The food was tasty and portions were ample. The ambiance was very nice. Dim lights but not to dark. Music over the speakers in the restaurant is a mix of contemporary and 90's house. Very nice and relaxing. The service was great. Very friendly wait staff.

On this cold weekend we came out to get some comfort food. First time here and will not be the last time. We were greeted by friendly hostess/ bartender. Super sweet and very attentive. We started out with wantons with chili oil which was 10/10. Nice portion size and delicious. For dinner we shared the chicken with black bean sauce and fried rice. Can't forget veggie, we decided upon string beans with minced pork which was crunchy and soo satisfying. Food was amazing, space was cool. Loved the art and open feel. What I don't understand is why the place was empty on a sat night. Let's get this place packed, 5/5 all around .

I was first introduced to Han Dynasty at their original Philly location, and so I was thrilled to discover that it's here in LIC! Came here on a weekday for dinner and it was not crowded. I appreciate that they provide complementary hot tea in a cast-iron pot for every table. We tried the cold, sesame noodles, the Westlake beef soup, and the pea shoots. Each dish was absolutely delicious. My favorite was actually the pea shoots which were incredibly tender. The portions are also huge - the Westlake beef soup could've easily fed six people. Will definitely come again!

Great Sichuan Chinese food! I'm a fan from their other locations, but this location is one of the best for ambiance. It has an open rooftop in the summer. They have a few seats at the bar too. They also have happy hour drinks and bite specials. I like their Dan Dan noodles, three cup chicken, dry pepper chicken, beef and tripe in chili oil, and the fish with pickled vegetable soup. The fish soup has some rice noodles in it, so it can almost be a whole meal or shared appetizer. Most dishes can be adjusted for milder spice or more spicy upon request. The spices and flavors are delicious with a kick and some numbing effects. Yum yum. They have weekday lunch specials, happy hours, some chef tastings events at various locations and they're also on DoorDash. All the good stuff.

I thought food decor and customer service was really good. I purchased a to go order of 3 different app; wings, scallion pancakes and dumplings. It cost about $40. They use the toast hand held pos. It was preset for an 18% tip but I chose to tip a custom amount. Be sure to check for that. I know times are challenging and tipping culture is too much. Anyhow I decided to sit at the bar and I ordered a seltzer with lime. The bartender was pretty nice. I considered a cocktail but I decided to wait until I come back with friends. The murals on the wall are really vibrant and cool. Anyway the food is delicious. The scallion pancakes portion was kind of small but it turned out to be enough. The empress wings are packaged with peppers. The dumplings have the

Han Dynasty has landed in LIC! Famous across NYC for its bold Sichuan flavors, this new spot serves up dishes that hit all the right notes--spicy, numbing, savory, and aromatic. The Fish Dry Pot is a must-try for anyone who loves a punch of heat, while the Braised Beef Noodles are equally irresistible. With its stunning décor, extensive menu, and lively vibe, this is the perfect spot for flavor-packed dining in the city.

I came here for lunch with a friend and it's a pretty casual spot in LIC for some good Sichuan Chinese food. The inside of the restaurant is spacious, with high ceilings and lots of seating. Service was attentive and quick. We didn't have to make reservations for lunch and there was plenty of seating. For food, we got the chili wontons, Sichuan fried fish fillet, and the salt and pepper squid. My favorite dish was the chili wontons as it was sweet and spicy, and full of pork. The fried fish fillet was also pretty good but I wish it was a bit less bready and more crispy. And, I thought that the salt and pepper shrimp was okay. It wasn't very crispy and the seasoning was alright. Overall, decent spot for Sichuan food in LIC.

Great service and great food. Presentation was nice as well. The crisp of each food was great and the servers were very helpful in explaining the menu and our options in terms of spice levels and medications.

We went on a Friday night for some drinks before our dinner reservation and it was great! We sat at the bar and ordered a chinese beer and the frozen Empress. I was shocked to see a frozen drink machine and I knew I had to get that immediately!! We didn't plan to get anything to eat but we saw the chicken in chili oil on the menu and thought why the heck not. What a great decision!! We are so picky sometimes with the kind of chili oil we get and it was very very good!! We can't wait to come back another time for an actual meal.

Ive been here 3 times and have keep forgetting to leave a review! I absolutely love this place! I brought my family here for my birthday dinner, and while they didn't come with high expectations, they definitely left highly satisfied! My favorite dish has got to be the pan fried fish or the salt and pepper shrimp. Everything is very on point, so I definitely love everything I had. On another visit I had the cumin lamb which was delicious, considering I usually don't like lamb. Attached to this post is a collection of the food I've ordered here. Can't say anything bad at all to be honest! Service here is also very punctual and on point. Ambiance is fire as well I'm looking forward to my next visit here!

The ambiance has a good vibe and unique decor. The service was excellent, our server explained the menu, and our food was ready in 15 minutes, piping hot and delicious. We ordered the scallion pork for the main entree. The meat was well seasoned and tender, it had a sweetish flavor to it and no spicy. We also ordered the pork belly bun which was really tasty. You get two per order and they are soft bun with tender pork belly and chopped peanuts sprinkled over them, delicious. The fried chicken wonton was also delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant, I'll definitely be back.

My partner and I grabbed dinner here on a whim, and greatly enjoyed both the food and space! The dan-dan noodles were easily our favorite (already half eaten in the picture), as they were a combination of nutty, sweet, and spicy. We also got beef and tripe, bao buns, and pepper fried fish that were all delicious. In addition to the food, the service was immaculate! They were attentive, and the food came out extremely fast. They also have a happy hour deal that cuts the costs of a few select appetizers and dishes in half, which is such a steal (we went too late though). The location is a bit hidden away, so I hope more people try out this spot!

HD in LIC?? How lucky we are!! Made a reservation for a Saturday night in April 2024, though it wasn't necessary (this location is pretty new, so word is still getting out). My boyfriend and I shared: + Dan Dan noodles + Bok choy with black mushrooms + Pork dumplings in chili oil + Scallion pancake The Dan Dan noodles are still my favorite Dan Dan noodles ever, and the bok choy was also amazing. Scallion pancake was solid, too. Would skip the dumplings next time and try something new. They're working on their liquor license, as well as a rooftop dining area and bar, which they told us should be done by the end of the year. Amazing addition to the neighborhood!

I decided to give the LIC location a try while I was in the area and was pleasantly surprised to see the menu was AYCE. Currently, their menu is AYCE for $36.99 (Monday through Thursday from 4:30pm - 10:30pm) which includes the broth, many hot pot items, and soft drinks. The broth here is excellent and one of my favorite broths out of all hot pot restaurants; I had the spicy beef tallow and tomato. I would also recommend getting their handmade shrimp paste. Food items were generally good, but some items weren't the freshest such as the scallops (very fishy and not edible). Service: Service was phenomenal. Staff members were very attentive and friendly. My empty dishes were constantly being cleared, and they came to refill my broth many times throughout the meal. They are also always circling to see if you need anything. Ambiance: There wasn't anything special about the ambiance. Seating was comfortable and spacious. Cushions on the seats were very worn out and peeling. Overall, I would recommend this hot pot restaurant!

The restaurant is a few blocks from the main street of Steinway so it'll take a bit of searching. Going inside, the area is rather abstract. Service was lukewarm, I got my order in but the two workers inside weren't too receptive and the menu itself is kinda barebones with most of their food being a bit more than I would like to pay for so I just settled on one order of Singapore Mei Fun. After waiting 10 minutes for my food to arrive, the Singapore noodles which are usually spicy were kinda salty but it was nothing a bit of duck sauce wouldn't fix. This one order cost $17 while not the worst Singapore Mei Fun...well technically it is, even though it's not horrible but I've had much better from other places for a stable price of $12. The dandan noodles my friend ordered were maybe my favorite, they were the perfect level of spicy and so flavorful without being overwhelming. I'd go back just for my own plate of those. The service was quite fast, and it's a cute little shop that feels like a small town Chinese restaurant. Very reasonably priced as well. We arrived on a Tuesday evening and had to wait about 15 mins for a party of three. Service was nice and this place matches the east village location with a dimly lit vibe. I believe most the menu is the same but I am not completely sure on that. There are two different floors and tons of seating but due to it's popularity it all fills up pretty fast. At each table there is tea available and staff will also bring out water on request. We ordered four main entrees, bok choi, pork intestine, a regular roasted pork dish, and the cucumber sliced meats you see on everyone's instagram. While the cucumber meats do look pretty and with the dipping sauce is quite flavorful, I do think the quantity was too little to consider it worth getting again. The vegetables were tasty and wonderfully flavored. The pork intestines were both my friends favorite dish that we ordered and the quantity was quite a decent amount making it worth the cost. I personally wasn't that big of a fan but I think my taste pallet is a big different than theirs so it can be hit or miss. At the end of the meal they provide breath mints which are quite addicting.
