Once I told the waiter, they had a manager come to the table and made sure what we ordered was safe for him. She even brought out the ingredient list for me to check. The service was just as bad as the food. I kept it simple and ordered the BBQ sandwich and fries with some sort of special ketchup. The ketchup was the best part of my meal and visit...well it was actually the only good part. I took a bite of my sandwich and threw the rest away. I didn't worry about complaining or asking for something else because our waiter was just as terrible as the food. OVERPRICED mediocre food. Terribly slow service. The waiter was nice but seemed overwelmed and we were only a party of 6. The food took forever to come out and the place was not slammed. We were seated right away. Ordered bar drinks that never came. Could not get happy hour specials because we were not sitting at bar even though we were sitting 3 feet away from it. On vacation in Myrtle, you could throw a rock in any direction and hit a place with better food at a better price. Hard Rock has always been a tradition of my family's for the past 6 years. If we're ever on vacation, we have to go! It's my husband, myself, and our 4 children. We've been to four different locations, multiple times but the past three years it's been Myrtle Beach. The first time was at the pyramid which was great, low wait times, food was up to par, the bill matched the quality of food, & the atmosphere was great as always. The last two times we've been to the new location (once inside and once outside) the atmosphere has been great as well as the staff, our waits to be seated have been longer but I think that is because of the location at broadway and that's not really a big deal (you have to kind of expect that while on vacation at a tourist location) this past year we were sat on the patio and I felt it was a very snug fit, you couldn't move your chair back as it was pushed against the window and each chair had absolutely no space between them the arm rest were side by side! They had live music on the inside with music videos on the outside (I wish they could have found away to make the live music play on the outside as well as I was really looking forward to it) but that wasn't the real issue. The food was very mediocre and bland. We came home with 3 boxes of leftovers and it wasn't due to portion sizes. I ordered the steak fajitas (my first time ever ordering this here) my steak was over cooked, tough, and had no flavor, the vegetables were not sautéed enough as they still had a raw taste to them. The portion of the side items for the fajitas was actually really good though. The sides included tortillas, lettuce, Pico, guacamole, sour cream, and cheese these were served on a separate plate and took up the whole thing. My three girls ordered the cheese pizza kids meal with frys. My oldest ordered the kids meal burger and requested onion rings as his side with jalapeños on his burger. The burger came out with no jalapeños and my bill came out with a $3.50 upcharge for the kids meal side. That made his kids meal almost $10.50!!! That is the most I've ever paid for a kids meal! My husband ordered the a burger which he said was ok. Our appetizer sampler was good but I will note they will NOT substitute anything on it, not for any additional charge either. Non of us like tomato bruschetta so all of it went to waste. After all that we and tip we paid $130 for that price I could have gone to a Brazilian steak house that offers unlimited quality of meat and a salad bar with a variety of food.As this may have been our family tradition, I'm not sure we'll be back again. The new restaurant is beautiful but the service was kind of slow. I wasn't really impressed. We were given a 20 min wait time but there were MANY open tables and servers. Amazing service, Great Food Best Hard Rock Cafe Atmosphere I have been to yet!!! The hostess, the server and everyone was really great, better than any restaraunt I have been to yet. The burgers we had were amazing, I had the local legend medium and it was perfect. The local legend (which I ate before I thought about taking a photo) was an 8 oz burger with a garlic chipotle sauce, onion fries, pepper jack cheese and a crap ton of garlic, also the traditional lettuce and tomato. This burger was great. My wife had the India local legend burger which was a chicken burger with a mint mayo sauce and cucumbers ontop, which was also really good. The atmosphere at this HRC was unlike any other besides possibly Cozumel, but all the staff got up on the stairs and did the YMC, or their own rendition of it, and had a really great time. I had never been to a Hard Rock so my Husband wanted to take me here. We were greeted pretty quickly and told we could seat ourselves to the bar area. The bartender that had a long pony tail was not happy looking at all. Our greeting was, "need menus"? After saying yes, he let us know it's going to be a while before he gets to us. Really bad vibes. We saw the hostess seat someone in his section until he yelled across the bar to her that he's too busy for additional customers. The Hard Rock chain is all the same. The menu the atmosphere the everything. It used to have better food in my opinion. We came here high because it is one of our go to spots in MB. We ordered the nachos for an app and they def are not the same as they used to be, skimpy on the toppings that is for sure! We shared the grilled veggie pizza and it was good, just way to much cheese. I would request them to go light on it if your want to taste anything other than cheese. Very clean and nice, everything about it was great. I love that they have a GF menu and it made it easier for me to enjoy food with my family. BUT then I later found out that I was glutened. I thought that bun tasted too good. But when they served me, they even said "gluten free burger" so I believed it. Sure, there are things to look at, but the place was so packed with people waiting to be seated that we didn't get to see any of it. The temp in the restaurant must have been 80 degrees and it was miserable. The waiter was decent, but the food was mediocre at best. The entrée selection is also very limited. Don't wast your time at this place. I'd love to review the food or service, but I can't. We showed up at 3:30 on a rainy Friday, 2 adults and 2 children, looking for a late lunch. The hostess quoted us a 1 hour wait. We ran in to use the restroom and expected the place to be packed. It wasn't. At least half of the tables were empty. Completely empty. So why the hour wait? I asked the hostess and she said she was told to quote a wait. One can only assume the wait is intended to get people in to their store to buy some overpriced stuff. Ridiculous. They lost our business and left me completely soured on Hard Rocks. The food and atmosphere aren't good enough to justify making people wait an hour for NO reason. read more

Good food, barely any wait which was a little surprising. Don't get the Mac and cheese like my brother did. It's not at all like described and has a pure of chicken just tossed on top with garlic bread. I've had similar dishes elsewhere and they looked way better. After a half hour I had my family leave as we can not stand there with hungry kids and wait. I dined here on Sunday with a friend, and was not impressed at all. We walked in about 2 pm and although the restaurant seemed pretty full, we got sat right away. Both my friend and I work in a restaurant and understand what happens when a restaurant is busy, and knew what to expect. Our server started out great... she greeted us pretty fast and was very friendly. And that's where the positivity in this review ends... When our server brought our drinks back to the table, she wanted to take our order immediately and seemed upset that we were not ready yet. It was our first time here, and we just couldn't decide, because everything was sounding so good. This would have been a good time for her to suggest a few items, instead, she got an attitude and hurried away. We gave her the benefit of the doubt and figured she was just overwhelmed with how busy it was. No big deal. We ended up ordering 2 appetizers... bruschetta and the combo platter. FORTY FIVE MINUTES LATER we finally got our appetizers. In that time, we sat with empty soda glasses and watched every employee walk by our table over and over. To top off that ridiculous wait, our food was cold. Not luke warm... cold. As in chicken tenders that were still freezing cold on the inside. Finally our server comes to check on us and we tell her that we do not want the food. Her response was, "If you had told me sooner I would have had them remake it." I'm sorry... but I waited 45 minutes the first time, why would I want to wait that again?? So she got our food taken off our tab and we just paid for our sodas. The entire time, a manager NEVER came to our table. If a table's APPETIZERS are over 10 minutes, and get discounted... a manager should definitely make an appearance at that table! I was amazed! It was by far the worst dining experience I have ever had! I fully understand what happens when a restaurant is busy, but this was not acceptable!
