All the ladies that work at Harbor Nail and Spa are awesome. They're very sweet and talented, and they do a great job with mani/pedis. In the past few years I'm sad to say their massages have gone downhill a little bit and that is my favorite part of any nail business. Worst manicure I've ever had the whole event even painting took 15 minutes. The lady didn't even ask me if I wanted my nails clipped or not just went at it. The water was cold the "massage" was done before I even soaked my hands and it was literally just her putting lotion on my hands and arms and rubbing it in just like you do when you put lotion on yourself at home no massage at all! I will never go back to this place and I would advise everyone else to stay far far away! read more

If I could, I would provide this place with 2 separate ratings. Their waxing is a 5 star for me, however nails get a 3 star. My skin is sensitive and many places have made me break out/get ingrown hairs with waxing. I usually never have a problem with this here. The shaping has been to my liking. Nails are just 'meh' to me. Their manicures are very basic. For *less* money, I can go elsewhere in town and get an actual massage to the hands/arm (here they just kinda rub some lotion into your hands) and paraffin dip. In a pinch to get some color I'll go there, because it's the closest salon to where I live, but I definitely prefer going somewhere else. Never had any issues with the staff. I actually rate this place at a big 0 but did not see that as an option. I was appalled at the lack of ventilation in this place!! My sister is visiting from out of town and I wanted to go do something special with the girls including my little sister (9) and my little girl (3) and feel horrible to have exposed them to those fumes!!! They are friendly, but I was not impressed with my nails. I got a Mani pedi, with French color. Well I would have liked my toe nails shorter but they were painted before I noticed. And they use soft soap for your soak?? Seems pretty cheap for the money you spend. The next day the white tips of my toes were discolored? Maybe they used old nail polish? As for my hands I got gel nails. Lasted about 3 days before the edges started coming up. A week later they look like they need to be re done....not cool. When I went to pay for me and my daughter, I didn't know what I was paying for. Since I couldn't understand them and the reciept does not clearify what we had done, I just played. But I think they charged for my daughter to have gel nails too??? Since it was more than usual. There are better places to spend my money. Not going back to them! read more

I have spent 5 whole years searching for perfect nail tech. 5 years! And I'll admit; I'm (almost annoyingly) picky. The search is over...Jasmine at Harbor Nails & Spa is the owner and WHAT a nail tech she is! She is passionate about her customers and takes great pride in offering amazing service on every single visit. She has high expectations for the level and quality of service her staff gives, as well. As a result, you can count on consistent quality if you come here. They use quality product, which of course is reflected in their prices (but not by too much). I wear acrylic and every tech I have seen/met/tried at Harbor can backfill cleanly and quickly and there is never a sloppy error. (And did I mention I'm a perfectionist?!) I even wanted to explore gels and Jasmine went out of her way to accommodate my request. They accept walk-ins but I would strongly recommend making appointments for all services. They can get pretty slammed. It is well worth the wait, though. I currently commute 1.5 hrs each way every two weeks on the dot for my fills and I would not have it any other way. read more

I ended up at Harbor Nails and have been a regular customer since. Their prices are reasonable. The service is reliable. The staff is friendly and accomodating. Yes, they often speak in Vietnamese to each other, but I think that is pretty commonplace for nail salons. The owners are also generous and support local programs. read more

Tonight service was very poor. I come to relax-no spa music was playing,, news was on. A customer was having a loud conversation on her phone. The Woman doing my pedicure was so busy looking around she wasn't paying attention. Made me feel unimportant. She left working on my pedicure several times to add plastic liners to foot soaks. Then without saying anything to me left to work on someone else's nails and sent a young man to polish mine . He rushed painting over color before it was dry, the polish wrinkled. Had to be redone. I don't think I'll be back. No longer the special SPA environment. Customer service is missing. read more

Finding a great nail place can be hard sometimes. I was so glad to find Harbor Nails. It is conveniently located near all the shopping on Borgen Blvd. They have about 6 great massaging pedicure chairs, wax room, & 8 nail stations. I have done several walk-in appointments & I've also made appointments. They do get busy so I would recommend an appt if you don't have a few spare minutes to wait. I get pedicures here as well as acrylic nails. They have always done a great job. My daughter wanted to bring all her girlfriends for a spa day & they were more than accommodating. DON'T GO HERE!!!!!!! It feels like the manicurists are 5 year olds! They don't care about your pain and if they ask you a question and you can't understand, they start yelling the question! this place seemed cool at first...I asked for a manicure and pedicure.sat down at the spa for maybe 25 min but everything was fine. until I noticed that the clippers the tech used was full to the brim with cuticles and as she clipped my pinky on my left hand all of them came out of the clipper and fell on me. she wiped them off of me like there was no problem and carried on.then proceeded to clip off my nails when I had just asked to have them painted. whatever tips are cute they apologized at this point kinda irritated.before they even started on my feet i pointed out a cut on my toe which got painfully scrubbed anyways after that I sat there for 45mins.the nail tech after the wait then proceeded to do my nails.which turned out uneven,the plastic stuff she used on there well its lumpy .then she charged me 65$ but the reason i'm putting this is because of the fact that all of my toes have turned black and orange underneath the nail and I haven't been able to keep anything down in the past 24 hours .if you are going to have a business be legit and dont get people sick read more

Apparently, this business is under new ownership as Lily is the owner now. She and her staff are wonderful about fitting a customer in, accommodating walk-ins and call-ins both. They are sweet to deal with, very friendly as well as professional. I have never left the Harbor Nails without feeling very satisfied with the quality of their work. I get my nails done there as well as my waxing so I can only express my opinion as to those services but based on their work, I wouldn't hesitate to try the pedicures, manicures, whatevers! read more

I first came into this salon for a manicure and pedicure. I am a single mom and do not have much time to spare for such relaxation, so when I do get the time it is precious. My pedicure was so so. The women spent a lot of time and effort massaging the first leg, then sped through the last. They also did not do my manicure. So as my time was up I left the salon. I later returned the following week for a quick manicure before starting work. I cannot have polish on my nails nor can they be past my fingertips as I am a massage therapist. So, this should make for a pretty easy manicure wouldn't you think? I guess not. The woman spent about ten minutes massaging the first hand and arm (I must say this felt pretty amazing) while she was speaking to her male co worker. She was done with her conversation and proceeded to massage the next arm and hand for a total of two minutes. She then asked me to wash my hands. I looked at my nails and there was still dirt under them as well as jagged edges. I asked her to please get the dirt out from under my nails and buff the hand that she failed to do so on. She proceeded with attitude. I washed my hands after the second time she asked me to, although there was still jagged edges around my cuticles and nail edge. Although the manager did redo the manicure and it was ok at first my nail beds soon began to peel. You can see the danger this poses for me as I work with many different people and the spread of disease is more easily done though open sores. After this I thought I would still give them one more try and see how their waxing skills were. I wish I had not done this. One eye brow is shorter than the other and one is thicker. They are not even the same shape. I am very disappointed in the services I received. read more
