I left as a Happy Lemon. Lol I got the Mango Matcha with Lychee, it was soooo good. Burst of flavors, sweet, floral and fruity. 10/10 recommend. Only deducted one star because they lost my drink & had to make it again so it was a bit of a wait for me. But nonetheless they were nice and the drink was worth the wait !

Nice little spot -- our first time here and we'll definitely be back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The kids wanted a relaxed place to work on a school project after class, and this hit the mark: comfy atmosphere, friendly staff, and plenty of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu has tons of choices; we ordered four different drinks and every one was tasty and well-made. Don't miss the waffle with puff cream -- a must-try dessert. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great for studying, hanging out, or grabbing a sweet treat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

When we tried this place there were two people working behind the counter but they were quick and efficient, while still offering great customer service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It wasn't crowded and there were plenty of empty places to sit inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The smell was also amazing!!! The scent was sweet like that of a bakery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got 2 milk teas and then I went back to the counter to order a waffle, too. I had the oreo milk tea, plain, and our daughter got the Okinawa fresh milk boba tea. They don't kid or play around. I definitely got the cookies and cream drink that I wanted. The flavor was EXCELLENT!! No aftertaste at all. Our daughter seems to really be enjoying hers, as well. We all shared a chocolate bubble waffle, but I didn't actually get the dip to go along with it. It was nice. Not too strong, that's for sure. I LOVE it. I'm sure we'll be back again, plus it's pretty close to us anyway. I just don't think I knew anything about it before. I found it here on Yelp.

One of my go-to's whenever I'm craving boba! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is small with only a few tables, but I'm usually getting the drinks to-go anyway.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The only thing I wish they had were savory snacks, but it saves me the temptation. 75% sweetness is perfect and I also get less ice. This place is located in a little plaza, but it wasn't hard finding parking.

The bubble waffles was SO good- you must try it with the salted cheese. It tastes like cream cheese frosting. The waffle was made fresh, had a perfect sweetness and was crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle. The boba was great! Definitely recommend.

My favorite drink! The salted tea is not too salty and just the right amount of sweet. I get the jasmine green tea unsweetened and mix in the salted cheese. So good!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cute, clean and quick.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Stopped real quick to pick up drinks while I was in this city. Servers and service was nice and efficient. I got the passionfruit Mango green tea with added Mango chunks and boba. It was both tart and sweet, which I loved. Will definitely be back!

first time trying happy lemon here. order through app, go to the store, take them, and leave. try to enjoy it at home. i used to order the mango boba green tea but i think the taste is a bit different from here, cannot really taste the mango and the mango pulp is also not much. for kumquat lemon green tea with lychee jelly is quite refreshing ~ recommended drink i think...

The was the new mango drink

The service was and my drink was great the new mango sago drink was the best. I will be coming back soon

Ordered: Okinawa Milk Tea Boba with Aloe (non-caffeinated) It's clean and spacious. The main reason I went here is because their menu clearly showed that drinks can be adjusted by ice level and sweetness. There were photos of two other boba spots on Yelp. They didn't show whether ice level and sweetness can be adjusted so I avoided those spots. Happy Lemon also noted which drinks were non-caffeinated. I ordered the Okinawa Milk Tea. It tastes good. I was somewhat upset at the person who took my order because they didn't ask me if I wanted to adjust my sugar and ice level. I'm annoyed at myself for forgetting. I remembered right before she sealed it. She scraped a little syrup and some ice after I told her I want 50% sugar and 75% ice. It's cool she tried. I tried the drink in my car; it was too sweet for me. I should have gone back and asked for a refund or remake my drink. Will I come back here? Maybe if I happen to be around the area. I recommend that employees ask customers about adjusting their sugar and ice. I have health issues. Limiting my sugar helps. When I got home, I diluted the milk tea. 3/5

Just last year I was new to Boba and now I have a favorite spot lol. Life comes at you fast. This was my first time at this location but I'm happy to report it's just as good as the Concord one. Delicious!

Their salted cheese topping is super good, so get that. It's similar to cheesecake mousse, it's very light, sweet, creamy, and at the same time salty to balance the sweetness. It's so good when mixed in with your drink - whether it's regular tea or milk tea, but I do like their milk tea better with their salted cheese topping. But their boba is cooked spot on too - soft yet chewy and it's perfectly sweetened. I like getting them both with my milk tea. The milk tea is super creamy and delicious as well. The service at this place was pretty quick and staff were friendly. The store looked pretty standard when we visited it last week; it wasn't too big but it provided enough seats for dine in customers. The store was clean.

I like the strawberry black tea with boba. I am able to order my tea and receive a drink that is not too sweet, which I prefer.

The Okinawa tea here is my new favorite boba anywhere. One sip and I knew I'm going to have to go back for more one day.

When will you offer taro balls at this location?

Some locations are different, this happy lemon doesn't sell taro balls, but their D6 comes with boba instead!

Happy lemon used to use a loyalty card system, but now they've created an app which can be used in the USA just called happy lemon

My husband arrived around 8:10 AM, after the store's posted opening time of 8:00 AM, only to find the business completely closed with no communication whatsoever. No call. No email. No cancellation notice. Nothing. What followed was somehow worse. I called the store multiple times throughout the day and left several voicemails that were never returned. I also emailed both the location and corporate customer service and received no response. Corporate didn't answer their phones either. All of this over a $35 order that the business happily charged for but never fulfilled. Today, I went into the store in person to ask for a refund and was met with attitude and defensiveness from the manager instead of accountability or even a simple apology. I was told they "do answer their phones" despite my multiple unanswered calls and voicemails. I was then told they could not issue a refund because it had been "more than two days," even though the delay was entirely caused by their complete lack of response and failure to handle the issue. The store being unexpectedly closed is frustrating enough. Ignoring customers afterward and then treating them poorly when they ask for their money back is unacceptable. I'm still waiting to hear from the "other manager" or "boss" who is supposedly able to process my refund. Who apparently already had my information but was "too busy" to respond to me sooner. Give me a break. At this point, it's not even about the $35. It's about the complete lack of professionalism, communication, and basic customer service.

Person at the door was responsible crowd control - keeping it to 10 people max in the store. The smoothie makers were bringing out trayfuls of smoothies to a counter to the side. After ordering, we took our receipt and picked up our smoothies at the counter. The employees were running a well-oiled machine to get quickly through the long line of people. Very impressed. The smoothies themselves - extremely good for $1. If I had to pay full price on these (my real opinion), I thought the Mango was very good, but a little on the sweet and runny side. The strawberry was a little lacking in flavor (almost no strawberry, a little banana) and too icy. After drinking two of them halfway, we combined to make a half mango/half strawberry, which turned out really well.

I started going to Jamba Juice when they first moved into the Crescent Ave location in Pleasant Hill, when I was still attending the Teen Scene in Pleasant Hill Park. It's certainly been a minute since those days, and while I've been to this location three times this year, I don't know why I keep coming back. I think I'm searching for something that no longer exists - a reasonably-priced, fruit-packed meal in a cup. It feels like each time I go to 'Jamba' (now ostensibly not a Juice place), the menu looks more and more like a fast-food dessert menu - which I'd have no problem with if I weren't wanting the good old Jamba Juice of yore. I'm now finding myself browsing smoothie recipes on the Internet, ready to dust off the blender. If you're in a pinch with the kids & need a quick sugar fix, Jamba will cut it. If you're looking for relative health, ditch the waffle-whip bowls & stay home.

I assume it's true because their cup sizing has changed which I'm sadly disappointed. It's more open space/spacious and I had to create a new rewards account. Drink menu names changed slightly on kiosk and on the wall. They don't have that tacky shelf with plush, stuff, Knick knacks, for sale anymore. Drink still good, I don't think recipe has changed. I heard, then seen it for myself, the instagram post and stories shared by friends, of people dancing and partying at the shop late nights after hours. Then when I went in, also still had the sign up that said they did dance concert or hosted DJ nights at the shop. But Im also assuming it was under the old management and they must've got caught something doing something illegal or something they weren't suppose to be doing. The minus one star is for the cup sizing. Bring it back! Main reason why I love coming here, a good price for big cup size. Now it's like every other boba shop. Which is fine, but I won't go out of my way to come get boba here like I used to.

Milk Tea Lab is now under new ownership at this location, and having been visiting this spot quite…read moreoften throughout that time I've become more than familiar with the quality and expectations of this place. This was my first time visiting them again since the ownership change so it's been a minute. What I see here now is just depressing, not just because the place was empty, but it's now devoid of anything that felt like a spot someone would want to hangout at. No music, when I got in there was one person waiting for their food and nobody was even at the front counter for minutes before somebody finally came out from the back. Ordering is just through the kiosk now, which isn't a bad thing. The part that was really rough was the reason why I even came here; the boba. I got a regular milk tea which now they only have a single size. I miss the extra large size they used to have, but oh well. The next issue comes with how much the boba actually costs. They may have gotten rid of the extra large cup sizes, but they're still charging the almost the same amount for it in a much smaller cup. What a deal, right? And we get to the actual drink. When the person making the drink after receiving your order finishes within a minute of making it, it's never a good sign. Why is that? Well, they had premade jug of milk tea ready to pour out for your tasting pleasure. When you have a premade jug of milk tea, it's never a good sign. While I've had them at other places that have done this before, and it's ranged from bad to mediocre, the one here at Milk Tea Lab, now, was in a word, rancid. It was incredibly gross with absolutely no redeeming qualities to it. I generally try not to be so harsh, but this was really not it and I couldn't even finish the boba because of how bad the milk tea was. It's sad to see how big of a dropoff this spot has become compared to what it used to be. This isn't like when they first opened where there were only 2-3 boba spots right next to them. Now there's at least a handful of options within a few minutes away, and dozens of spots within a mile or two, and this is what they're pushing out? It's a shame but this Milk Tea Lab which was their starter store is no longer a place I would ever go back to for boba. It's time is now past with this new ownership.
