Happy lemon is a go-to spot for delicious and refreshing boba drinks. One thing to note is that this location is very small and can be busy on the weekends. I got the mango lemon slush with boba and it had a perfect balance of tart lemon flavor and sweet mango flavor. My boyfriend got the new dragonfruit lychee drink with salted cheese and it was nicely creamy and fruity.

Happy Lemon is having a collab with Genshin Impact which is cool. Their special drinks and genshin merch combo was pretty expensive. Definitely not worth it for the price. However, the drinks itself were good. Got 2 of the Tea-ppucchino with Sky Cream and Oreos and also a classic brown sugar boba. Drinks came out quickly even though they were pretty busy.

My dairy free, low sugar, caffeine free taro drink with boba (the boba probably has sugar). Very good!

Gluten free/Dairy free: I have walked by and wanted to go in. I am not someone who can do caffeine after 12 and usually when I'm walking by its way after 12. This time I walked in a little bit earlier. I was surprised to find they had a menu to cater to those who don't want caffeine or dairy. I was so grateful for that. The gal behind the counter was very kind and patient. There's not a whole lot of seating however usually you grab a drink and walk around because there's a lot of seating outside . I would say if you're near the area stop by, even if it's after 12.

Happy lemon is a fan favorite of mine for boba and alike drinks! They always have new and interesting flavor options however I stay pretty basic and love their milk tea and also any lemonade no matter the weather outside. The employees are always helpful and can pretty much make any adjustments to sweetness, add ins or ice level! There is very limited seating- a small loveseat and two chair with a table. Probably not the best spot to meet up friends.

This my second time visiting Happy Lemon and I have loved it both times! This location is in a really nice area, but doesn't have much room inside to sit-just one table and a small couch. I had to wait a few minutes for my order to be taken, but my drink came out quickly. I ordered my drink 50% sweet but felt like it was still a little too sweet so if you're someone who doesn't want it too sweet I'd definitely go with 30% sweet. I love this location and will be back!

So happy to find this place as we are originally from the Eastside of Seattle and frequented Happy Lemon ALLOT! Like too much allot . Their bubble waffles don't compare to anything else and their dipping sauces . Their teas also make any other bubble tea company pale in comparison. I really wish they weren't so far away and in Vancouver, WA or at least downtown PDX so we had the opportunity to frequent them more often. PLEASE BRING A HAPPY LEMON TO THE DOWNTOWN VANCOUVER WATERFRONT!

Yogurt drinks. Tempted, but didn't try.

We stopped in here to grab a boba; they have many options. It took awhile for them to take our order but maybe we were standing in the wrong spot? Siegel did ask us about our preference for sweetness an offer to customize the drinks to our liking.

Taking off one star because there are definitely some drinks that are just ok. That being said, I LOVE the mango matcha smoothie. I usually get it with soy or almond milk and mango crystal boba. Also really appreciate the milk alternatives here :)

Yummy boba & treats | great location We're pretty happy to have Happy Lemon at Bridgeport. Sometimes we don't even shop at the outdoor mall and come here specifically for Happy Lemon. It's also a favorite with our toddler. Here is our go-to order: Matcha latte with salted cheese (regular size, regular sweet level) Black tea with salted cheese (large size, 50% sweet level) Matcha and redbean bubble waffle Chocolate bubble waffle The matcha latte with salted cheese is exactly how I like it. It's not overly sweet, just right. I feel like if you want to have more of a bitter taste, change the level of sweetness. The black tea with salted cheese is great with 50% sweet level as well. Not too sweet. We love the bubble waffles too! I feel like the bubbles are equivalent to a good bite. My daughter loves these. The matcha and redbean is a good combo. If you're looking to grab boba and run errands, pull up curbside right outside the store. You can park for about 10 minutes. They also sell cute pins and have a reward point system tied to your cell number.

I needed a dessert pick me up, and tried the bubble waffle, tasty and not sweet which I like. Reminds me of the fair. Warm custard like yum

I've been to many other happy lemons and I have to say this one is a bit disappointing. The drinks were just not that great and the place had very sticky floors which felt very uncomfortable. The strawberry drink didn't have much of a strawberry taste to it and the seeds were very annoying to drink. I would likely not come here again unless I really craved boba and was shopping around bridgeport.

Ube Fresh Milk with Taro Ball $6.75
    Tiffany D.

This was my first time trying Happy Lemon and I think this is one of my favorite places for boba now! We all got the Ube with fresh milk and taro balls and all enjoyed it. The taste was really unique. I thought it was going to be a milky drink but it was thicker. The taro balls are like boba but softer and less chewy with taro flavor. It's pricier than other boba places but not horrible if you go once in a while. Looking forward to trying other drinks on the menu.

We first discovered HAPPY LEMON in Seattle, and were blown away by their Ube milk tea with taro pearls and bubble waffles. So we were pleasantly surprised to find a store in the Tualatin area. We ordered Ube milk tea with taro pearls, a dark brown sugar boba milk tea, and two bubble waffles. All tasted really great. We ordered 1/2 sugar and 1/2 ice on our milk teas and they turned out as expected. The bubble waffles were crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside, and were delicious! Overall, I'm really impressed by HAPPY LEMON. it makes very decent and authentic milk tea, and it's now my go to bubble tea place! I would definitely recommend it!!

I'm been searching for strong delicious coffee for a while now…read more I recently was in starbucks near my house, not where I would want to go for coffee. I asked them this question, and they said you could get a latte or americano. How would so much milk equal strong coffee, anyways it didn't work out. I recalled this place, and that they have Vietnamese coffee.... Now that is strong, and also sweet which is just what I've been searching for. So we came by. My wife got a fruit tea which she said was really good, and I got my strong coffee. I was slightly concerned that it would be so strong my stomach would have issues, but this wasn't the case. It was perfect and also not crazy sweet, like I've had before. They really know what they are doing. The guy at the counter was serious looking but also friendly. The people behind us brought him flowers and then he had a big smile. Sooo, I you want to see a smile bring him some flowers, it was also valentines day, to be honest. If you like coffee with actual flavor, come here. I'm wondering if they sell decaf. I do really want to come back and get some salted egg cream!

It may have just been our experience, but the first impression wasn't great. Location - If you're not familiar with the area, I highly recommend using GPS because it's tucked away on the corner of a large apartment complex and is easy to miss. It's essentially hidden. There are fewer than a small handful of guest parking spots in the complex, and the rest are reserved for residents. Street parking is available, but that's limited as well. Service - This is the primary reason for the rating. The staff member who helped us came across as less than friendly. Since it was our first time, we mentioned we were leaning toward one drink and just wanted to confirm a few things about less ice and size. He responded with "What drink?" and proceeded as if we were ready to order, without really addressing our questions. It wasn't the words themselves, but the tone and approach that felt rude. When I later asked for a receipt, he pointed to the tablet screen where it mentioned receipts would be emailed, though he did eventually hand me a printed copy. Overall, the interaction just didn't feel welcoming. Drinks - We ordered the Ube Vietnamese coffee with less ice, though it still came with quite a bit of ice. The ube was more of a thick cream consistency, which just isn't personally my preference. The Vietnamese coffee was strong, similar to what you would typically find elsewhere.

There are two kiosks for easy ordering. We walked in just a couple of minutes after they opened on a Monday and were the first customers inside. House Blend Pearl Milk Tea, 10% Sweet, 30% Ice w/ Boba ($6.25) - I'll start by saying that 10% is not nearly enough for this drink, totally unlike the Lynnwood location where anything over 10% sweet is cloyingly sweet for me. I ended up asking for a small cup of syrup on the side and titrated the drink until I thought it was sweet enough. My guess is that it took until around 50% sweet. With that out of the way, the flavor is identical to what I've had before. Rich malty taste with plenty of body. It's a very solid milk tea. This hechalou only has sugar syrup soaked boba, not a choice of honey or brown sugar boba as in Lynnwood. My guess is this is one of the reasons why the sweetness level is so different. Probably honey and/or brown sugar soak adds more sweetness to the drink than whatever soak they use here. The boba is a little firmer than Lynnwood and isn't as flavorful. Still miles ahead of most boba shops in the US though. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea, 10% Sweet, 30% Ice w/ Boba ($7.05) - Again, this one isn't sweet enough and I had to add more sugar. The drink itself is strongly flowery, again very consistent with the other location. It's a very solid drink. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 This location of Hechalou still serves some top tier drinks. I'll just have to remember the next time I visited to get 50% sweet rather than 10%. Bathrooms - Single unisex room.

The matcha flavor is very earthy and leans more bitter than sweet, which I personally enjoyed. However, if you're not a fan of strong earthy matcha flavors, you may want to try a different waffle option instead. The tea was really good as well. The cafe seems really popular with families and is also a great spot to hang out with friends. If you prefer not to order at the counter, they also have kiosks available for self-ordering.

Results- - Canned (not fresh) peaches used in drink. This may have caused weird aftertaste that does not have that familiar peach flavor like other places. - Flavor is way too sweet for 50%. - Light ice was done correctly When I walked away I quickly realized that they did not add my crystal boba toppings to my drink. I just had a few slices of lemons. After walking back to let them know, the girl who prepared my drink admitted to the guy that I questioned the issue about that she forgot to add it. No apologies from the girl directly and it was passive but only from the guy whom I mentioned the issue to. They have a lot of young kids working here and it looks like they work fast but they need to read the ingredients to fulfill the order correctly and to be consistent. I may give this place another try but will be sorely disappointed if they miss the mark again.
