We went to have tea and coffee at Haraz Coffee House with our little one. We ordered Karak Chai and Haraz Latte with oatmilk. Both of the beverages were delicious. We also got everything bagel with cream cheese for the baby and it was good too. The Coffee house had high chair for the baby, so kudos for that. We will definitely be back here. read more

Visited Haraz Coffee House in Hoboken on a Saturday morning, conveniently located right near the PATH. The space is fairly large, with plenty of tables, great if you're meeting a group or just looking for a comfortable spot to enjoy a solo coffee. There seating in the front, with lots of windows and light, while the counter, coffee pickup area, and restrooms are toward the back. They offer a few decaf options, including pour-over and French press. I went with the decaf pour-over, which took about five minutes to prepare. It was well-made and smooth, and I liked that they offered a bit of dairy-free milk at no extra charge. The total came out to around $7 with ti, while not cheap, pretty standard for a specialty coffee shop in the area. Overall, a good spot for a coffee or to meet a friend, I would recommend checking it out if you're in the area. read more

Have been having a cup of coffee/tea with a pastry 2x a week there since they opened. Good place. Freewifi. You can bring your laptop and do some work. Interesting tea flavors. Multuole coffee selection - the barists eill help you with a selection if needed. Drip coffee always tastes different there. Not sure why. Wish they had just organic dark chocolate. Desserts are good, but maybe too sweet for my taste. Would avoid bee comb. I ordered it at least 3 times and they were on a dry side. Very quest place with smooth Arabic music. So so so good. I came by at least three times during my visit here. I got the haraz latte w almond milk. Delicious!! I did try one of the sweets but it was too rich, definitely recommend that for sharing. The inside is so beautiful, and generally always has some type of crowd. What a good addition to Hoboken's coffee scene! This corner spot is light bright and spacious, the tables are well spaced and there is seating outside. They have all the usual barista style drinks plus speciality middle eastern (specifically Yemeni) brews. There's a range of sweet and savory pastries available too, including typical Yemeni ones and a range of baklavas and Viennoiserie. Ordering is at the counter, the staff are lovely and friendly. They have a buzzer for you to take to your seat so you know when your order is ready. The coffee is very good, it's strong. with a well rounded flavor and no bitterness. We tried a cappuccino, and a cardamom flavored cold brew and loved both. We also ordered a croissant and pain au chocolate which they served warmed and both were very good with a slightly salty buttery taste. Coffee and chai are really good but about $1 more than your average fancy coffee that you get in town, plenty of space, they offer a ton of space prime location to have meetings or attend their open mic very clean and rest room available for customers. Beautiful setting and of course supporting the coffee. However I read some reviews that the sweets are better than the drinks and I have yet to try the chai selections. I've had chai at Qawah house and it wasn't the right day to have it, so I'll come back to try the tea but this is a coffee house and the pistachio latte and other drinks are nice but not amazing. It's hard to get the vibe and menu right but it can be done. Rather than expansion into many locations there should be some more taste testing or explanation that this drink is more bitter without syrups and sugar. I drink my tea and coffee without sugar daily but when I am adding cream and other spices or syrups I am hoping for a balance between the bitter and the cream. I will continue to support these coffee houses but hoping for more! read more

We love Qahwah House, so we were excited to try another Arabic-style coffee spot. We chose to sit outside (a great option, especially with kids), while my husband went in to order. Even with the weekend rush, service was quick. My husband accidentally ordered the wrong coffee for me, so I reluctantly went back in to see if it could be fixed. I was immediately greeted by Dominique, the barista, who not only corrected the order right away but did so with such kindness and warmth. Eh. Decided to try this new spot out. The interior was pretty (though I question store layout). The staff were friendly. The coffee was EXPENSIVE (18$ for two!) and not particularly great. I'm used to NYC/Hoboken coffee prices but man did this one catch me off guard. The coffee had a weird taste to it that I can't put my finger on. A bit bitter maybe? I don't think I'll be back because of how overpriced and underwhelming the drinks are.
