I got breakfast tacos with brisket, tri-tip, and pork, jalapeños and their spicy BBQ sauce, and every one of them was excellent. The brisket is the favorite I think, maybe the tri-trip. But the food ended up being only half the reason I liked this place. While I waited on my food, I was offered a free cup of coffee, which is unheard of in the Bay. Sitting at the bar, I started noticing how the staff interacted with each other. They genuinely seemed to enjoy working together. Maybe the owner(?) was hyping up the woman who took my order who happens to be a very talented local singer. It was super encouraging to witness. The place just felt good to be in. Great food.
