I always loved Hanoo in Northridge so we wanted to try this one, it was good we went early since there wasn't many people yet. They remodeled and everything is set up for big parties and clean. Grill is big, brisket is super good! That's how I gage if the place is good or not. Only downside was they were very generous with meats and there was only two of us so we couldn't order different meats. Which may be good for others. Haha. Meat is good quality, menu is small but you're a basic beef belly/brisket person this is it. Service is excellent and they are very friendly and helpful. Sides are normal. So so good !! They have k. Bbq Ayci but 1 person cant have BBQ so i always with combo - cold noodles with LA Kalbi. Every week : monday or Tuesday coming lunch time . But today i treated my friend Kaiser Dr with & i we have LA Kalbi combo with cold noodle (nangmyun) but they have korean miso soup( soybean soup with vegetables) and Spicy Tofu soup combo with meat . Their Kimchi is so so yammy not spicy but so good for probiotics Service is best always - great manager and emo( aunty server ) always good !! We've been to many of the BBQ restaurants in KTown and most of them are overpriced these days: for the quality of food, amount of food per dish, and crappy service from overworked or simply burnt out staff that don't care about the customer experience. This particular Hanoi was a great find for us. It has Great food and value. Overall service is as expected from a family run Korean bbq place, but some of the servers are really good and attentive and really do care. My family have been back over 5 times in the past 2 months. Depending on who the servers are when you're there, it can be a 5 star experience. I've made sure to tip the servers 10-15% extra ( in addition to the tip I charge on my credit card) in cash just to show my appreciation for good service. I did not like that there were limits on how much of the good stuff you could get even though it's supposed to be "all you can eat". I guess maybe they should call it "all you can eat except the good stuff". Her kids ate so little, and I still had to pay full price. This is a solid kbbq spot in the valley! Their "A" ayce lunch menu is only $25, which is practically unheard of! The meats came out very quickly after you ordered them. Came here again with more people for my son's birthday. It's safe to say we bring all our friends and family here since we've found this place but today's visit was not our best. Our server was short and seemed very annoyed the whole time she helped us. Unfortunately we did have to ask her for things many times but because she would only give us the tiniest portions of all of our requests. We were polite and courteous but that was not returned. This is upsetting only because every other time we have come we have had the best service. Today was not it. Food was great as always. LA Kalbi Ribs finger Liking good !!! My wife and I were in the mood for Korean BBQ and we saw that this place was new. It used to be TJ KBB - which was ok, but we did not love. Hanoo Kalbi we love !!!! From the moment we walked in they were friendly and accommodated our 2 kids as well. Only my wife and I ate and they were ok with that. This is our go to spot and I would give it 5 stars but recently the service has been lacking especially with one of the waiters. My husband and I had dinner here the other night since it's near the house. We hadn't been back for a while and didn't know it was under new management again. For those of you familiar with this area, this restaurant has been here for years and has undergone several changes in management. It is still an all you can eat Korean bbq. They no longer have the buffet where you can choose your banchan and create your own dipping sauces. The staff however is now much friendlier than the previous ones. When we got there it was pretty empty so we were tended to very regularly. When we arrived we had a choice between two different menu's "B" for something like $34 per person and "C" which I believe was about $10 more. Only different I could see was the Kalbi in the more expensive menu. We opted for our usual brisket, pork belly, and rib fingers which were delicious. They came a swapped out our grill frequently which was awesome! No one wants burnt meat right? They also have macaron ice cream which my son went to town with. I took one star away only because they limit the amount of steamed egg and certain soup you can order to one for every 2 people. I think they use MSG because we barely made it home and I already had a raging migraine. I'm super sensitive when it comes to MSG so this was a no-no for me. Don't know if I'll be back again since we couldn't pinpoint which of the food we ate triggered my migraine. read more

My new favorite AYCE Korean bbq place. I have one a mile from my house but I'm willing to drive to this one. The service is great. They are attentive. On the spot. Friendly. There's no wait time. The meat is decent. And they don't charge the mandatory 18-20% gratuity. They give you the option of 15% even though they totally deserve 20% or more for their service.
