It was our last day in AZ and we wanted to get food before we head back home and everyone was in the mood for Chinese buffet. We went with Harbor based on other yelp reviews. Glad we did! They had many options that other Chinese buffets don't offer and the price was very reasonable. The food was fresh and they kept it hot and loaded the entire time we were there. It was typical seating for a buffet. Chairs and tables were not new but also not too old. I wouldn't eat off the table lol. So yeah. We don't expect 5 star for service when we eat a buffets. They just brought our drinks out when we first got there and never came back or asked if we needed refill but I guess we kinda sorta expect that?? Haha Over all would def go back if ever in AZ again. Went there with my friend for lunch. We hadn't had buffet in a while and was in the mood for it. The desserts were good. Service, I guess was okay. I mean not much to do when it's a buffet although I don't remember anybody coming around to find out if we needed drink refills. The place seemed pretty clean. We got there about 1 o'clock so that was nice, we wouldn't have to wait for any food to keep coming out. I think the only thing that seem to bug me was. Although the table looked very clean and I didn't see any residue on it , it was awfully sticky. Any flied foods that require batter, have an abundance of it. The piece of meat that was supposed to be inside was lost in any of the breading around it. It was just good wasn't great wasn't bad. Next time I'd like to try the one by metro center. This is a solid Chinese buffet. They have lots of seafood options, sushi, stir-fry, and all the usual Chinese food options you come to expect. The food overall is good; I come here at least twice a month for lunch. The restaurant is clean and they have gloves to use when handling the buffet utensils. I have been to tons of buffets in my day continue to try out the greatest from Japanese Korean Chinese Asian Mongolian etc Today I went to harbor seafood by the new bus terminal at what was once the greatest Mall in North Phoenix..Metro center I walked in and was greeted by the sound of flushing water and beautiful Chinese fish The place was wonderfully lit nice clean the TVs were going and they had just opened about an hour and a half to 2 hours so people were starting to come in albeit this a Week day. All the food look delicious and kept up to restaurant industry standards all of the fruit and vegetable options were kept away from the hot food They had fried chicken, they had Korean chicken feet, sushi rolls, baked ham, Asian crawfish, they had a pizza they had egg drop soup and all of its variants The seating is wonderful there is enough place for everyone and they have an extra room for large parties/families next door to the entrance. Across the street from these people is going to be Lin's buffet .. I can tell you now in a year and a half to two years time both of these Giants will be fighting over buffet supremacy read more

Food As Chinese buffets go we don't usually expect very much. I felt like the food quality was less than other Chinese buffets I've had an area. I simply didn't like the flavor of almost anything I tried. I tried about 23 dishes bite-size portions. Some of them even smelled bad. Sweet-and-sour chicken breading tasted bad. The pork boa had a weird odor to it. The garlic shrimp, and the hot wings was the best thing I had. The frozen sherbet was good to. I would pass this by and try another place. Service the service was fantastic. They kept the tables clean and cleared provided drinks cleared the table every time I left. Everybody was very nice efficient. Definitely the strong point of this restaurant. Quality The quality seem to be typical for Chinese buffets. Maybe just a hair less than others. This buffet has great service, good food with sushi bar, teppanyaki bar and salad bar. The dining experience and food is consistent from visit to visit. We switched for a bit to go to Lins Grand Buffet across the street but Lin's just took the big dive with cold food, yesterdays food, nonworking steam tables and a manager who wouldn't know the truth if it bit him so we are on our way back to Harbor Seafood buffet after a short sabbatical to Lin's. read more

Ok! My family and I decided to try this place! I was somewhat disappointed! Place was packed, they try to squeeze you onto tables that 6 of us were not going to be comfortable at. As for the food , there was a great assortment of dishes but some of them had been there for a bit so the freshness was gone . As for getting a soft drink refill....forget about it! Took way too long for that. Prices were amicable to the type of buffet! I guess that this was not my most enjoyable experience for dining! You'll have to try it for yourself! read more

Sometimes I feel that buffets can be a little scary but please come try this buffet it was amazing. If you dislike a lot of children this is probably not the place for you as it is family oriented. This place was awesome!! Very clean and a very beautiful building inside. There were SO MANY selections for food, over 4 rows not including the entire fresh sushi section where they made all different types of sushi!!! I recently went to Golden Corral and it was such a disappointment compared to this place. After eating at golden corral I felt sick and I only had one-two plates. At this buffet I had almost 5 plates and an orange sherbet and I don't feel sick at all right now after leaving!!! ( I don't usually eat a lot, I'm 110 pounds). They have crab legs, stir fry's, chicken dishes and dumplings and crawfish almost anything your heart desires. The service was great, she gave us our drinks really fast and this place was FULL of people. She chatted with me about my jewelry and I know it's silly but I really enjoyed the fortune cookies, they were much better than your average panda express fortune I loved how personable the fortunes were. This place is located on the edge of a mall off I-17 and Peoria. It does not look like much based on the exterior (see photo) but is actually decent inside. I went for lunch. Someone else posted the prices recently. For sushi they had salmon and tuna nigiri as well as masago which is one of my favorites (see photos). Their rolls were ok but almost all were California rolls with some kind of addition on top. They also had a build your own poke bowl section (see photo) but the only protein was crab salad, no real poke. They have about 4 rows of hot food options but the only beef option was beef and broccoli. A lot of chicken as well as char siu and ribs. The dim sum options were ok (see photo) They also have ice cream in cups as well as some other options. Overall pretty good deal for $11.99 for lunch. I would say slightly better than Oasis Bay on the other side of the Valley because bigger selection, keeps food replenished, and slightly cheaper. read more

Awesome buffet restaurant. Drove into the parking lot and it was PACKED!! Keep in mind, this is located in an abandon MALL next door. And, there are no restaurants in this corner section. Yet, parking was packed. No parking on the front or side. You had to park in the back. Walked in. It was packed but tables were available (large number of dining tables). Food selection was amazing and fresh. Loved the crawfish and they oysters. Oysters were big and huge. My daughters love their noodles and wife love the frog legs. The only hitch is that service was a tad slow. However, you are here for the food. As for price, perfect. For a family of 5, this definitely fits the budget. Would highly recommend this place! I give them 5 stars because of their price and selection. Price $13.99 for Monday to Thursday dinner which is about one dish price in university of Arizona area. (I had pho for $13.99 last night) For this price, they have plenty of selections including sashimi and sushi, crabs and lots of Chinese dishes. The ice cream was grab and go, they already put the ice cream in small cup but only 3 favors chocolate, strawberry and orange. If you overlook the little swapmeet set up next to the entrance I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food it this Asian buffet. They do some things really well! I didn't particularly care for the mongolian stir fry section. I had pieces of eggshell in my dish. I like that sashimi was offered at the sushi station. There were a lot of soup options, the gyoza was fresh and their bok choy and green beans were so tasty! read more

Came on a Sunday night around 6. It was pretty busy but we (party of 3) were seated within 10 minutes. Food selection was pretty big and they restock everything frequently. Even the snow crab legs were constantly refilled. Overall food quality and taste were average though. Snow crab legs were decent but most other dishes were overcooked and just didn't taste as good as other Chinese buffets we've had in the Seattle area. The Mongolian grill was also way overcooked (the guy kept everything on the grill too long). Price was great though. Only $18.99 for dinner with sushi, oysters, crab legs, and very well done steak for the Mongolian grill. Would we come again? Been here a few times over the past several months, and I am increasing my rating from a 3 to a 4. Why ? Well.... The place is a bit shabby on the outside, but inside it's fairly nice. Lunch is $15 and it's immediately available and 100% fresh (noting, I skip bkfst, so I eat lunch at 11AM). The food is really good. Not so crazy about their sushi offerings, but they're in the "Good" range. The thin noodles and small, cooked shrimp ? Really quite good. Bok Choi is GREAT, and I really like chowing down on that. They also have freshly made banana pudding. Dig deep to get the fresh vanilla wagers at the bottom. The seaweed was pretty decent as well. While I might tend to avoid the uncooked fish a tad. -And there is NO insult there at all, but work with me. This is a low/mid-range buffet in Arizona. Uhmm.... I will stick with cooked seafood please. In total, pretty inexpensive buffet; I mean it's right at $15 and I tip $5 since the foodservers are actually quite polite and punctual. The food is quite good; love the noodles.... The small, cooked lemon shrimp are very good. Seaweed is great, as is the banana pudding. Fairly inexpensive at $15 (after-tax), call that twenty bucks if you want to be cool on the tip. Noting, I think they charge $2 extra for a soda; not sure, but I like water anyway. $20 all-in ? Fresh and delicious- great value and vibes! We enjoyed a Friday lunch here. The waitresses were polite and efficient. We paid 30$ before tip for two people all you can eat. The sushi chef was making the sushi fresh constantly, the poke was delicious and there was a great selection of both healthy salads and veggies and cooked /fried delicacies. This review is just my opinion. First time visit all you can eat for $15.99 was not bad. It's cheaper During the weekdays. I tried the king Crab legs and was underwhelmed. The legs were in water. Even the fresh Ones were overdone. Very soggy. However all the other food was excellent to just ok. There are many Items that the Asian community eats That are part of the buffet. That is a plus. I have traveled all over the US and during my travels, I've been to many buffets. I can honestly say this is THE BEST seafood buffet I've ever been to. Especially for the price and all the good quality food they offer. I've been here a few times and every time has been great. They keep everything stocked, and even refill the crab legs multiple times so there's always plenty for everyone. They have a large selection of sushi, also including sashimi, which is always fresh and delicious. The craw fish are huge and also delicious, cooked in the best seasoning. They have a great selection of Chinese food, and American food too. I have never tried their dessert though, since I've been too full by the end of my dinner every time I've been here. The servers are efficient and most of them are friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood buffets! read more

We were staying at the doubletree and were looking for an easy cheap dinner after having the official family Christmas dinner earlier in the day. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of dishes they have on their buffet. Compared to other Chinese buffets this place had many more items to choose from. In terms of food this place was just okay in my opinion. The facility was beautifully decorated and very clean. Food was kept at a hot temperature but there didn't seem to be a very big selection despite the rows and rows of options. Tables would have plates solely piled high with crab legs, stalking the employees for when they put out a fresh batch, so we didn't get to try those. I didn't love that we didn't find out the price until after we ate and got the bill. Definitely didn't get my moneys worth, but my father was happy. The soups were my favorite part. All in all, an expensive option, but I'm sure a good deal for those with the plates piled high with crab legs. read more
