martini each and tip $102. Now I know why I come here only once a year. It's close, and it fits the bill. This is not a place to make a special journey too. Anyways, if you are in the area, and want sushi or Thai food, this wouldn't be a bad choice.

The ambiance is nice and the service was prompt. Food came out pretty quick. I started with the hot and sour soup which I enjoyed--it was a pretty good deal for how much was in there. The crab rangoons were okay--very cream cheese forward so was not a great deal for what it was. Kani salad was also meh, definitely have had better. For my entree I got the coconut yellow curry and wasn't too impressed with the texture of the chicken. I think my favorite part was the hot and sour soup. My boyfriend did enjoy his sushi so maybe that's the way to go. I did enter the bathroom through the mysterious cloth curtains. There wasn't a pleasant smell, more like sewage, so not great for a break before my meal. If we were to return, I would just get the soup and a sushi.

1st time here. It was cute inside and the music wasn't too loud. It was a very natural and welcoming admosphere. The green tea served in a mug, which was different, but as an American, it was not a bad thing. The spicy girl and the treasure island sushi rolls were ordered for the table. The prices are a little higher than I was thinking, ranging from $17 to 19 per specialty roll, but it's been a minute since I had sushi, so you be the judge. The sushi rolls were surprisingly BLAND! Maybe it wasn't sushi rice, although it looked accurate. I would definitely not come here again for sushi, but I wanted to give them a fair shot, so I went ahead and ordered the crispy chicken wings after the fact. They were cooked with saffron, which is a little reminiscent of Singapore mei fun, but without the heat, nothing to write home about. The short of it is, i would not come back here to eat. Service was EXCELLENT (Anna), atmosphere pleasant, food quality A+, but for me, it was lacking zaz.

This drink is the Key West. Vodka, lemon rum, amaretto, splash of pineapple. I wish I were in Key West, it was delicious.

Stopped in for drinks and appetizers tonight. I had the Key West, which is made with vodka and lemon rum, amaretto, and a splash of pineapple juice. You could wish you were in Key West because this thing is absolutely delicious. Followed it up with two orders of hot, crunchy and delicious vegetable spring rolls, and two orders of pork fried dumplings with hot Chinese mustard. I am definitely coming back here.

Chef's Specialty "Crispy Sole" in a take out container. Amazing

We have many delicious Chinese restaurants in the Farmington Valley. I think of Han's as being one notch above the others. Their food and ingredients are better quality & just feel healthier, even the fried dishes. Their sushi is super fresh and top quality. Today I tried a new dish, the Crispy Sole, which is a new favorite for me. I can't wait to order it again. I didn't get the sauce that came with it in the picture, it was spicy and sweet and complimented the super fresh fish so well. Note to myself: ask for mild next time if sharing with others; I ask for medium and it was amazing, but bordered on almost too spicy for me. I posted two photos of the Chicken Satay because with the sauce, it covered just how meaty and moist that chicken is. It's always this thick and is very delicious. We ordered 3 different dumplings. I apologize for not labeling two of them. It was difficult to know which was which. While this review and photos are of take out (curbside) pickup, I have eaten inside many many times before. The restaurant is impeccably clean and comfortable. The staff and owners are extremely warm and friendly too.

Food and service is poor. I was disrespectfully called "honey." The chicken and broccoli had no sauce and I was told I needed to ask for it.

Sala seems like a high quality standard authentic Thai restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. There were certainly apps and noodle dishes you might find as street food, but no more or less than usual. In any event, I ordered the Sala Noodle Lunch Special, which comes with Tom Yum Soup (along with choice of protein) and fried wontons. My only less than enthusiastic comment concerns the fried wontons. They were room temperature, but they were flavorful. I ordered shrimp with the Tom Yum soup. How cool is it that shrimp is even an option? And it was perfectly tender. The soup had that classic sweet, sour and hot flavor. The Sala Noodles were very good. Wide noodles. Thin pieces of chicken. Carved grilled calamari. Snow peas. Sprouts. I could taste terrific char grill flavor, and that's a rare thing in this type of dish. The noodles and chicken had good flavor. I loved the basil flavor in the sauce. An outstanding lunch special. I'd definitely return to try more. Cheers to the one person who was hustling to serve all the tables. She did so with a smile. 4.5 Stars

"You're not a princess I'm not prince charming Speak with…read moreyour tongue, use body language And pull your skin like wrapping paper round my heart" (Graham Parker) The last time I stepped into this building was a few years ago when it was occupied by the Lemongrass Asian Grill. Today was my birthday, so my dinner spot of choice meant a return here to experience a meal at the newish Charming Thai Restaurant. And we left a few hours later agreeing that this place is fantastic. Soon after we were seated, we met Jessica, who was our principal server. She was an absolute delight with a fantastic personality. She started off with some complimentary noodles and sweet duck sauce. The menu is extensive, with most of the traditional Thai favorites, so think Pad Thai, Drunken Noodle, Fried Rices, Lo Meins, and Pad See-Ew. Other groupings include Chef Specials, Classic Entrees, Curries, and a full slate of appetizers, salads, soups, Pho, and Ramens. When you go through their menu, the various combinations of entrée and protein choices are in the 200 range. So pretty much anyone can eat their favorite Asian food here. We started off with a cup of Wonton Soup (with 6 big wontons) and a cup of Tom Kha Soup with two big shrimp at $5.99 each. The Tom Kha had a mild coconut taste, but I don't mean that in a negative way. I order this a lot, and some places really load up on the coconut flavor so much that the soup resembles a strong thick ice cream topping. Their soup was thinner than some but had enough flavor that it was fantastic. Oh, and those two plump shrimps in my bowl were perfect. We split an $8 order of six pork pot stickers, and they were cooked beautifully without a hint of grease and stuffed with a nice ground pork filling. For our main meal we split a $15.99 order of Chicken Pad Thai. We ordered it mild, but since I like spice, I asked for some extra zip on the side and Jessica brought out a cute little twin dish of Sriracha sauce and Sichuan pepper powder to ramp up the firepower. We loved the Pad Thai, it had plenty of chicken, the noodles were well cooked, and most of all it was sauced perfectly. Not too dry, not too wet, but just perfect. As we were paying our bill, the fact that it was my birthday came up, and Jessica made us promise not to leave yet because she wanted to give me something. That turned out to be a complimentary dish of sweet coconut rice with sliced mango. The portions were so generous that some of the Tom Kha and Pad Thai are now in our refrigerator for tomorrow. Thank you, Jessica, and JJ who tag-teamed us tonight, and here's a special shout-out to Lucy who made the magic happen in the kitchen. The food, the service, the value, and the atmosphere were all exceptional. If you like Thai food as much as we do, head on out to Route 4 and treat yourself to a charming dinner experience at Charming Thai.
