We got here late around 7pm for dinner. We were told we would have about a 40 minutes wait and maybe waited 20 minutes. Great start right there. The waitress was shaky at first but she picked it up and was great. I got the legendary burger and it was soooo good. The burger was amazing. They have a spicy mayo and it's a must! Sooo good. Another person in the party got the fajitas and said they were also amazing. It's so cool to be able to walk around and look at stuff while you wait. It's a little loud so if you have someone who may be sensitive with loud noises it may not be the best spot but if you're tryna have a good time and let loose to some good tunes, this is the place! read more

I collect Hard Rock Cafe pins, so I like dropping by when I get close. I started while traveling across Asia. American Hard Rock Cafes are usually sad compared to the ones I've been to in other countries. This one really lives up to that. The coolest thing about this location is the pyramid building and Egyptian theme inside. Too bad they're about to tear it down. It is pretty run down though. The service was less than acceptable. The hostess had an unnecessary attitude, especially with the kids in front of us asking what kind of food they have. It was a fair question and she was not interested in telling them any more than "a little bit of everything." What kind of answer is that? We ordered some potato skins that we never got. I got two glasses of tea the whole time we were there and it was a hot day. It was maybe 5 degrees cooler in the restaurant which was miserable. There were many employees standing around, observing the throng of tourists. Then there were the handful of people busting it to serve everyone. Not sure if the manager was asleep or thought this was acceptable. The food is not worth mentioning. Nothing we had was better than Denny's. You go to HRC to see the ephemera. This one has a scooter like the one in Quadrophenia, a pair of Johnny Cash's boots, one of Elvis's capes, and some other cool stuff. Went here for a quick burger and beer late one evening. The famous burger for this location was the garlic burger. Wow ! Very garlicky but super tasty, I must have this recipe. The garlic fries were pretty damn good too. Nice selection of beers on tap, I went with a blue moon w/orange, hit the spot to clear my palet of garlic goodness. The bartenders were super cool, we were only ones at the bar so we talked to them pretty much till closing. read more

Overall our experience was okay. our waitress seemed really nice but felt like she had too many people to deal with, she forgot to order my fires so I had to wait a little extra on that. [UPDATE:] After about 6 days of the fight, they placed the one that started the fight, on probation and the other (the one that didn't even throw any punches or anything) they fired. {Assbackwards? ..yes} So after a week & 1/2 of that, I found out that they finally fired the guy that actually started the fight and committed the assault, but only because there were complaints!! They were actually going to keep this guy on - keeping the one that committed the assault, even for a day, was unprofessional AND made the work conditions unsafe for their current employees. The manager told corporate, that he didn't even knew it happened (but yet, he was right there when it took place). I understand about having to cover your own ass; but seriously, what if he stabbed the guy? there were knives everywhere... or worse, did get his head in that fryer.. would he of still said he didn't see it...... He was apologetic that this happened, but was more concerned the name didn't match - who the hell cares!!! Corporate didn't seem to care what happened. So, after the call took place, corporate did not nor does not care that another employee tried to kill another employee - very sad. ...if you didn't want to take any of the other factual information seriously... it was right there, in the kitchen -where food is served from, in front of customers, and other many witnesses - In a Hard Rock building, that they supposedly own and manage. But yet with a "what do you want us to do" attitude. According to your slogan: Love All. Serve All. Is bullshit. So that is the LAST time me, my family, friends, friends of friends and more so, will EVER eat there at that restaurant. And we are seriously questioning other Hard Rock's. We do not want to go in there and see that, especially risking the fact, that this person was in a room filled with knives and other deadly equipment, that he just might come after a customer next time!! That employee is mentally unbalanced and completely makes Hard Rock look unsafe to even shop at!! ... and I didn't even talk about how unprofessional the general manager was and is - why let these people continue to work there and put their other co-workers at risk like that?!!! Very Shameful!! Stop being greedy by thinking about your bonuses!! Think about the people that make that money for you. It's not all about opening new places so you can rake in money. You have to have consumers to do that. Keep that in mind. - I also posted this on my Google. The service was blah. My 60 year old uncle from Australia tried to get a cocktail but the refused him without an id. We spoke with the manager because we get servers can only do so much. She didn't offer any help at all. Meanwhile, we had friends at the table next to us and our friend who's 35 wasn't even carded. Ridiculous. We place are order after this and five of us ordered salads expecting we'd get them before our dinner. Nope. We asked after awhile if we could get our salads first and was told no, it all has to be together. Halfway through our service we were told or waitress is now sick and we now have a new server. I usually like hard rock but our visit to this one wasn't that great. 1. We ordered an appetizer and the waiter came back to our table several times to tell us the appetizer would be out soon. We waited for 30 minutes until our entrees came out, with no appetizer. He told us he forgot to put it in but then why would he remind us it'd be out shortly? 2. The waiter asked me several times if i'd like a refill but never brought it out. The dude seemed out of it. 3. The prices seemed way higher than last time. The BBQ Bacon Burger was delicious but I don't know if it was $20 worth of delicious. Bill ended up being $70 for two people. I'll give it 3 stars for the fact that they took our temperatures before we walked in (good safety practice) and the food was pretty good, but I think our waiter just had no idea what he was doing and the prices were outrageous. read more

Average food and worse service! We sat at the bar to start, the girl serving us was so unfriendly. After two drinks we sat down for dinner, we wanted to order a pitcher of sangria and a pitcher of beer, our waiter told us they didn't serve pitchers so we made single orders. 2 min later another waiter delivers pitchers at the table next to us. The food arrived and was unfortunately not good. Therefor I have to give the experience 1 star. There are a lot of great places to eat in Myrtle Beach, hard rock in my experience is not one of them. I sat at the bar and there was a lot of left over trash and dirty items from previous customers. The bartender served me and told me he was going to take the trash away, after finishing my drink I ask for a drinks menu and order the ultimate Long Island, there were 3 bartenders and the place wasn't too crowded; I waited 15 mins watching them go around, serving and talking between them, and that's when I asked for my check and left. read more

i remember this place being a lot better when i came here a long time ago when the hard rock cafe was inside a giant pyramid. anyone remember that? is this the same place? i didn't think the menu was all that expansive. i really wished there were more options. they don't even have a normal burger on the menu for pete's sake. the most normal burger they have is something that has like 10 different kinds of cheese on it. all our servers seemed to be having a rough time because we had to ask 3 or 4 of them for various things, MULTIPLE TIMES until we finally got them. my poor dad was waiting on salad dressing until most of us were about halfway through our meal. we asked for lemons for our water and had to say the word "lemon" at least 3 times before they understood we wanted a yellow citrus fruit to put in our water. and then it took us asking 2 other servers for lemons before we finally got them. that being said, my lady loved her bbq pulled pork sandwich and i really liked the chipotle fries. my mom wasn't a fan of the salmon and my legendary burger was just ok. we were actually trying to eat at wahlburgers, but they had a huge wait. we ended up not waiting at all because we sat outside on a hot day, but with the fans outside and sitting in the shade, it wasn't so bad. eat it wahlburgers!! there are plenty of other restaurants to eat at in the area. it's mostly just a game of which place has the shorter wait time. unless you really have your sights set on a specific restaurant, i feel like that's what most people are doing. read more

We got sat within 10 minutes which we were surprised as it was about a 2-3 hour wait every other place we looked at for dinner for the two of us. We had Tyler as our server and he was the best server we have had all weekend. He was very pleasurable to talk to and I feel like he connected with us as people and not as customers. I have been to several Hard Rocks & am never disappointed in the food. This was no exception. The place was packed and we had about a 20 minute wait. Our server was a guy who goes by Spike, very friendly guy. Likes to gives high fives and'or hugs at the end of meals. The kitchen was very backed up & he kept letting us know that & why which was nice. I walked around as always looking at the memorabilia & taking pics. I was disappointed a bit with the memorabilia on the walls here. Not much good stuff I was interested in. Our food came & like I knew, it was delicious. I LOVE their big, juicy burgers. So filling. Spike was a great guy & very nice & very friendly. Can't say enough nice things about him. Oh everyone was friendly, especially Jesus, one of the managers. And to make up for our wait on the food they gave my daughter a free dessert. I highly recommend this place. Very ample parking too. read more

My daughter had hair in her food. We didn't pay for her meal but everyone's meal was already ruined by that point. I was surprised a manager didn't stop over after finding hair in our food. Due to long wait we went to the bar outside first. The bartenders pretty much ignored us. We had to wait for refills and the drink prices were fairly high. The food prices are high and the quality was ok at best. I've been to several other hard rock locations the food seemed to be of a higher quality than the Myrtle Beach location. I would recommend going someplace else. There are too many places with better food and prices in the area to go here. read more

We loved it! All of the food was very good. The atmosphere is incredible-- especially if people in your family love music. The staff was very kind and helpful. Terrible. A friend of mine dropped a glass on accident and everyone on the staff treated us terribly like we did it on purpose. I've been a server for years and I'd never treat anyone this way (I would tell them that it's okay and clean it up right away like anyone would) I'm so upset that my group was treated this way, so much so that we literally canceled our food order and paid our tab and left. Never have I ever felt more uncomfortable. I would rate them zero if I could! However, our night has gotten better because we went to a place where we are treated so great and we will be sure to tip them extra for saving our night as we are from out of town and trying to enjoy the end of a great weekend. read more

This hard rock location was highly disappointing. I will say ahead of time this review has nothing to do with the staff and just has to do with the food itself. Waitress was very nice and attentive. Menu seemed very small with few options to choose from. Also for the price of each persons meal, portion sizes seemed absolutely tiny. The burger was flavorless and kind of gross. The pulled pork was good. Portion size is absolutely biggest complaint for the price charged. There are so many locally owned restaurants that are a million times better than this. read more

We have been coming here for years when we vacation at Sunset Beach. We love this one! It is probably one of our favorite Hard Rocks! We come back every year we are in town. Worst management I've ever experienced. We walked in to the hostess on the phone with a reservation. The manager standing to her left. She didn't even acknowledge us. 5 minutes go by, hostess is still on the phone, the manager still standing there and our party still hasn't even been told "we will be with you in a minute" or ANYTHING. The manager than walks away to go stand around at the bar and talk and laugh with the other staff. I was in shock. What a horrible manager. I've been to quite a few HRC's. For the most part, they are just "okay". Not bad, but nothing to write home about. This HR is really great. It's in a new location (moved a few hundred feet from its original spot in the pyramid), and the decor is new, modern and clean. The memorabilia is really cool and the staff can give you interesting tidbits about different pieces. But what really set it apart and spurred me to write a review was the great service and food. Both managers (Russ and Keith) stopped by the table, our waitress Kayla(?) was on top of everything, the hostess (Kayleigh) stopped by to make sure we were satisfied, and Terrie (?) in the gift shop was super helpful and knowledgeable about the memorabilia as well. Cool building for this Hard Rock. It is shaped like a pyramid. Inside is fine too as well as the food. Eh... on the fact that Myrtle Beach is not like super duper 'Wow! this is the best place and beach ever though!' Another bonus or minus depending on your opinion is that it is in the parking lot of a shopping mall. Abundant parking in that regard but so not rock and roll! read more

Came here for probably the 20th time since I was younger. I love this place every time I come. It's the perfect place for a casual date or to the beginning of a night out. We ordered the Nacho appetizer and it was to die for. Our server was upbeat and fun, it's hard to goto HRC and find a server who isn't in my experience. He said they have a full bar, which I then asked if they really did - some beers not present but no big deal. However, when he realized that after three beers they didn't have, he gave us taller beers and gave us one for free, which was an awesome gesture. The food was cooked right, Marguerita pizza was good, burger was cooked perfectly as well as the bacon when asked if I could get it crispy. Overall, compared to the other HRC's I've been to, this one is my favorite, and who doesn't love the Egyptian theme?! read more

We flew into Myrtle Beach yesterday afternoon, and after settling into our hotel, we decided to go check out Broadway at the Beach and eat at Hard Rock. I got a barbecue bacon cheeseburger, and my boyfriend got a cheeseburger. They were cooked absolutely perfect, the bacon wasn't too crispy, the cheese was melted to the perfect point, and the barbecue sauce was amazing!!! The fries were seasoned so well and cooked to the point of being just crispy enough! We got a brownie sundae for dessert, and it was huge!! It was so so good, but we just couldn't finish it. Our waitress, Ashley, was very attentive and helpful throughout our meal, and she brought me a fresh cup of barbecue sauce for my takeout box. All in all, we loved our meal here!!! read more

I've been to several Hard Rock Cafe's all over the world and this one was just as cool. As some of you know I'm a Mac and cheese snob. I feel that if a place offers a side dish as an entree then it better be amazing; I see it as it is either awesome Mac and cheese or they are kidding themselves. Anyway...challenge accepted. The chicken served on the dish was very dry and not really seasoned so well. The sauce was decent but there was not much of it. The amount of sauce was stifled more by the large amounts of bread crumbs on top of the dish. The saving grace was that I was given another chicken breast to replace the dry one. The lava cake was amazing although the middle of the cake wasn't as..."lava-like" as I would like. The service was top notch and the atmosphere was of course, very cool. read more

Really can't go wrong here. This is not my favorite Hard Rock location, I will review later on my favorite one later to come. There was a mad wait at 1:30 pm even in the bar area. However there was nobody sitting at the actual bar so we got served right away. Both Bartenders were great! They gave great service and that is the majority of the experience to me. Food was awesome also, I had the tupelo chicken fingers served with homemade potato chips. I know I know but I just love Hard Rocks Chicken fingers. My friend had the Santa Fe Spring Rolls, and they were really good also. Toss both down with a long island iced tea each and that was lunch. Wow! Really impressed! They let us in right when they were closing which was super nice of them. Our host was very happy and even slid down the rail for us and did a little dance. Our server was so friendly and made great recommendations. Then the gift shop person approached us and let us know she was closing the shop (since we had bought a glass that you get to keep *given another one in the gift shop*) so she brought us the new glass wrapped up at our table. Great evening at The Hard Rock. Who knew In February on a Monday night that we would be almost the only people in the restaurant/bar. Had a great time. It was NOT loud, we could talk and listen to the music. Cory was a great bartender, friendly and made great recommendations on drinks and food. Then came desert.
