ORDER & TASTE: * menu seemed to have increased from the last time I visited the a different location. - Green tea with salted cheese: was ordered with 50% sweet and as always the salted cheese was delicious. - Mango boba green tea: boba was regular dark boba, it was a white boba but was not agar. I actually liked the boba in this drink. The drink it self was good but I thought I said "50% sweet" but oh my sticker said "less sweet" so not sure if it's the same sweetness but my drink was not very sweet. This review is for Happy Lemon but I'm honestly a little sad... maybe I didn't realize just how lemon-y every drink would be / thought the flavor would be a bit more subtle when combined with other ones. The Mango Lemon slushy was so sour/tart and insanely sweet at the same that I could only finish about 1/4 of it. The multiple flavors combined with the icyness were so strong to the point where they were borderline offensive to my average tastebuds, but if you're a lemon fan then maybe you'd be okay. Love the option to call ahead I use that often when I'm heading to work and need a tea to pick me up. Drinks here are always on point. The location is a little hard to find as you most likely wouldn't see it driving around the parking lot. I love the way they make their teas so much that I don't even cut it with milk. Their salted cheese is delicious but I try not to get it since I feel like it adds to many extra calories on top of getting boba. Let me just say first that I am giving an extra star for their bubble waffles and their boba being on point. After hearing the hype that Happy Lemon was known for their salted cheese topping and me being a fan of salted cheese I was more than willing to try it. I really really really wanted to like their signature drink. Alas it was not my cup of tea. I even tried drinking it the way it should be done but still did not do anything for me. The taste was really interesting. A friend suggested I mix the salted cheese into the drink instead so at that point it was tolerable. The drink itself was not bad but not a salted cheese fan. Great place for dessert after a nice spicy meal at Tofu Plus next door. I had the Milk Tea with Salted Cheese and had a few sips of my friend's Matcha Latte with Tiramisu Salted Cheese. Happy Lemon's cheese is one of the things worth dying for. My go-to is always the oolong with salted cheese. I swear no other boba place can ever copy the salted cheese here. This location is kind of janky tho. The restroom had no toilet paper or paper towels. The cashier was a little slow as well. I got the black tea with salted cheese. I liked that they had the top 10 most popular drinks -- it helped me navigate. It felt kind of like a rich, salty desserthad expected something more like Sharetea's Happy QQ family. I think if you want something creamy and rich, this is good. It was tasty, but just quite literally not quite my cup of tea :p But, Happy Lemon is a nice update to the previous boba shop that was here before. read more

We have been twice in person and ordered a few times through DoorDash, and honestly, the consistency at this location has wavered. (Dare I say consistently?) I have gotten the wrong order delivered, an entirely missing beverage (when we ordered 2, we got 1) and I can't say it's the delivery service or the Happy Lemon franchise location, however, I have delivered from other Happy Lemons and had no problem. I came here on day two of their three-day grand opening promotion where it was buy one get one free. Long line out the door but that was expected for such a promotion but it only took about 15 minutes to get inside. This place replaced the Verde that was previously here and it was turned into a Happy Lemon fairly quickly from what I recall. I ordered A8 Milk Tea with Salted Cheese ($3.75) and a large D5 Boba Milk Tea with Puff Cream ($4.25). No minimum amount to use your credit card just like every other Happy Lemon locations. Anyways, it took a while to call my number since a few people before us ordered so many drinks. The Milk Tea with Salted Cheese tasted good and had a good mix between sweet and salty. The Boba Tea with Puff Cream was a little sweeter than other Happy Lemon locations but still good in my opinion. I came back later when it was my birthday and it wasn't as busy as the three-day grand opening promotion. It was a hot day so there were a lot of people trying to stay inside. I ordered a large D4 Green Milk Tea ($3.75) and that was good to me. This will probably be the place I go to frequently even though there's a Happy Lemon closer to me. lol Good drinks here and definitely try the milk tea with salted cheese. I'll be back! read more

I'm a Happy Lemonier! Anywhere there's a Happy Lemon, I'm there! I just LOVE A2: which is their milk tea w/ Salted Cheese. HIGHLY Recommend. It's a well balanced combination of sweet and savory, but I guess if you're not into that you can get something else off of their menu. Their boba is a little bland in comparison to some other places, but the salted cheese is worth it! If you go to Happy Lemons often, like I do, be sure to get yourself a Power Card (a rewards card) so you can rack up points to earn your free drink. read more

They were having their grand opening BOGO drinks offer. When I got there the line was long. But it moved fast. The staff was efficient and friendly as they kept the line moving and the drinks coming. I ordered my drinks (Black Tea with Salted Cheese and House Blend Oolong Tea with Hand Peeled Grapefruit). The drinks were ready in a few minutes. They were refreshing and tasty on a hot summer night. I'll have to come back when the crowds/lines aren't so big/long. read more

Shout out to the workers here for remaking my drink because I forgot to add boba to it and took a sip of my drink before realizing how much I missed the boba taste! The girls here were super nice about it and even apologized for not reminding me when I had placed the order. It wasn't even their fault! I ordered the yakult green tea drink with 100% sweetness and 75% ice. It was so good. It was my first time getting it. I finished drinking it so quickly and wished I had another one. I love their salted cheese series. I tried their Matcha Latte with Tiramisu Salted Cheese and it was really good. I'm normally not a fan of Tiramisu, but the drink was good. I normally like happy lemon and haven't had a bad experience until my last visit. I ordered 2 pumps of cheese and the server said they couldn't do that with a regular size. I said that was weird, they always did that before.. but he insisted. So when he called my number, my drink was a large and it had... no cheese at all. I asked him and he thought I said to double the caffeine. Really, it's an honest mistake, I just wanted my correct drink. But instead, he said to pay $2 more so he can add the cheese which was HIS mistake, on top of me ordering a size I DIDN'T want, ON TOP OF WHICH I ALREADY TIPPED HIM $1.50. It was so annoying but I wanted my goddamn drink so I payed $2 and when he gave it back, IT ONLY HAD 1 PUMP. Are you kidding me? I was so exhausted from the exchange that I lost the will to go back again to fix it. My friends were tired too. Overall, what horrible customer service. I've gone multiple times and this was my first time seeing him so maybe he's new? When you make a mistake, don't expect your customer to pay for it. And at least listen to their order. Ridiculous. I'm so glad that Happy Lemon is slowly expanding throughout California. This is my first visit to this location, but I've previously tried the Happy Lemons in Cupertino and San Bruno, so I have something to compare this one to. When we came in around 11 a.m. on a Sunday, this Happy Lemon had just opened up. However, they seemed fully prepared to prepare orders. I ordered the freshly squeezed lemon black tea to stay awake on the road home, while my friends got a salted cheese Oreo latte and a matcha tiramisu latte. Our orders were out in less than 10 minutes (a rarity for Happy Lemons around the Bay, given how long the lines typically are.) My drink was only $4.50 and lasted me the better part of four hours. I really enjoyed the addition of lemon to the tea -- it kept the tea from getting too bitter toward the end. This drink is not super sweet to begin with, actually, so I was surprised at how the addition of lemon wedges and juice really changed the original flavor. True to its nature, it kept me caffeinated without getting jittery. My friends loved their lattes. My main disappointment is the lack of alternative milks, as other reviewers have discussed, for lactose-intolerant folks like me. All you need is to throw us a soymilk bone! read more

We love stopping by this happy lemon after a hike or long walk. They have a very efficient process, and our orders always come out fast and correct. My favorite drink is the tiramisu with cheese top! It's super sweet and always feels like a treat. I recently tried the tropical fruit special and dragon fruit with cream special. This plaza is crazy and shops are somewhat of a maze with the construction going on. I was surprised to see that Happy Lemon had no line compared to the Ten Ren that was packed. Solidly good and well-priced milk tea and cheese tea drinks! I will admit that I was, like many, skeptical of the salted cheese drinks at first, but it really does work. To be clear, the salted cheese is more of a thick, salty-sweet foam (kind of like a creama from Sharetea) than anything else. My personal favorite is the Black Tea with Salted Cheese. The sweetness and bitterness of the tea combined with the creaminess and saltiness of the tea makes for a unique and tasty experience. I've also tried their classic Pearl Milk Tea. It's good! This happy lemon location is prime! There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a Ranch 99 too. The store is generally pretty small with limited seating outdoors and indoors. Most people grab their drinks to go. There is 1-2 group tables inside along with some bar seating. They also provide 3 round tables outside for seating. It wasn't too sweet, and the two flavors balanced each other out. It has the same thickness as an avocado smoothie, but different flavors. You can tell they use fresh mango, because it doesn't have that overtly sweet syrupy taste to it. The bf tried a lemon slushy, and that was really good too.
