Happy lemon is a go-to spot for delicious and refreshing boba drinks. One thing to note is that this location is very small and can be busy on the weekends. I got the mango lemon slush with boba and it had a perfect balance of tart lemon flavor and sweet mango flavor. My boyfriend got the new dragonfruit lychee drink with salted cheese and it was nicely creamy and fruity.

This my second time visiting Happy Lemon and I have loved it both times! This location is in a really nice area, but doesn't have much room inside to sit-just one table and a small couch. I had to wait a few minutes for my order to be taken, but my drink came out quickly. I ordered my drink 50% sweet but felt like it was still a little too sweet so if you're someone who doesn't want it too sweet I'd definitely go with 30% sweet. I love this location and will be back!

Gluten free/Dairy free: I have walked by and wanted to go in. I am not someone who can do caffeine after 12 and usually when I'm walking by its way after 12. This time I walked in a little bit earlier. I was surprised to find they had a menu to cater to those who don't want caffeine or dairy. I was so grateful for that. The gal behind the counter was very kind and patient. There's not a whole lot of seating however usually you grab a drink and walk around because there's a lot of seating outside . I would say if you're near the area stop by, even if it's after 12.

Happy Lemon is having a collab with Genshin Impact which is cool. Their special drinks and genshin merch combo was pretty expensive. Definitely not worth it for the price. However, the drinks itself were good. Got 2 of the Tea-ppucchino with Sky Cream and Oreos and also a classic brown sugar boba. Drinks came out quickly even though they were pretty busy.

Happy lemon is a fan favorite of mine for boba and alike drinks! They always have new and interesting flavor options however I stay pretty basic and love their milk tea and also any lemonade no matter the weather outside. The employees are always helpful and can pretty much make any adjustments to sweetness, add ins or ice level! There is very limited seating- a small loveseat and two chair with a table. Probably not the best spot to meet up friends.

So happy to find this place as we are originally from the Eastside of Seattle and frequented Happy Lemon ALLOT! Like too much allot . Their bubble waffles don't compare to anything else and their dipping sauces . Their teas also make any other bubble tea company pale in comparison. I really wish they weren't so far away and in Vancouver, WA or at least downtown PDX so we had the opportunity to frequent them more often. Taking off one star because there are definitely some drinks that are just ok. That being said, I LOVE the mango matcha smoothie. I usually get it with soy or almond milk and mango crystal boba. Also really appreciate the milk alternatives here :)

Yummy boba & treats | great location We're pretty happy to have Happy Lemon at Bridgeport. Sometimes we don't even shop at the outdoor mall and come here specifically for Happy Lemon. It's also a favorite with our toddler. Here is our go-to order: Matcha latte with salted cheese (regular size, regular sweet level) Black tea with salted cheese (large size, 50% sweet level) Matcha and redbean bubble waffle Chocolate bubble waffle The matcha latte with salted cheese is exactly how I like it. It's not overly sweet, just right. I feel like if you want to have more of a bitter taste, change the level of sweetness. The black tea with salted cheese is great with 50% sweet level as well. Not too sweet. We love the bubble waffles too! I feel like the bubbles are equivalent to a good bite. My daughter loves these. The matcha and redbean is a good combo. If you're looking to grab boba and run errands, pull up curbside right outside the store. You can park for about 10 minutes. They also sell cute pins and have a reward point system tied to your cell number.

This was my first time trying Happy Lemon and I think this is one of my favorite places for boba now! We all got the Ube with fresh milk and taro balls and all enjoyed it. The taste was really unique. I thought it was going to be a milky drink but it was thicker. The taro balls are like boba but softer and less chewy with taro flavor. It's pricier than other boba places but not horrible if you go once in a while. Looking forward to trying other drinks on the menu.

I've been to many other happy lemons and I have to say this one is a bit disappointing. The drinks were just not that great and the place had very sticky floors which felt very uncomfortable. The strawberry drink didn't have much of a strawberry taste to it and the seeds were very annoying to drink. I would likely not come here again unless I really craved boba and was shopping around bridgeport.

We first discovered HAPPY LEMON in Seattle, and were blown away by their Ube milk tea with taro pearls and bubble waffles. So we were pleasantly surprised to find a store in the Tualatin area. We ordered Ube milk tea with taro pearls, a dark brown sugar boba milk tea, and two bubble waffles. All tasted really great. We ordered 1/2 sugar and 1/2 ice on our milk teas and they turned out as expected. The bubble waffles were crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside, and were delicious! Overall, I'm really impressed by HAPPY LEMON. it makes very decent and authentic milk tea, and it's now my go to bubble tea place! I would definitely recommend it!!

I'm really glad that Happy Lemon is finally here in Oregon!!! They have the best bubble waffle in the Portland/Seattle area. Best thing is Happy Lemon's bubble waffle have lacy, crispy edges, and half-hollow eggy, soft and chewy centers - exactly the way bubble waffles are in Hong Kong where I grew up in. Very authentic! Each bubble waffle takes approximately 10 minutes (about 4 mins cook time and 5 minutes cool off time). Cool off is a must or else it won't crisp up. It's worth the wait. Today was my third time there since they opened. Drinks and waffle are consistently good. I had the classic milk tea with 50% sugar today, love their black milk tea, it's strong and rich. Their Matcha Avocado smoothie is super good as well - must try! Can't wait for the Beaverton location to open up as it's closer for me!! read more

The taste of the milk tea today is super different. As if I'm drinking water. Bobba or the pearls themselves don't have any sweetness taste. Been coming here twice thrice a week so I know the taste of what I'm coming back for. They replace my order coz it doesnt taste any sweetness for a 100% sugar. And its still the same. Disappointed! We came here first time during their grand opening, ordered 15 drinks and 5 waffles, some drinks got messed up. Ordered some puff cream to dip the waffles and they charged $3/ea (got freaked out when looked at receipt). I asked for bags or boxes to carry all the drinks but they only had drink carriers which torn out as soon as I got to the car, and it was terrible to manage them safe the way back home. Came back 2 weeks later and puff cream was $1/ea now?!? I also got 1 free drink but the cashier free the waffle instead (coz it's cheaper). Was so excited when HL finally made it to Portland but not as expected, so disappointed! Will not return. Reply to the business owner: I ordered 2 puff cream, and here the receipt. read more

Happy Lemon stands out from the others, the teas taste fresh and full of flavor with every sip. The first time visiting I ordered a milk tea with Oreo puff Creme and was blown away! Now I usually get the mango or grapefruit green tea because of the hotter weather. One thing I won't forget is the waffles, with a semi crunchy exterior and soft inside complimented perfectly with the puff Creme they sell I was over satisfied. I was so happy to hear that a Happy Lemon opened in the Portland area! Happy Lemon is one of my favorite places to get boba. Unfortunately, they dont have the Mango Matcha drink at this location, but I'm crossing my fingers that they will one day. We came during their grand opening so we could get the BOGO slushy drink, but we have also returned whenever we are in the area. I personally enjoy the cream puff boba drink, while my partner enjoys their regular milk tea with boba. I love their salted cheese drinks too but haven't ordered it at this location yet. Their bubble waffle is also great! I always leave Happy Lemon as a happy lemon :) read more

I'm not even sure if there was a hype to this place but I thought it was like any other drink/dessert/snack place. Even though I was the 2nd person in the shop, I still waited about 10 minutes for 2 drinks. I thought it was pretty slow but my drink turned out ok. I don't think this is staple for me to come back every time but glad there's something at Bridgeport. read more

Happy Lemon introduced the beauty of cheese foam to me about eight years ago and changed my life. So happy they finally opened one in the PDX! Ordered a boba milk tea and a matcha mango smoothie both 30% sweet. The milk tea was excellent! The matcha mango smoothie was way way too sweet. I don't know if my drink my mixed up with someone else's or what, but both drinks at 30% should have similar sweetness and that was not the case. I would come back but def not get the matcha mango. Store is clean but very tiny and cramped. Makes the ordering and picking up process kind of annoying. read more

Went on a Wednesday afternoon when only 1 other person ordered ahead of me. It took 30 minutes to get my order. The location is new, so I understand they are working out the operations. The store interior was extremely warm...i suggest turning up the AC for the comfort of your customers while they order. After I received my order, I noticed I received someone else's drink so I had to wait for them to remake it again. However, the remake was still incorrect but I did not want to hold up the other customers waiting anymore either so I just took the drink. The boba milk tea had no tea flavor at all...much too milky for my taste and the bobas were overcooked. The lemon teas and slushies were much too sweet for my taste, however, I could see how they would be very refreshing once you've dialed in your preferred sweetness level. The waffle consistency was spot on. However, I had absolutely no red beans in my matcha red bean waffle. I would recommend the regular waffle, however. Current times do not allow for seating inside, but in the future, just know there is very little seating available. read more

Sam was amazing. I just met her but it felt like she was my lost twin. Her customer service was great and she is very funny and professional. I barely give tips, but her service was so good that I gave her 30% and felt like an understatement. I want to come back and I hope that when I do, she is running the place. Hey! I'm so glad to see Happy Lemon open a location in PDX area. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm out in Hillsboro/Beaverton area I'd probably frequent this establishment more often. The drinks were delicious (tried both lemon tea and the classic boba MT) even with custom sugar ice adjustments. Staff was polite and nice. One con was that it took forever for my drinks to be made even tho there was hardly anyone else waiting for their order (a couple waiting for their drinks) vs the 3 employees hustling to make our 3 drinks..... read more

Love their drinks - the best bubble tea around. Wish they had food (besides just waffles). Also the space is so tight and hard to know who has ordered and who hasn't. Placed an order on door dash and picked up at the time it said it would be ready, but they hadn't even started it yet. I had a crying baby in the car so asked to just cancel the order, but they didn't know how so I waited for it - not to mention paid the higher price for door dash order without the convenience. read more

I'm so excited to have a new bubble tea spot nearby! For my first visit, I got a freshly squeezed lemon green tea with boba and lychee. I opted for only 30% of the sugar, so my tea was slightly tart but super yummy. My only complaint is that there were a LOT of lemon seeds in it, but otherwise I really enjoyed it. Pretty interior and really good drinks! Though it's a little tight spaced it's still very nice. However the only thing about the experience that didn't go so well was the service. I'm not sure if it was an act of discrimination but it did feel like one. First, when I ordered my drink, all I did was ask for extra boba, one of the employees from behind, loudly enough, complained how everyone was taking their supplies and how they couldn't make their own drinks from themselves. Secondly, I ordered first then my friend did, there was a couple infront of us and a friend group behind us. The couple in front of us got their drink so I was expecting mine next, but it was my friend's drink that got handed next after 2 or so minutes. No big deal. But we waited for a good 10-15 minutes for my drinks. And all the customers who ordered after me were getting theres. Also the entire time all the baristas were talking about their personal life and what not. And not to mention, there were at least 5 or 6 baristas behind the counter. But after most of the rush was gone then finally I got my drink. This isn't the first time this has happened too. Last 2 times I came here my drink for whatever reason always comes last. My friend gets hers under 4 minutes while I need to wait for more than 10. I don't understand why. But overall the place is nice, I just wish this customer service could be improved. read more

I am extremely glad that Happy Lemon finally arrived in Portland, Oregon. I saw that all my friends were trying and posting about this new place and I had to try. By far this is the BEST Boba Place in Oregon. I've never had drinks that taste so good and fresh. You can tell that they use the highest quality of teas and ingredients. The drinks are priced pretty reasonable for the quality and service you are getting. The smell of fresh vanilla waffles fills the air and is absolutely amazing. I am especially amazed by the service aspect of everyone working. Right as I entered the store, I was greeted with so many welcoming voices. The cashier knew exactly what she was doing and was extremely familiar with the drinks. She provided some amazing recommendations such as their new Mango Matcha Smoothie. I love their buzzer system, I can do a little bit of shopping while I'm waiting and it will alert you when its ready. The team work so efficiently together and everything is so organized and clean. I have been going here ever since they first opened! I missed Happy Lemon in Seattle and was so glad they opened 2 locations in Oregon! Every time I walk in, great atmosphere and energetic employees. The space is small but spotless and sanitary (especially during COVID). I love how there is a big poster thing by the door that lists the Top 9 drinks. It made it super helpful when deciding which yummy drink to get. Their teas are so fresh and refreshing; cant this be anywhere else. SLUSHIES = HAPPINESS ON A HOT DAY! They are super refreshing and delicious. The Lemon Slushy was basically a frozen lemonade...the perfect amount of sweetness and tartness in my opinion. Happy Lemon (Bridgeport Location) is one of the best bubble tea places in Oregon. I stopped by Tuesday evening to grab a few drinks before dinner and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I was immediately greeted by the entire team of friendly staff, and the cashier provided so many helpful recommendations. I went with the Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie and it was so good. I was shopping around Bridgeport today when I discovered this cute boba place. Apparently, they are a well-known international franchise...where has this been all my life!!
