I packed my freezer full, and over the next few days, whenever I didn't feel like ordering takeout or cooking, I could just boil or steam something quickly and have a comforting, satisfying meal. Their frozen dumplings are my go-to. The wrappers are thin but durable, and the fillings are generous and flavorful, with a real homemade feel. The texture is great after boiling--soft, slightly chewy, and full of umami. Sometimes they lean a bit salty, but honestly, they're far better than anything you'll find in the frozen section of a typical grocery store. The frozen wontons are just as good. Came here to try the jian bing, and it turned out alright, but ended up really enjoying their chive pockets, and appreciate the variety of food items you can get here ~ frozen dumplings, frozen buns, flaky pastry-cookies, hot deli items, cold deli items, made-to-order jian bing, etc.. The jian bing was a large portion for $7.99 and they'll ask if you want it spicy or not - spicy comes with a sweet-spicy sauce layered inside, and isn't that spicy, just has a kick. I ordered 1 spicy & 1 non. They looked perfectly made, with the layer of egg, fried cracker, sweet sauce, green onions. It was overall not bad, but didn't blow my mind, and also after eating halfway through, started to taste a little oily (*3/5*). The chive pocket was a frozen/cook-at-home bag of 3 large pieces for $14.99, which is a little cheaper than having it at a restaurant. It was full of chives and egg, flavorful, not greasy tasting, and cooked easily (*5/5*). Also got their Sichuan steamed pork from their hot deli & a black fungus vinaigrette salad from their cold deli ~ the steamed pork flavor profile was a little odd to me, but wasn't sure if I'm just not familiar with this dish. It didn't taste of much spices (no peppercorn / fennel taste), and rather was a little sweet (*1/5*). The fungus salad was as expected and fine (*3/5*). By chance I happened on this gem! It's modest exterior hides the wealth of frozen dumplings and buns! The shop is very clean, freezers with top slide glass doors, well-labeled bags of 20-50 pieces of frozen dumplings, a side freezer of other goodies and the green onion buns caught my eye. The buns are huge! The lady helping me was very sweet, and even gave me a bag for my other groceries I was juggling as I perused the choices. At home, I steamed the buns for about 10-15 mins on low flame after the water was boiling. They're just buns, so no specific flavor. The dumplings can be microwaved in a bowl with water. I first started w (5) halfway submerged dumplings and nuked for 3 mins at high. After cleaning the microwave plate off of boiled over water, I nuked it for 2 more mins. What a simple business idea, but highly effective! The store primarily focuses on frozen dumplings and baos. But they have other frozen items like meat pies as well as cooked items for purchase. We like to cook and eat at home, so a place like this suits us. We bought pork and chive, pork and corn, beef and onion meat pie, and mushroom veggie bao. The cooking instructions are easy, and the food turned out delicious. The wrapping on the dumplings are nice and thin and silky. While the dumpling looks small, the filling is surprisingly significant because they expertly pack a lot per dumpling. In other words, when I take a bite, it feels like I am eating a meatball because the wrapper is so thin--delicious! The baos are nice and fluffy; good savory, peppery filling of mushroom and veggie with some noodles mixed. The beef and onion from the meat pie was flavorful and juicy. We are happy we found this place; delicious, comfort food in the comfort of our own home. read more

Small family store with lot of frozen dumplings You have to buy box packages no individual pastry and no English. Only Chinese speaking but they are very friendly. Really wanted to try some hand made dumplings. Stepping into the shop, although small, is packed with many items and lots of dumpling options. Easy to shop with everything labeled. The woman working was nice as she rang me up for the couple items I picked up: Pork and chive dumplings - I like a thicker wrapping but the filling was flavorful but too salty for me. Dumplings are one of my favorite foods and I was excited to see this dumpling shop open in the area. It's kind of small, but they pack a lot of frozen dumplings, pastries, and buns in here. You can find eclectic dumpling flavors here. My favorites are the pork soup dumplings, fish dumplings, and pork and cabbage dumplings. The only things I've had here which were kind of disappointing were the buns which were bland and dry and the leek dumplings which I'm pretty sure they use dill instead of leek and there was a lot of it which overpowered everything. Every time I come here I always pick up at least two packs of dumplings. Recently I bought some Xiao Long Bao as well as some pan fried buns and wow, mouth watering good. Picked up a bag of pork and shrimp dumplings for the pot of wonton soup for dinner. They cooked up real quick (3-5 mins) in my soup base. Once they float to the top; they're done. They're delicious! I had a terrible experience at this store. The staff was rude and unhelpful. I was shocked at how unprofessional the staff was. I'm the only customer at the store, but I waited half an hour at the register to complete my order. The staff cannot figure out how to applied the discount to the order.
