Everything here was great. It was a crazy busy night for the Jeep Jam and they hosted the after party. Our food was great and service was delish. The onion ring appetizer (not pictured) was sooo good. The onion rings are perfectly crispy. I also ordered the southwest chicken bowl and that was amazing! We are a traveling family and always have to stop at a Hard Rock!! They have always been good, this one was great! Our server was very attentive to the dietary restrictions we had at the table. This was always out of our parents price range when growing up, so today was an awesome goal achievement for us. The entire atmosphere of the place is awesome. It puts you in the right frame of mind to have fun to enjoy good food, good music, and a good time. The Sparkling Blue Hawaiian was tart and HUGE. I made it a point to eat my entire burger and majority of my fries so I could walk out under my own power. (I'm not a big drinker.) I go to a Hard Rock restaurant for the decor and ambience and not for the food. This place did meet my expectations for both. Decor was pretty cool; hanging drums, cool art on the walls, etc. There was a musician on stage playing live (a little loud for my 4 year old). Drinks were priced way too high ($14 for a cocktail?!) that I got a non-alcoholic strawberry/basil lemonade just so I can at least get two for the price of one cocktail. We ordered shrimp as an appetizer and it tasted great. My plank salmon was just ok and so was the pulled pork sandwich. My sons food came out on a super cute guitar shaped plate. We asked if we could take it home and the waitress said we'd have to purchase it in the store for $20 (it's not that cute). His cheeseburger was good and he liked my husband's fries. We came in to grab a quick bite since we planned to hang out and get some drinks later on. There was about a 10-20 minute wait, but the hostess takes your name and phone number and they text you when your table is ready. Which is better than the buzzer thing if you plan to walk around a bit. Once I was notified our table was ready, we were seated and quickly greeted by our waiter Justin. Listen....Justin is not playing around with you and your germs lol. I noticed he may have been the only server wearing a mask (plus he wore gloves) and I definitely know he was the only one offering hand sanitizer to his guests. After looking over the menu we placed our orders and Justin gave us a quick run down of the restaurant and told us while we wait for our food we are more than welcome to take a look around, take pictures, and just enjoy the environment. I love the fact the atmosphere is so laid back and fun. While we were waiting I decided to walk around the restaurant and take a look around. There is a second floor for additional dining and private parties, but it was empty, which may be due to Covid restrictions at the time. They have a lot of memorabilia from various artists and music genres to view. The food came probably within 20 minutes (wasn't paying attention) but it was good and filling for the moment since we just ordered appetizers. The only "ugh" moment we had during our visit was we could only use one coupon per table, and the reason may have been the type of coupon it was. My husband and his friend ordered beer (they call the size a pint), which we didn't know at the time, but you get a free Hard Rock Café 50th anniversary souvenir glass. What a beautiful location with tall ceilings and tons of memorabilia! We went here on the weekend and we didn't have trouble getting a table. This is a great Hard Rock. Always clean and the service is always great. We visit a couple times a year when we are in town and we've always been checked on by a manager. If you join their rewards club, you get a buy one, get one free entrée on your next visit. I typically go with the chicken + mac & cheese, nothing fancy, but reliable. I really enjoy their chicken wings as well. You can't go wrong with any of their desserts, but I recommend the cheesecake. If you are in town during New Year's Eve, they have a great New Year's party complete with live music, excellent food and an outdoor, upstairs deck to watch the fireworks from. They also have good deals from time to time in their gift shop. If you are looking for a dinner at Broadway at the beach, definitely consider the Hard Rock! read more

If you're going in with the knowledge you're paying $20+ for burgers in order to partake in the throwback experience of going to the Hard Rock Cafe (with pretty good service to boot), then it's worth visiting the Myrtle Beach location. I've been to a number of HRCs (mostly in the 1986-1998 time period), and the formula has not changed one bit. Part music museum, part brewpub, you can place your order then browse the eclectic pieces of memorabilia lining the two levels of the restaurant. As for the food, it's solid, but nothing extraordinary. On this visit, HRC was doing a collab with Lionel Messi, so I tried a Messi burger, which came with chorizo, cheese, and a pretty tasty sauce with a side of fries. Good, but wished the burger was a bit bloodier (I believe HRC has a policy to serve burgers at least medium-well). Other family members also had burgers, including the signature version, all which elicited positive reactions. My son had chicken fajitas, which were on the oily side. All this was handled by a very friendly and punctual server who truly seemed to enjoy working there. All in all, a pleasant experience if you're a fan of 1960s-1990s music (it was lost on my kids), but there are better burgers to be had elsewhere. (3.5 stars). read more

Where do I begin? We came for a late dinner celebrating a birthday. We ordered steaks (Ribeye, NY strip), burgers (The Messi Burger, Bbq Bacon Cheeseburger), Twisted Mac, Chicken and Cheese---all of them are delicious. My son said The Messi burger was very juicy. Southwestern Chicken bowl tastes good but it's not the spicy Southwestern style dressing I usually have (still good though). The most surprising of all is their steaks especially the ribeye. My first experience at any Hard Rock Cafe and it didn't disappoint! They do take your temperature quickly at door before being seated and makes are required until you sit down at your table. There was no wait and our food came out quickly. They even had a little sign for a free dessert if you signed up for their rewards program..score!! We all signed up and got hot fudge brownies. While you're waiting for your food you can walk around and look at all the memorabilia. They place great music with tv's to watch the music videos on. For drinks I recommended getting their raspberry tea! It was delicious. I also recommend the bbq bacon burger! It was piled high with toppings and was so good. There were multiple problems with my experience. I would've expected better from a restaurant with a wait time of 1 hour and 15 minutes. After waiting our time, we got sat at a table in the corner. It was fairly clean. We all sat down and got our menus. My daughter's friend phone had died so she went over to the stand where about 4 waiters were chatting and laughing. To our surprise, they actually charged her phone. But that didn't last long because the waiters vape was charging, so as soon as they heard a buzz they took the phone out and replaced it with the vape. They all looked like high schoolers, at the most. my family each ordered what they wanted. Me being the child I am, I got the chicken tenders and fries with a Dr Pepper. It was amazing. But very small. That was my fault since I got it off the kids menu. But on the other hand, my mother who was here ordered a burger with no mushrooms. The waiter looked like an old man with curly hair, he was DISGUSTING. Once my mother ordered, he had decided to make a comment. "No mushrooms on the mushroom burger? Right.. we can do that." It was clear sarcasm. By the way, my mother is almost 80 years old with a broken wrist. She has a cast right now. The disrespect! The same guy worked at the bar and the kitchen. This place must be understaffed if they need one person working 3 jobs in the same place. The next problem was what my daughter ordered. She orders a grilled chicken salad. He was probably deaf because not only was the order messed up and there was grilled chicken with no salad, there were also mushrooms on the burger. A different, KINDER waiter had came over and given us our food. We immediately told him that our order was messed up, he apologized and took the grilled chicken. He left the burger to my mother just in case she wanted to just take the mushrooms off herself, but him being smart he knew he still needed to fix the order. The first guy came over and took the burger from my mom. No apologies, no refunds, just silence and taking the plate back suddenly. In the end, our plates got fixed and we ate everything. Our server did a great job, nice guy I wish I could remember his name to give props. It seemed to me they may have been short staffed because no one was sitting upstairs or on the outside balcony upstairs. Both of those spots seemed better than downstairs to me but whatever. One thing that was a negative here - if this matters to you (and it might if you're into Hard Rock) - this Hard Rock had minimal memorabilia compared to others Ive been in, and most of it wasnt that great anyway. Honestly I expected more from this place. The hostess Ebony was sweet and got us seated quickly. She is the reason they got the amount of stars they did. The booth we sat and surrounding area were not cleaned. Kind of gross. Food was ok at best. Definitely not worth the inflated prices. I ordered a Paloma and it tasted like straight taquila and did not look like the picture. Service also took forever for everything even though it was a Thursday well after lunch rush. Two of us ordered the tequila lime chicken fajitas - asked for no onions so the only thing that the chicken was cooked with are red peppers .. the chicken had zero flavor ! I'm writing this review to bring awareness of what I observed today at the Hard Rock Cafe in Myrtle Beach. I could see that the workers were not catering to everyone the same. I could clearly see they were forming an "out group" with the people of color in the restaurant. I watched as they would skip over people of color and ask others "is everything okay?", "can i get anything for you?" and so on. To add onto that someone I believe who worked at the Cafe was making balloon hats and didn't even bother to ask the people of color sitting there if they would like one. Leaving 2 stars because our waitress Cassie was excellent. We made a reservation at 3:25 for 4:30- plenty of openings - for 8. Get there and the hostess Cindy was incredibly rude. Not to just us but to each party coming in that I saw. It took 20 minutes for them to figure out how to sit 8 people. She asked multiple times if our whole party was standing there- basic math could've told her that 8 people were standing in front of her especially after three times of asking. Then after, a male retail worker in that area was also incredibly rude and came up aggressively to my husband interrogating him about the kids toy that we were given as part of the kids meal. The retail clerk had told my kids they could have a bouncy ball instead of the action figure. He was mad at this and wanted to blame it on the waitress who had said nothing about it. Then his tone and the way he spoke to my husband about it was unacceptable and unprofessional. He could have just handled it with that staff not the customer. This was perfect for our birthday celebration dinner tonight. Burgers and onion rings were delicious and the service was fantastic. Best part was dessert shared between 3 people- a giant fudge brownie bowl with hot fudge, ice cream and whipped cream. Great music and atmosphere just like at all Hard Rock cafes. Everything here was fabulous, and they're really going above and beyond to make sure they're being as safe as possible during the pandemic. Firstly, they temperature check you at the host stand Then, once you're inside they have all of the tables / customers spaced super well. Then once you're inside and seated your server offers you sanitizer if you haven't gotten some at the door & a plastic baggie to hold your mask! They have a chip for your table that you flip for when you want service which was super smart as well so they can social distance appropriately and only approach you when you're ready for them or need something. There is also a dedicated cleaning team, so shout out to the hard rock for really doing a great job!! Our server was Ursula and she was wonderful. Super sweet, on her game, and very personal. We came on a Saturday, just 3 days after being open. They have us an estimated wait time of 45 minutes, but we were notified that our table was ready within 20 minutes. They checked the whole family's temperature and we were then allowed inside the restaurant. Our server immediately informed us of all of the new covid 19 safety measures and then took our order. The menu was limited due to the situation. We ordered 3 kids meals: 2 mac n cheese w/fries and 1 cheeseburger w/fries. I ordered the chicken strips with fries and my husband ordered a cheeseburger. For drinks I had the BlackBerry sangria and he had a 2 draft beers. Our server was amazing. Ursula did a fantastic job!
