Total surprising hole in the wall - tiny restaurant in the lobby of a skyscraper. The most delightful, efficient woman taking our order! Extremely friendly and accommodating! Food was delicious! Great lunch spot during work!! No real ambiance but worth a visit!!

This place is on the first floor of this old office building. Small menu. Daily special is great! Low price in downtown for work lunch. We came here for the 2nd time today. I got Thai curry noodle and my friend got beef roast soup noodles. Sensible portion, great taste, good value. Come give it a try!

Always good service and delish food. There's usually a line for people getting take out but there's plenty of seating to dine in.

Easily one of my favorite meals in Seattle. It's a bit hard to find the first time you go. As most people mention, it's near the WE WORK sign in the bottom floor of a building on 4th ave. Walk through the green marble lobby to the restaurant. This is not the kind of place you go to get good instagram photos of the restaurant. It's the kind of place you go when you want an excellent (and affordable) meal, in a clean location, from some of the kindest people I've ever met. I always get the yellow curry. It's shredded chicken, carrots, potatoes, and white rice with a yellow curry. No onions (thank goodness!!!!!) and a the perfect amount of spice to it! Most Asian food in Seattle uses all parts of the chicken in their dishes and here it seems to be only the breast (thank goodness!!) Its a great sized portion. The people working also deserve HUGE recognition because they're the kindest people I've met in Seattle. They will go out of their way to make sure every order is perfect and work hard to learn your name. If I had to have one complaint it's that they're only open m-f 8:30-3. I'd give anything for it to be open for dinner! Love this spot and just want more of it!!

I don't understand how this restaurant doesn't have higher reviews. Admittedly didn't have high expectations but the food here is INCREDIBLE! The best Thai food I've had here! The fish was piping hot and fresh, owners were friendly and the workspace was clean 10/10

    Thai Curry Noodle ($6.95)

It can be a challenge to find good cheap eats in downtown Seattle. Harbor Café is one spot I would put in this category. I was walking down 4th Avenue looking for a place to eat and came across their sandwich board on the sidewalk so I decided to venture in. If not for that board, I wouldn't have known that this place existed. It is on the same street as Potbelly and RN 74 in an older building near an investment brokerage. The restaurant is just past the elevators here. The offerings here kind of remind me of DeliNoMore except with a focus on Thai food. They offer breakfast items in the morning and for lunch they serve Thai dishes along with items like teriyaki chicken and some salads. There is also a daily special. Nothing on the menu is over $7.95. I went with the Thai curry noodle ($6.95) since it was cool outside. I paid for the meal and then took a seat across the hall in their dining area. My meal was then brought over when it was ready. I liked the dish. A comforting meal. Egg noodles were covered by a slightly spicy yellow curry sauce. The crispy noodles on top are sort of reminiscent of the ones that I had in the khao soi dish at Bai Tong. Service here is very friendly. The lady at the counter particularly who makes you feel at home. The same kind of hospitality I find back in Hawaii. I think I am being a little harsh giving a three here. This place is on the cusp of four stars, but I want to try more of the menu before giving it that distinction. If I were working in downtown Seattle, Harbor Café would be one of my regular spots for sure.

Monday special: chicken and veggie chow mein
    Nina H.

I've come here a handful of times now and I like this place! I'm excited to come back again and again to try their daily specials as well as their noodle soups. Now that it's rainy and cold, the noodle soups will be perfect and I know I'll crave them for lunch. I've tried the fried fish over rice and the chicken chow mein, and both were very yummy! The fish dish wasn't a huge portion, but the chow mein was a big portion. Generous pieces of chicken and noodles. It's probably better to dine in so the noodles don't get too soggy. Their set up is really convenient and quick for to-go orders and dining in. Prices are also very affordable!

Hidden gem! As mentioned in the location, this cafe is inside the building on 4th. Had the curry noodle soup and it was really good. The broth was perfect so were the noodles and chicken. Got it served in two minutes, so for quick Thai food in downtown this is the place. Don't expect ambience, but you can expect quick good food. Will be back here soon to try the other menu items.

What to get: Thai Curry Noodle I work nearby and I keep coming back for their Thai Curry Noodle. This place is pretty popular. Judy is such a sweet lady who remembers their repeat customers by their names. Chef Rut is also super friendly, he works mainly in the kitchen and would deliver food to the tables. Service is fast. Portion is on the smaller size, price is good. Yes they do microwave some of their stuff, you can always hear the microwave beeping. But if you're not too picky about your food and just looking for a quick easy lunch in the area, this place will do the trick.

For it being less than half an hour before closing, it was packed inside, with two sections of seating for various group sizes, and a casually loud interior with a counter full of water jugs and glass cups in front of a nice plant backdrop with the name of this place in lights. Menu serves a ton of Asian fusion dishes along with some regular entrees and a ton of cocktails and wine. From my sis's recommendation when she went, I got myself the banh mi smash burger after deciding between that and the Pho-rench dip my brother-in-law had. My friend got himself the La Vong fish sandwich, which I didn't get to try though we both did split an order of honey sriracha Brussel sprouts. - For the banh mi smash burger, think of ALL the essential ingredients of a standard banh mi sandwich; then put in a regular beef patty, throw in lemongrass beef as the other meat and add provolone cheese as a complement to the pate-mayo spread. That's what this is in a nutshell, and it tastes exactly like a banh mi sandwich as a result, only in burger form. This was an absolute hit and win for me; beef patty was juicy, condiments were fresh, lemongrass beef was equally as juicy, and the side of fries made this a very filling dish! - I normally don't like Brussel sprouts because of their similar taste profile to asparagus, but I ate a ton of the honey sriracha Brussel sprouts from here. It's sweet and tangy, both of which mask the oddly earthy and bitter tones of regular Brussel sprouts. They're also roasted which further gets rid of that bitter taste I don't enjoy. We rushed a little eating since they were close to closing but we loved everything we got here! These weren't your typical fries though. They were Dutch-style, coming topped with mayo, satay, onions, and chili sauce. A mix of Dutch and Indonesian flavors. This probably was my favorite dish. The combination of pungency, fattiness, crispiness, and spiciness was very good. It kind of reminds you of a plate of nachos, but the fries themselves have a better taste than a bed of chips would have. They manage to stay crispy almost until the end. The main dish I had was the South African Bunny Chow. This was a chicken masala curry inside a bread bowl, spilling out on either side. This was very solid as well. The curry tasted similar to a butter chicken - lightly spiced and creamy, but the chicken inside was quite juicy. The act of putting this inside a bread bowl was very cool. It made it easy to get both the bread and the curry in a single bite with a spoon I didn't like the dessert much, though. What I had was the chocolate malva, but the apricot was way too forward and the sweetness was missing. I tried the Danish cake as well but found this similarly disappointing. The price ended up being somewhat expensive, at around $45 per person after the meal, despite the deal. Portions were solid though. Overall, it's a cool avenue to try different street foods, but I wouldn't say anything special. 7.25/10
