I used the self ordering kiosk to get a tiramisu cream matcha latte. I enjoyed it and my boyfriend also liked it. Service was really quick. The space is very big. There's lots of parking in the lot. The machine made ordering super easier. The pictures were really helpful

This place would be an easy 4 stars if the tables were cleaned more often. Nothing bad to say about the drinks because it's usually consistent across the board. I do like the wall decoration though. This location looks better than the other ones I've been to recently.

They have a decent strawberry tea and cheese foam option, so I don't mind coming to Happy Lemon if it's the only boba place in the area. However, overall quality of this franchise seems to be consistently meh. It's like the QR code scanner at every location I go to is always broken, so I'm forced to talk to an employee to order and get points. The tables are usually dirty and the staff don't always clean it up frequently. And 0% ice is not an option for my drink.

I mobile ordered and they made my drink on time but forgot my waffle. I waited an additional 10 minutes and my waffle was raw. Not ok...

I mobile ordered. My drink was ready in time, but the employee said a few more minutes for my bubble waffle. I waited an additional 10 minutes and they gave it to me raw. Unacceptable

Happy Lemon is one of my favorite boba places. Service is fast and friendly. Came here yesterday on a busy afternoon. The place is always packed, music playing, blenders blending, people chatters. I never had a bad drink with this place, its always a hit! The only thing I'd like to say is; some Happy Lemon places serve fried chicken, this place should too. It would be greater than great. 4.5 stars close to 5. Always gonna come back. Have the app, so you can get a free drink after ordering 10 drinks.

Disappointing lid
Fanny D.

This was my favorite local boba place for years, until... I always get a drink with salted cheese and always appreciated that they had the clear lid with a hole for straw and a separate sipping hole. It makes it such a great experience to be able to get just the amount of salted cheese in your sip without having to do some awkward straw gymnastics. But this time... to my horror, they gave me my drink with a regular sealed plastic lid initially. I asked for the "other lid" and they gave me this monstrosity. Clear plastic lid, but only a hole for the straw. No sipping hole. That defeats the purpose of this lid completely. There is another indent on the lid for the hole plug which serves no purpose for me. So just like most other boba places, we have to go back to doing straw gymnastics to get the salted cheese. I know, first world problems. But the prior lid was so functional. It's a shame. Aside from that, the drink is still good. My go to is the Oreo milk tea with boba and salted cheese, 25% ice and 50% sweet is perfect. I find their boba always has a great texture and taste. Some tables and seats inside.

A great place to get boba in the area. You can order on the self order kiosk or with one of the workers. I like how they have a big menu so if you're not into teas you can also get smoothies. They also have a lot of toppings to choose from. The wait can be long especially if they only have two workers. However, their seating area is big and kept clean.

Happy Lemon is a staple spot. It's basically the better version of chain boba. Like how Quickly's is to Mcdonalds, this could be considered like Habit/Wendys. They're few around, but better in quality. The spot is located in a plaza behind walmart, it's kinda busy since there's an entrance to the freeway and just hella businesses. The store is small, but there is a mobile ordering station and a regular counter. The workers there are nice, they're working. Cant complain. Sometimes it's cold inside, but it aint bad.

Service was fast. Lots of yummy boba choices. Loved the choices for the day. Place was clean and organized.

Now I could be mistaken, but isn't Happy Lemon's little girl mascot with the blonde Buster Brown bob related to the giant robot doll in "Squid Game"? Don't you think the resemblance is uncanny? That may help explain why I didn't see the familiar Happy Lemon statue at this spot. They just have the mural with her shoe button eyes staring at me like death ray lasers. STOP LOOKING AT ME! AARGHHH!! Clearly the trauma forced me to order the $6 Large Milk Tea Oreo with Tiramisu Salted Cheese (photo: https://bit.ly/3YEGkDZ). I did notice bits of Oreo in my tall drink but otherwise it lacked distinction from the other flavors. Maybe that's why the girl in the mural yelled at me to order the $6.50 Chocolate Bubble Waffle, a gigantically spongey confection (photo: https://bit.ly/3XthIN6). At least that's my version of the story, and I'm sticking to it. TEA/WAFFLE - 3 stars...interesting-sounding flavors but not transcendent AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...where is she? WHERE IS SHE?? SERVICE - 3 stars...pretty transactional TOTAL - 3 stars...Red Light! Green Light! RELATED - Exploring San Leandro? Here's a collection of places I've visited and reviewed: https://bit.ly/2UOvM6X

Average Happy Lemon location! The inside looks quite open and clean. Not many people there at late hours. There is a machine where you get a receipt. Drinks overall are ok, same as you'd expect at any other Happy Lemon locations. Same for price, pretty much consistent across other chain stores. Serve staff are ok friendly. Not much interaction other than ordering and paying. Overall, and OK Happy Lemon place

I have been to several places that offer acai bowls, and Main Squeeze in Alameda does a great job!…read more Of course, the place could use more seating, but I'm okay with taking my bowl to-go. I was there on a warm Sunday, just to try their acai bowls. There's four acai bowls on the menu board, so I asked the gentleman behind the counter....."which is the best acai bowl?" With confidence, he said...."the Oasis Bowl." He likes the Oasis Bowl because it features seasonal fruit. That means the recipe and taste experience can change with the seasons. When I was there, the seasonal fruit was pineapple. This place makes a good acai bowl. For $13.00, it's not overflowing with fruit toppings. Instead, it's packed with fresh fruit, crispy granola, chia seeds, honey and coconut flakes on top of a acai base. It's definitely a meal, not a fruit bowl snack. The interior is very clean. It has a small outdoor patio. According to signage, there's no indoor seating. Main Squeeze is located near the Park Street Downtown. It's walking distance from the Alameda Theatre, public parking lot, and Alameda High School.

This place is very hit or miss. The quality of the items are great and it's the only place like it…read morein the area. Problem is, this business is ran like it knows it. I've had several complaints about things being in my bowl and dishes that were not ordered (and some I had no idea what it was) and every time I speak to a manager/employee about it it's just a roundabout "there's no way we do that so I don't know how it happened." The employees are obviously not held to a standard at all if that's how the manager approaches complaints. The employees are in the back 99.9% of the time which means they're more than likely back there living it up. Which wouldn't be an issue if there obviously wasn't signs of distraction, lack of simple detail, and a lack of caring, not just according to me, but according to a lot of people. And there's no view of people preparing your food as well which for some can be worrisome. Anytime quality of service and food is up and down as such, it's a sign of bad training and accountability. I've worked in food for 13 years so I'm just speaking from a standard I know what it should be, especially when people are spending their money to trust you with their food, health and nutrition. I've given this places several chances cause when it's done right, it is amazing. This place has a lot of great potential but needs new form of management whether that be a change of attitude or new management in general, quick. Because as a soon as a new spot opens around with better and more consistent service, it'll be playing keep up.

Order: 1 BBQ Chicken Bánh Mì…read more1 Mango Cane Nước Mia Total: $16.09 The Bánh Mì was PHENOMENAL! The bread was so soft yet crunchy and flaky--I could tell it was extremely fresh. The BBQ chicken was very tender with no fat and cooked with delicious spices. Just incredible. The veggies were also very fresh and crunchy. With every bite it just kept getting better. It's a pretty big-sized Bánh Mì--you can easily eat half and save the other half for later. The mango cane drink was delicious and very refreshing. I enjoyed every sip of it. Food: 10/10. The service was excellent! The young ladies working there were very welcoming and sweet. One even grabbed me a stool to sit on while I waited for my order, which was very thoughtful. The wait was not long 5-10 minutes. Not many customer around 12pm on Friday. Customer service: 10/10. The ambiance is cute. It's located in the heart of downtown Hayward near City Hall. The establishment is tiny, but they do have stools where you can sit and enjoy your Bánh Mì it's almost like being in Vietnam. There's no outside seating. Parking can definitely be challenging. You can park in the Lucky's supermarket lot, across the street in the parking structure, or if you're lucky, find street parking right in front of the establishment. This might be my favorite Bánh Mì spot. I will definitely be coming back. I just hope one day their hours and days expand. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

On my 1st visit: Calamansi sugar cane - it was okay. I feel…read morelike you can't really taste the sugar cane. I tried to order egg rolls but they said they didn't have it. It was unclear if it's sold out at 10am or if they no longer sell it. On my 2nd visit: I opted for just the original sugarcane (without additional pureee or other ingredients) it's not listed on my menu, so you just have to ask for it. It definitely tasted better than the calamansi sugarcane. Considering they were not busy at all, I expected this to be made fresh but they poured it directly from an open container from their refrigerator... Tried their banh mi this time, both the chicken and pork. Both tasted like quality meats. But the daikon and carrots were cut way too thick! Never seen such a thick cut of carrots. They need to julienne or even fine julienned cut them! I think if they were to make this change to the sandwich, I would be a happy return customer.
