I loved the Princess roll, I just took off the jalapeños off of each roll I ate as the jalapeños would cover up the flavor of the rest of the roll. The spicy tuna with yellowtail combo was phenomenal, especially in a ponzu sauce/marinade. Our service was great as well! Both servers we had were very attentive and our waters were never empty. Also by the time we ordered our food, they came back immediately with our edamame and only a few minutes later with our rolls. They were incredibly fast. Parking is very easy as the restaurant is in a larger shopping/restaurant plaza. Can't wait to go back to try more rolls as their menu seems endless!

plentiful and I mean packed with fresh, buttery salmon! Amazing! We were surprised that the handrolls were $13.95 ea., that was the only issue I had. I had the Hana Gold roll. It was very good. I thought the tempura shrimp should have been the larger, jumbo 16/20 size shrimp. A little skimpy and hardly noticeable in the full priced specialty roll. I believe they missed the mark here too. Despite the "indi-glo" ahi [bright red/pink, not found in nature] the roll was good, not great. I feel that they packed this roll with krab and the tiny shrimp and I ended up not getting the bang for my buck. The rice itself was done very well. This is a true marker for good sushi. I had a Kikusui, my friend the lg hot sake and I had a small Sapporo. The addition of fresh wasabi and the paste both made the sushi experience good as they both had that kick and heat. I hope they read this review and up some of the standards, esp., in the "Gold" roll. It is obviously a huge profit margin for them. Next time I will ask them to hold the bright "fish" and bring on the salmon. Five stars, despite some imperfections because the service was professional and friendly and the rice here is outstanding.

We started out with garlic edamame, and honestly I could give the 5-star review for this location for the garlic edamame alone. It just had so much flavor and a perfect amount of garlic (which in my case is heavy on the garlic)....

Clean restaurant. Friendly and efficient service. Great food choices. BBQ Beef is always tender and flavorful. Tempura is always crisp and not too oily. Service is friendly, attentive, and efficient. I'm not a big sushi eater so I can't really comment on how it compares to other places. Udon is not Japanese style. The menu has a wide variety of things so I think everyone will be able to find something enjoyable to eat.

I am giving Hana Sushi #6 and the stars of the experience were Simon, our server and the sushi chef, which I am sorry I didn't catch his name and should have bought him a beer. If I could give half stars, this would be a solid 4.5. The fish was fresh, the rice-to-fish ratio was spot on, and our server was super attentive without hovering. It's a little pricey in my opinion (most special rolls are around $19), but the rolls are huge, so you're definitely getting your money's worth. The vibe is nice too -- relaxed but still a little special, perfect for date night or a fun dinner with friends.

This place is so good. Quick service. Delicious food. I got the Mexican roll and it's my favorite sushi roll now. My son got the kids katsu chicken and it was crispy and perfect. He loved it. The California roll is the best Iv had. Sorry my pictures I took were after we had eaten a lot of the food.

My girlfriend and I were starving and planned to go eat here for our first time. We sat down, got our food, and finished it all in 15 minutes LOL. Service was amazing, our waitress/server was super sweet and attentive. Food was BOMB. (We got the dragon roll, sunset roll, and crunch roll you'll see in the photo). The place seemed very clean and well put together. Nice vibe. One of my favorites for sure in the Temecula area, definitely try it out if you are deciding what sushi place to go to rn haha

Our favorite place for sushi! Service is great, sushi is fresh and there are so many awesome rolls. We try something different every time we go & haven't been disappointed. However, we definitely prefer the fresh sushi vs. cooked or seared options! Sashimi is also very good - the yellowtail was what we enjoyed most recently (1piece eaten before pic) Definitely recommend Hana Sushi #6..

To go orders should not take priority over dine in customers. Waited forty-five minutes for our two rolls because they had a lot of take out orders. Finally we asked just to have ours boxed up and we left. Our first bad experience at this location. read more

I came in to order takeout and was greeting with great energy! The man had great customer service and deserved a tip. The portions and serving was quite big and satisfying. But the only complaint that I have is that I found a piece of plastic in my sushi. I was going to mistake it as a shrimp shell and just swallow it but good thing I double checked. All in all great service but just an unfortunate piece of plastic that slipped passed the chef. read more

Always up for new Sushi spots. Was craving it today! Came across this spot after a good days of work at my Open House. Yes I'm a Realtor follow me. This place didn't disappoint. Very clean. Server was very nice and cordial. The Yellow Tail Sashimi and Garlic Edamame was fantastic! Definitely recommend this place for the locals if they don't know about it already! Arigato! This was my first time having sushi in Murrieta and I couldn't be any happier with my experience. My BF recommended this place because I was craving Japanese food. We came on a Sunday around 4 PM for an early dinner and it wasn't busy. The interior was nice and very traditionally decorated. Our server was super friendly and accommodating. She gave me miso soup on the house and engaged in a short convo with us. l Food l Spicy Pork & Assorted Tempura ($16) - Served with garden salad, miso soup, and rice. My BF isn't a fan of sashimi so he usually goes for the Hana combos. When in doubt, you can't go wrong with one of their combination choices. It has a little bit of everything. Oishii Sashimi Roll ($18) - Tuna, salmon, avocado, cucumber, red onion, kaiware, green onion, and masago. What caught my attention about this roll was the sashimi topping. I love tuna and salmon so this was the perfect combo! I love how there was extra sashimi on top. It was so delicious. The sashimi was thick and nicely cut. This was a very unique roll that I usually don't see on sushi menus. Caramel Apple ($11.50) - Sliced caramel apple for dessert? I think YES. It's interesting that they have this as a dessert option at a sushi restaurant. It comes in half size or full size. We had to get it and our server highly recommended it. We did not regret. It was thinly sliced so made it easy to eat. I love the whipped cream on the side. Overall, we had a 5 stars experience at Hana Sushi. The customer service was great and the staffs are so friendly. They offer a wide selection of food on their menu and have generous portions. Good quality food and a clean environment. I definitely will come again when I'm craving some sushi in Murrieta. I went with a friend and both of us are sushi lovers, but we ended up taking FOREVER to choose something from the menu. I hate to be one of "those" guys. You know the people who come in right before close. But being that my favorite sushi spot was closed, this place was the only other spot open after 9:30. We were welcomed graciously! Not only did they let us in, we received first rate service from every staff member inside. From water refills to prompt delivery of food, this place truly impressed. Onto the food. We ordered a Caterpillar Roll, the Awesome Sushi set, and baked mussels. All were extremely fresh and well prepared. The highlights were the salmon, hamachi and maguro. Delicious, fresh, and thick cuts of fish. The rolls were huge, they were tasty, and executed very well. The baked mussels were also very good and they put crab meat in it. I normally like to get the AYCE at other places (as this place isn't that) but I would definitely come back here!!! BTW, my friend mentioned that this Hana Sushi is by far the best in the area. read more

Not exactly my all time favorite sushi place, but it does satisfy the cravings. The nigiri did not taste as fresh and also the rice to fish ratio was very much more sided towards the rice. The veggie udon was tasty though, especially with the tofu that they added in. Although compared to the amount of toppings, I would've wanted more noodles. The Yakisoba was very flavorful and they give you a pretty generous serving. Service was impeccable. I ordered takeout and they personally greeted and handed me my order and a 10% off coupon. They have an online ordering system that is 10% off, I highly recommend using it! read more

I have always wanted that one sushi restaurant that treats you the same everytime. Walking in you feel the passion that not only the service is welcoming but, the staff all around great you amazing. They will always go above and beyond your expectations and make great recommendations. The crazy boy roll is amazing and made to perfection. The Hana roll was another favorite. Terrible! Avoid this place at all costs. Came to pick up an order and the young host got mad because I asked for a cup for water and then made me wait outside like I was some dog because she got upset that I was asking for water while I waited for the order. Tried telling her to have a beautiful day and then she just stormed off with major attitude. Avoid this place at all cost! they treat guests like garbage! read more

Most overpriced sushi in the area. Fish is mediocre. Service is blah. Prices of the rolls are actually wild to me. A bowl of rice is $4.50. Like really? A crab hand roll $20.00. TWENTY. The only good thing was the music was good. If you want to fork out the dough then this is your place. Won't be going back, even though I said that the last time. I mean it for real. read more

YIKES.... $122 + tip was $145. We took our 2 girls and it was VERY expensive. Food tasted pretty good, but for $145, no way. We only had 2 angry birds, 1 Tempura, 1 california roll, 1 tea and 2 lemondades and 2 mochi deserts. I was surprised at the cost and we will no longer go here. But the food was good. But value was a 1 star for sure. read more

We love all of the Hana Sushi locations in Temecula/Murrieta but this is definitely our favorite. The service is excellent and the food is outstanding. Be sure to try the oysters. Mind blowing! All of the tools are great. Nigiri is solid. And the specials are worth checking out too. read more

Went there for a second trip but for my 9 year olds birthday and she loves sushi! I have to say the service is always great here because they genuinely smile at you, not just because it's their job. The food tasted great and we got something we haven't tried yet and they all tasted great! We will be back again. read more

We already love Hana Sushi after visiting one of their other locations, and when we heard one was opening up literally walking distance from our house...it was a simultaneous "hurrah" and "uh-oh" moment as we realized our budgeting must needs be adjusted to accommodate the regular visits we'd be making! Very well decorated inside, and the expectation of friendly welcome and service was met and then exceeded! On our first visit (which I'll highlight as an example as we've been back many times) it was maybe their 2nd week of being open. Steadily busy and in the middle of the dinner hour. This was a newer location in this area. A lot smaller than the other ones within this radius. The waiters were very sweet and friendly! I also didn't know they had a lunch special where you could pick up two three different half rolls from selected special rolls for about $20!!! VERY WORTH. I watched her sit a table, clean a table, place a check before coming back to answer our question. (All I understand) until she walks by our table and pretends not to look at us. So I have to stop her again because one of the roles had a sauce on top. So I asked her if the sauce had gluten in it. Again. (2nd time I asked this question from her passing by twice) she acted as if this was a new question, and was trying to walk away. She assured the sauce does have gluten. So I told her that we already explained to the male sever that we cannot have gluten in the sauces. We kept that roll for the gluten people and order another roll for my mom to eat. She then asks us for another round of tea and brings us a teapot of just hot water.... Overall, I cannot stand when servers make you feel like an inconvenience. The Hana sushi staff by chaparral on Winchester is MUCH FRIENDLIER we are regulars to both locations. After this encounter, we all agreed we will make it a point to only go to the Winchester location as they are very kind and attentive to my mother's allergies.

Sushi sucked, the best one we had, which was the "funky monkey", wasn't even flavorful. You would think a sushi that contains jalapeno, cream cheese, and deep fried would be delicious.. It wasn't, very disappointing! And then the veggie roll.. was large and awkward and had lettuce in it? Thinly cut so you couldn't really dip it into the soy sauce without it exploding.. Never seen a veggie roll made that way, hopefully will never again. Service sucked, we had to keep waiting for drinks. No one seemed to notice or was even on the lookout to see if drinks needed refilling.. Looking around even I noticed other tables had empty drinks, not just us.
