We bought this grapefruit boba tea today around 12:30 p.m. and the store was open. As we were finishing the drink, we found this inside. This is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. Yuck!

Drinks here run sweet! I ordered my 50% sweetness but it still tasted like 100% so I'll have to adjust next time. I got the freshly squeezed lemon Jasmine green tea which had several slices of squeezed lemon inside. Tasty and a good balance of tartness, but I'll get 30% sweetness next time. I also added lychee jelly. The bubble waffles here are good as well. Freshly made and great subtle flavor. Despite the long lines, service was friendly and quite fast. There is some seating but the store gets crowded so I'm not sure you'd want to stay inside.

Had a line but it moves fast and they make everything fast as well. Got our regular but they discontinued the yakult drink. Also got 2 bubble waffles which were made fast too. Happy lemon never disappoints. Make sure to sign up for rewards, we had 2 free drinks this visit! Not much for seating inside. But we got it to go anyways.

Well... I finally got to try this location after listening to some interesting hearsay reviews, and after having it I'm questioning my life's choices. This is inside Bellevue Square Mall not too far from the newly opened Moto Pizza, and there was still a ton of people waiting for drinks about 30 minutes before closing on a Sunday evening. No comment on service since you only order at the counter. Inside is very noisy and very cramped. I went here to get their smoky pine Oreo smoothie as part of their 18th anniversary and I wasn't sure what flavor I was getting when I tasted it. The consistency matches that of a smoothie but I could have caught a hint of what tasted like cardboard in my drink. Not like cardboard pieces but tastes of it. Drink was still all right at best. There's definitely better surrounding areas for milk tea in the Bellevue area than here.

Service was ok, but not worth the hype and price. I paid $22 for two drinks for online pick-up and they both taste straight up like milk. Do not waste your money, I requested boba/tapioca for my drink which was an additional cost and if you look at the pictures there was barely any. LOL The mango matcha drink at the back was also not blended for long enough and tasted disgusting like vomit.

Stopped by Happen Lemon inside Bellevue Square Mall on a packed Saturday afternoon. The place was buzzing with people, which made it tough to stay in line with two little kids in tow. I was a bit disappointed to see their food safety rating wasn't as high as I expected for such a busy location. We were really hoping to try the bubble waffle, but were told it'd be another 15-20 minute wait, which just wasn't realistic with kids. The drinks were decent, but the overall experience felt a bit chaotic. Probably better to visit during a quieter time if you want the full menu and a smoother experience. JY review

Located on the first floor of the Bellevue Square. It is a very busy place with nice decor, but a small store. Barely had room to wait for my order. I got the brown sugar fresh milk with boba. It was too sweet in my opinion and regretted not getting a smoothie instead.

Delightful corner shop within the mall. Look for it down the hall from the Lego shop. At 4:30 on Monday there was no line. Ordering was simple; the menu is posted and easy to follow. I appreciated getting to choose from four levels of sugar and the volume of ice. While I did not order a waffle, they smelled amazing; they come in four flavors and appear crispier than what I make at home. When ready, waffles are placed in a shaped and printed paper envelope to be handed to customers, SO CUTE!! I ordered mango jasmine green tea w boba and it is delicious. There's also little bits of mango in it, fun!!

First timers here visiting from vegas. We really like what we ordered. We ordered the milk tea with salted cheese foam, the brown sugar milk tea boba and the chocolate bubble waffle and all of it was good... there was a small line but it went by pretty fast...

Great customer service and awesome selection of drinks. They made sure we got the most out of our visit. Will be returning!

Wow, the bubble waffles are so yummy! I happen to stop by in the morning so it wasn't busy but that didn't last long. After doing some shopping on my way out was going to grab one for the road and the line wrapped outside along the side of the store. It is worth the wait :p They offer bubble waffles with various dip sauces. The cookies and cream are very good but can eat plain as well. They serve tea and smoothies. The size of the waffle is HUGE. It was about the size of my face. If you are in the area would recommend giving it a try.

The Bellevue mall is a trendy and hopping place with tons of great restaurant options. If you're in the mood for a Bubble Tea, however, Happy Lemon might be the only option but luckily it's a good one! Here's my take on the experience: Quality of food: Good. I tried their Classic Milk Tea (A1) along with the Original Bubble Waffle (H1). The milk tea was great and refreshing. I chose the "normal" sugar option which was a little too sweet for me. The Bubble Waffle was perfectly crispy, hot, and fun. Decor: okay. Even though their are chairs inside, I felt that the place is more or less designed for a quick grab and go. I don't remember much besides their being a curtain separating the front desk and the kitchen. Cleanliness: good. The tables looked clean. They do not have bathrooms. Service: good/chaotic. The cashier explained well the teas that go into the different bubble teas. The order pickup experience is a little hectic. I saw someone grab another person's order and just walk away. They were not checking if the number on the receipt matched the number on the cup. Also, chatty customers were holding off the employee from delivering the teas which created a backup. Price: a little bit high!. The teas were $5-$8 and the bubble waffle was $5.25. If you're in the mood for a quick snack of bubble tea and bubble waffle then Happy Lemon is a good option inside the mall.

The tiramisu pancakes were the standout of the meal and worth trying. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn't quite live up to the food. The staff was friendly, but the service was noticeably slow from start to finish. The restaurant was busy, though not so crowde. The dining room also feels a bit dated and uninspiring. It's quite dark, with no windows or views, and the dark furniture adds to the somewhat gloomy atmosphere.

Bellden Cafe has it all, we've already gone several times I'm obsessed with the ube mochi waffle, it is soooo delicious (not too sweet, incredible texture and flavor). The service is incredible, literally the people working there are the nicest people everrrr. After being recommended Bellden Cafe by a foodie friend for a quick meal, we headed over to get some takeout to eat during the game. Mr. Brioche ($11) - This sandwich starts with a rich toasted brioche bun, which is then slathered with some creamy and fatty aioli. A soft and tender, spiced breakfast patty is placed on top, charred just a tad to give some browning and develop flavor. Some eggs, cooked on the flat top in a circular mold which makes it perfectly conform to the size of the bun, is carefully placed on top of the meat, and then finally some swiss cheese cements the sweet vegetal microgreens atop. The bun is voluminous, especially noteworthy in height. The interior ingredients only reaches perhaps 1/3 the height of the bun, making it appear that the sandwich will be dry. But that's an impression soon deemed to be false, as there's more than enough moisture from the aioli and melted cheese to smooth things over. (4/5) I don't normally associate cafes, particularly ones that seem to lean more towards the drink side of things, to also serve good food. But overall, I came out pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food I ate. Bathrooms - Single unisex room.

This was while the place was practically empty, so I'm not sure what else could have been occupying their time. Second, I ordered the pork shoulder stir fry which wasn't bad but had several large pieces of pure fat & gristle in it that I felt a high quality restaurant would have taken out of the dish. It's indicative of lazy & careless food preparation skills. Also, the basmati rice was very under-cooked...some pieces were even crunchy. Lastly, after leaving the place, I realized that I accidentally left my sunglasses there. So I called later that evening to inquire if they had found them. I discovered they route all incoming calls to a bot that instantly made me feel unimportant and unappreciated. What's worse is it tried to connect me with someone in the restaurant, but kept looping back into its own messaging narrative. What an absolute PITA. This enables me to make a broader point: Restaurants have to get it through their heads that cutting costs has negative impact on customer experience, putting the lifeblood of their business into jeopardy. Take the widespread adoption of QR code-based menus during COVID...how many restaurants do you know actually switched back to real menus after COVID passed? The answer is very few. The reason why? They are too stingy to pony up the dough and ignore the benefit to the customer experience. They figure, 'people already know how to do that so why spend the money on printing up menus anymore?". They couldn't care less about what customers might actually enjoy more, and that's the real travesty. If restaurants are going to force their customers into a self-serve model (as so many have nowadays), then why bother tipping anyone? I am so fed up of a world where the idolatry of wealth has surpassed the appreciation and value of real, engaging human experiences. The Central Bar + Restaurant could help reverse this course if they ever decide to they put customer experience first instead of their own profits. UPDATE: Added one star because they actually had my shades...went ot go pick them up today.
