Really expensive for a minimal amount of food. Also the service was very slow during this visit, it was very hot out and we were looking for an escape from the heat, and already made a visit to Johnny Rocekts. Should have listened to my instincts and went to the pirate place. On the plus side the food that did come put was pretty good, just portioned for a very small person. read more

I like the new location! It's a lot more open with more outside seating options and a beachy Beale Street Memphis vibe going on. Service is outstanding!! Food may seem pricey but the portions are huge with enough left over for lunch. The Jumbo appetizer is a great sampler and large enough for a group. Burgers, Mac and Cheese and chicken wings are great and I highly recommend the Guinness Beer Cheese Fries! Save room for the Oreo Cheesecake... it's one of the best we've had! read more

My sister had never been to 1 so I hyped the place up & brought her here while on vacation. although the atmosphere, food & drinks were awesome(as always), our service was not. our server, Cameron, was not very friendly or attentive at all. He made us feel rushed or that we were annoying him...even though he hardly came to the table for us to even request anything. ...due to Covid, we were given a 2sided card. 1side -green for if we're ok & didn't need anything, 1 side red for if we needed service. Welp, we had it flipped to red 90% of the time lol but no one came by (not even a manager) so what's the point of even handing us that card the rest of our party was finished eating by the time he offered refills. and when I asked for condiments, he was ready to give us our checks. The new hard rock is nice! They did a great job upscaling this place to fit in better with its surrounding atmosphere. Much better than that pyramid they had going on. We came a couple times and only ordered appetizers, so as far as real meals go, I can't give an opinion. The apps we tried were great though, can't complain there. And the service seemed fine. You have to keep in mind this appears to be aimed more as a tourist restaurant, so I thought prices seemed a little steep in the overall scheme of things. read more

Just joined my daughter and son in law for dinner at Hard rock at Broadway at the beach . We had to make reservations to get in and they really were not busy . So they got there before me I was stuck in traffic on the way there because there was a broken down truck blocking road. So I called them and told them just go ahead and sit down and order and when I got there I would join them. So she called back and said they would not seat them , because I wasn't there. So I told them just say the reservation was for two . She has leukemia and I didn't want them to make her stand and wait . When I arrived after they had ordered the little teen ager at the front door outside was not going to let me in , To go sit with them at their four top, because he said I didn't have reservations I told him we did and half the party was seated and had ordered . Finally my son in law came out and the kid let me go in but said they probably wouldn't let me join them once I got in there. What the heck I wasn't trying to get into the White House. They got their food a plate of nachos and a fruit drink for my daughter and a steak with shrimp and a drink for my son in law . They gave me their one sided sparse menu to look at to order something . I was going to order a club sandwich , nope not on the menu , ok fries and grilled cheese nope not on the menu, pretty much fries and hamburgers. So I just ordered ice Tea and my daughter wasn't a fan of the big nacho platter she got so she wanted me to share it with her I have to admit it was the worst I have ever had the melted cheese on it was cold when they brought it out. So what a disappointment the meal was and when they got the bill it was 90.00. I was in a state of shock when I saw it . I said surely it's wrong ! Nope,more of course with the tip. Last time I ever will go to that Rip Off tourist trap . I had eaten many times at the pyramid original Hard rock restaurant so was shocked to see how bad this menu now was. Plus they sat us by a table with three screaming brats . Wow I was glad to leave . The kid at the front door should be fired for the way he treated me It was embarrassing , I was on a handicap scooter and this was the first time I got to see my daughter since covid in a year and a half. Hard Rock is a great place with a fun atmosphere. However, the menu is what I found more impressive. Finding good vegetarian food in Myrtle Beach isn't easy but this place is a must visit for vegetarians and meat eaters alike! They have a cauliflower burger that was the best burger I have ever had and my bf who eats meat said it was "better than his wings, which were great." I will be bringing my friends and family who visit here regularly. Great place! read more

I am a fan of Hard Rock, so I just had to visit the brand new location this year (they moved in October 2016). They did a fantastic job with the restaurant. It is smaller than the old location, but it doesn't affect the ambiance or the quality of the food. Service was fast and my burger was cooked perfectly. Tip: Upgrade to the Parmesan fries as your side ($1 more). They are delicious! I will definitely be back. read more

Ate here last night (Sunday August 5th). We stood in line at the hostess stand for quite some time. I was previously a hostess at a restaurant and I know it can be overwhelming, but there were only 2 groups in front of us so to stand there for nearly 15 minutes was very frustrating. We were greeted by Chelsea who told our party of 6 that it would be 15-20 minutes. It was in fact 15-20 minutes til we got seated, but the restaurant wasn't busy. Danielle was our waitress and she was so friendly and did a fantastic job. She checked in frequently, got our food and drinks out in a timely manner, and overall just made our visit a great one. We all enjoyed our food. Burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, and flatbreads were all amazing! Definitely coming back here again! Thank you Myrtle Beach hard rock staff! Covid has changed the face of dine-in services for the worse, but Hard Rock Myrtle Beach has stepped up. As soon as we arrived, they scanned us with thermal scanners and then let us in. We were seated and our server Sam greeted us warmly and immediately asked us about any dietary restrictions, which we greatly appreciated, considering my friend's dairy allergies. We ordered grilled chicken Caesars (a classic), a New York steak, and the impossible burger, all of which were juicy and delicious. Their consideration of the pandemic, delicious food, in addition to Sam's friendly and excellent service made for a more than pleasant dining experience. Anyways, the lady took our drink order but never gave us our drinks. She started working on drinks for the wait staff. Waited another 5 minutes. The other bartender was still cleaning. I was truly unhappy with our visit to this location. Service, Personality, etc. It started out that we had 9 people in our party and we had to separate our party into two groups and when we said are we going to be sitting together they said probably not. Then we were seated (the first 5) right at the band below the speakers and we couldn't hear and my daughter started having a headache. The second group they sat upstairs. Then we asked the waitress if we could be seated upstairs with our other group and they said no we have no other tables available. 5 minutes later another waiter comes to us and takes our menus and seats us outside at a table of 8 and we were like can our other group come and seat with us and they said no. Onto the waitress, Lauren P. She seemed like she didnt want to be there and it made us uncomfortable. We ordered our food around 715-730 and did not get our food until 830-9. Then we ordered our alcoholic refreshment and never received it after asking for it twice. One of the ladies in our party ordered a steak burger medium rare and it was completely raw and her stomach was so upset after. Our waitress never asked if we were okay or if the dinner was okay. When our food came out the server assistance never said the dishes our hot and my daughters dish was extremely hot and she burnt her fingers. I will never come back to this restaurant. read more

What a nightmare! DO NOT PLAN AN EVENT HERE. We had planned a birthday party here for 17 guests with their event planner weeks prior. We were told that we needed at least 15 people in order to reserve the "private room" and that the room (which was an extra fee), needed to be paid for 50% in advance. Turns out 100% was charged in advance, but we did not say anything because we figured what the heck -- we need to pay it eventually. A contract for the room that was booked was provided via email. Fast forward to the week of the event. The event coordinator checked in via email to confirm everything was still good to go. A response was sent confirming everything and letting them know that we had enough people for the "private room." Day of the event.. show up and NOT A SINGLE PERSON is aware of our event. None of the hostesses or managers knew anything about the event. Not to mention, the restaurant was hosting a fundraising event on the entire first floor with a (extremely loud) live band. You could not hear a thing. We had to go outside to speak to management for them to even hear us to figure this whole nightmare of a situation out. Let me say that the fact that they were hosting another event is not a huge deal. It is very understandable at a venue like that.. but you would think that the coordinator would have mentioned this event out of courtesy since we were hosing a sweet 16 birthday party. Plus the new space is completely open so you cannot go anywhere to avoid the noise if there was a band. We showed a copy of our contract and after about 20 minutes of confusion, they were able to find a copy of it in the back office. They then inform us that their new facility DOES NOT EVEN HAVE A PRIVATE ROOM and they have no idea why someone would tell us that or charge us for that.. even though our contract stated that was what we were paying for. We were eventually seated in the general seating area upstairs after we had stood around for over a half hour. Service was PAINFULLY slow. Orders were forgotten. Food was not good. Drinks were never served to some people. I could go on and on, but needless to say -- be very, very cautious of planning any events here. There is a very obvious lack of communication and terrible customer service. Our event was a total DISASTER. Oh, and at one point a manager even had the audacity to come over to us and say "we apologize, but our other event is a little more important." Yes.. it was a fundraiser for a good cause.. but you still have a business to run and should be able to deliver any services that are PROMISED and PAID FOR. None the less.. who actually says something like that given the situation caused by their error. I do need to mention that we were reimbursed for the "private room" that does not actually exist and our meals comped. However, we would have MUCH rather gotten what we had planned for.. and paid for it. read more

We got here late around 7pm for dinner. We were told we would have about a 40 minutes wait and maybe waited 20 minutes. Great start right there. The waitress was shaky at first but she picked it up and was great. I got the legendary burger and it was soooo good. The burger was amazing. They have a spicy mayo and it's a must! Sooo good. Another person in the party got the fajitas and said they were also amazing. It's so cool to be able to walk around and look at stuff while you wait. It's a little loud so if you have someone who may be sensitive with loud noises it may not be the best spot but if you're tryna have a good time and let loose to some good tunes, this is the place! read more

I dont understand why we keep returning to the Hard Rocks. Different city, same situation. Average food, VERY slow service, and VERY inflated prices. $15.00 for a burger that is way under par to the other joints in the area for half the price?? Sure its the tourist thing to do when in the cities, but how many guitars can you look at? (Sometimes I start to wonder how vaild most of the items are anyway). She didn't offer any help at all. Meanwhile, we had friends at the table next to us and our friend who's 35 wasn't even carded. Ridiculous. We place are order after this and five of us ordered salads expecting we'd get them before our dinner. Nope. We asked after awhile if we could get our salads first and was told no, it all has to be together. Halfway through our service we were told or waitress is now sick and we now have a new server. I usually like hard rock but our visit to this one wasn't that great. 1. We ordered an appetizer and the waiter came back to our table several times to tell us the appetizer would be out soon. We waited for 30 minutes until our entrees came out, with no appetizer. He told us he forgot to put it in but then why would he remind us it'd be out shortly? 2. The waiter asked me several times if i'd like a refill but never brought it out. The dude seemed out of it. 3. The prices seemed way higher than last time. The BBQ Bacon Burger was delicious but I don't know if it was $20 worth of delicious. Bill ended up being $70 for two people. Eh, I'm not the hugest fan of Hard Rock, but my fiance has never been so I thought we could stop by for a bite. The walls were covered with the typical rock and roll memorabilia which was cool to check out. We were taken right away which was nice since the day before when we attempted to eat it was about 1hr wait. We had quite the awkward table. It was down in the middle of everything. The noise level was very loud enough where you had to kinda shout to hear what someone else was saying. The waiter was nice, and pretty attentive. The food was good. I had some grilled chicken avacado sandwich and my finance had a cheeseburger. HUGE portions, I ended up taking half of mine home. The chocolate milkshake was yum. Ben and Jerry's ice cream? How can you go wrong with that. My only downside to the place is that it was pricey, but its Hard Rock so I knew it was going to be a bit overpriced before walking into the door, also we had paid cash for the meal and the waiter told us that he was able to give us the cash back, but they didn't have the $0.46, which isn't the BIGGEST deal by any means, but I just thought it was a little odd that a restaurant like Hard Rock didn't have change.
